No Senate Run for MatthewsPosted on Jan 8, 2009
The U.S. Senate is safe from “Hardball” host Chris Matthews—at least for now. Matthews will stay put on the media-specific side of the political arena instead of making a bid for a Senate seat in his home state of Pennsylvania, as suggested by the recent scuttlebutt about him.

Damn! I was so looking forward to a non-cretan replacement in Mathews’ time slot. The change would be well recieved by all who love truth and insight rather than a daily hour of noise.

Pennsylvania’s loss is… never mind.
I don’t know why he didn’t run—as a lifelong resident of the Keystone State, I assure you that Tweety has the penetrating intellect of a Santorum, the rigid and uncompromising integrity of a Specter, and the professionally-styled hair of the Democratic place-holder! Casey! I forgot his name for a minute.
