Lawsuit Says Church Used Alaska as a Dumping Ground for Pedophiles

A new lawsuit alleges that the Jesuit order of the Catholic Church sent problem priests to remote Alaskan villages, where their crimes would have a reduced chance of discovery. A former monk and advocate for sex abuse victims told the Anchorage Daily News, “They were specifically targeting the Athabascan and the Yup’ik cultures, because they wouldn’t talk.”

Anchorage Daily News via The Daily Dish:

The new suit contends that pedophile priests unsuited to serve anywhere else were dumped on Alaska and put in remote villages with little or no law enforcement, making it virtually impossible for anyone to report them.

There was a calculated effort at the highest levels of the Jesuit order to “ ‘dump’ these ‘problem priests’ in a location in which the priests could avoid detection and continued to sexually abuse countless Native children,” the suit says.

Problem priests from seven Jesuit provinces in the United States as well as four other countries ended up in the rural villages, mostly in Western Alaska, [Patrick] Wall said.

Pope John Paul is on the fast track to be made a saint of the Catholic Church, most of this moving bad priests happened on his watch. Mother Teressa of India how was a saint in real life was an embarasment to the R.C. because she did what she preached. Being a whore might be the oldest profession, but the Roman Catholic Church is the oldest running Buisness.

Shift: Unfortunately this is something never talked about much in history and never in our schools about the roots of Americas true story. Check out the Carlisle Indian schools.

expat in Germany: The logic of not exposing the Christian churches sins against any other race of people is obvious. It might take away some of the attention that is now almost totally trained on one group of people over the rest who have also been in those groups of the ethnically cleansed. I know this as I have lived and traveled the Red Road (Native American).

Volma: Good idea about sending these offending clergy to reside in the Vatican with the pope. they all seem like such a bunch of dirty old men and have a lot in common, just hide all the children and leave they to—-k themselves silly.

Purple Girl: Wasn’t the current pope a Nazi in WWII?
I am certain that when you do enter a church, much to maybe your mothers dismay, the walls remain intact and do not crumble upon your arrival, thus proving the “Book”(God’s word) of heresy is still just that, a book of heresy.

Alaska also has the highest cases of rape in America, way to go Sarah, who tried to force the victims of rape pay for their own forensics test kits until she was over ruled by city council members.

And what of the Old Testaments rule that a victim of rape be forced to marry their rapist? Duet 22:24. What about all the boys raped by these perverted child molesters? Wouldn’t that fall under the sin of homosexuality.

The biggest threat to the world is organized religion, I read that somewhere but don’t know who originated it, but it is so true.

Back in 1978,  was caring for “Throw-away children” in the City of Worcester Massachusetts. A boy came to me and told me his priest (when he lived with his parents) had dome unspeakable things to him (beyond rape) He had informed his parents, and they had made him apploligize to the priest. The priest who had a history of “working with troubled boys”  then kissed the boy and “forgave” him the parents saw this as magnanimous, the boy saw it as further abuse.  He and his (very catholic) parents became estranged, and they finally threw him out.

When the boy informed me of the priests behavior, I filed a 51-A notification with the Commonwealth. Massachusetts had mandatory reporting laws before the other states. \ The worker came to the house (another good catholic I presume) and told me the report would not be filed as it was “spiteful and spirlous” and “...lacked the quality of truthfullness”

In 1995, the priest, Joseph A. Fredette, was tried and convicted for numerous counts of sexual abuse of minors (the shear number boggles the mind.)

My former client’s name was not listed among the victims as he had killed himeslf in 1982.

‘Eye for an Eye’ ??? could give a new meaning to ‘Turn the other cheek’, ‘cause Bubba need a BJ now.
Organized religion with Heirarchial authorities have been a Plague on Humanity, and a atrocity to Faith.
Who says the’Pope’ is more ‘holy’ than me? I have not seen the tablets claiming this..Infact I believe there is clear statements Warning against such Idol worship.
At the Age of 9 I renounced the Catholic faith and was revolted by every other religion because of it’s effect on my self esteem and sense of ethics and moral.‘Catholic Guilt’ is real. And they use it to get you to submit to their whims, as a Religion and as individual snake oil dealers. Of course Hagee’s claim that the Catholic Church is the ‘Great whore’ is laughable since he aspires to be the same- pot calling the kettle black.
My mother always warns others to becareful when I enter a church (weddings) because the wall will begin to crumble. She’s right and I am proud of that fact, because I find organized religion to be heresay. If a God made me, he has the ability to speak to me directly, that’s called Faith in the ‘almighty’...I have no doubt that He does NOT need an intepretor, or require a middle man, since He was able to create heaven and Earth long before Priests, pastors, Rabbi’s, or whatever other title of superiority they use to justify their Own Egostical quests of Worshippers.

So what else is new, Catholic priests have been raping women and children for centuries…The pedophile priests have been very costly in recent years for the church..Oh and of course there was the torture, the conquests….I have one question, why didn’t they send the “Problem Priests” to live in the Vatican, under priest watch?????  If their good enough for Alaska, they are good enough for the POPE….But who cares about innocent children and women being raped, molested and such…That’s the pecking order of things, it hasn’t changed that much at all…money will make it all better…

expat in germany, it is the American Genocide, the deaths of one hundred million Native Americans that the Zionists choose to ignore and block from the American People.

Shift, I fail to see your logic. If there is a “Zionist hold on the media,” wouldn’t they be happy to expose the moral failings of Christians? Indeed, why would YOU be allowed to vent your toxic views?

The public does not yet know the true full extent of the genocide committed against Native Americans by Christian churches.  The information regarding the horrors and death resulting from religious schools has been suppressed in America.  You will not hear it on NPR, PBS, or the MSM.  These are not a few isolated acts but instead a widespread practice tolerated by the Church.  The Zionist hold on the media prevents any genocide except the Jewish Holocaust from being exposed other than at the margins.  The truth of the matter is inhumane and irreligious beyond comprehension.
