Israel Resumes AttackPosted on Jan 7, 2009
Following a three-hour pause in its aerial bombardment to allow those in the Gaza Strip to “get medical attention, get supplies ... whatever they need,” Israel has resumed its attack, although it promised additional halts amid reports that Hamas and Israel are working out details of a cease-fire. Overall, 660 people have been reported killed, including more than 200 children. For a link to an article regarding casualties, visit the BBC.

There’s alot of contreversy surrounding 9/11 and who was behind it for what reason…qui bono.
Before you start kicking down doors in my neighborhood threatening harm on my neighbors make sure your affairs are in order.
Your opinions suck but you are entitled to them, for now.

That’s exactly my point Abdallah..
You don’t like my opinions, but rather than argue a valid point, let’s start the hateful rhetoric and threats.
Blah blah blah blah blah…If I knew where you lived I’d kill you and your whole family blah blah blah…Jihad…blah blah blah…yes, yes…you would hurt or kill my whole family in response to my accusation that Palastenians in specific and Arabs in general are hyopcritical and extremist in their manner. Hmmm.
Let me spell it out for you. Any sympathy Arab militants and extremists find on this side of the Atlantic ocean are coming from fringe liberals and idiots who are not even accepted in our society and certainly don’t have any influence. After the last four decades of hate and terrorism pouring out of the middle east, I doubt you would find an average American to save you from a fiery death if the alternative choice was to squirt hot pepper juice in our eyes. I’d just take the pepper and watch you burn with the other eye.
America is NOT coming to your aid. After 9/11, you folks danced in the streets all over the middle east. Now when you pick a fight with a neighbor who fights back you want to come running for help. Bugger off!

You folks can like it or not (most likely not), but we really don’t give a damn who started what in Gaza. The bottom line is really simple for most civilized people. We’re tired of this shit and it’s got to stop. By not stopping this war, as we could very easily if we really wished, we Americans are expressing our ability to choose our neighbors. I am fed up with the supporters of terrorists who claim that the humanitarian rights of the Palestinians are being trodden upon. I DON’T CARE! They are a bunch of extremist hypocrites who dance in the streets when western cities are hit by terror attacks and cry for help when the wrath of a pissed off developed country descends like a hammer.
Hamas is NOT a real government. It is a militant force like so many throughout history that have seized power through force, intimidation, and fear. They slaughter their own people and export their hate throughout the world and expect sympathy?!?
I truly hope that the Palestinians and Hamas are ground into fine powder so they rest of the world can see that civilized powers will not tolerate this kind of crap any longer. I particularly love how the Arab nations treat UN decisions and the organization as a whole with disrespect and open derision and the go running to them when it suits them.
But, hey, don’t take my word for it. Take a look at the video feed at this location and listen to an Arab talk about the Palestinians ansd show footage of real life in Gaza. http://mypetjawa.mu.nu/archives/195773.php
Flame me if you want, but you’ll never change my mind. And just to head this one off at the pass. Yes I have been to the middle east. I was in Iraq and listened first hand to Muslims curse me for killing republican troops NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE MISUNDERSTOOD HEROES WHO DEFENDED THE COMMON IRQI FROM HARM, BUT BECAUSE I WAS AN AMERICAN INTERLOPER KILLING MUSLIMS. Hypocritical bastards.
Someday, when the Muslim world decides to grow up and treat its people like human with basic civil rights, they will be welcomeed by the average joe’s like me and not just by smiling politicians who need them for oil or some other materialistic crap. Then we can all start getting along.

Israel is on the dole from the U.S. to the tune of $3billion/yr, plus all the other perques of being its partner in crimes, like defending everything it does in the UN Security Council, and having the entire U.S. military on back up when it wants to bomb its neighbors. Who with any sense of morality wants emulate Israel? Charges and rulings on genocide in criminal tribunals, by the way, aren’t based on rhetoric, but on actions. Israel is guilty of genocide against Palestinians because of its actions. The world is seeing through Israel’s lies more and more every day. The number of truth-tellers is growing exponentially, and, most important, Americans are wisening up. Israelis will soon have to pay for their own offense and defense instead of soaking Americans.

Only thing is most countries and people would prefer to be like Israel, not like Hamas.
And Israel is not on the dole of the UN, like Hamas.

Israel is at fault. Can’t govern. Instigated and bombarded Gaza trying to proke Arabs and Iran to respond.
Now they cry foul when Palestinians have to defend themselves. As any other gov’t would do. 30 years or more of oppression, fascism and apartheid over the Gazans and yet they voted democratically Hamas into power but yet that was not enough for Israel. Answer is pretty obvious.
Israel rules the world with an iron-fist and could have stopped the misery and racism 30 years ago. A disgrace to their people…and a bigger disgrace to the world.

Average American Joe, certainly not every American has an opinion on Israel’s war on Gaza, but it would be good if those who do have an opinion would have a somewhat informed one. It isn’t necessary to be an expert on the Middle East to understand the recent history of relations between Gaza and Israel.
You make gross generalizations about the Arab world and appear to rely on the dominant media for your historical background of this conflict. For years Israel has paid lip service to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while at the same time violating international laws and mandates which the international community refuses to enforce. (I won’t name them, they’re easy to find.)
Israel and its fellow travelers have brainwashed people in the U.S. to believe it is interested in a peaceful coexistence with its Arab and Christian neighbors. Evidence shows that this could not be further from the truth. Its goal since Israel was established 60 years ago has been to expand its territory, annihilate the Palestinians, and dominate the region; and it continues to do so with your tax dollars and mine. Meanwhile, people in the U.S. are less and less safe in the world—not because anyone hates our freedom, as this country’s still current president has claimed, but because of our unconditional support of Israel, and all its crimes.
There may be wisdom to be drawn from your parable of your grandfather and the immovable rock, but the analogy is flawed, unless the rock grew during your grandfather’s life, pushing him onto a few square feet on a rooftop, where he did his best to ranch, until one day the monstrous rock rolled over on him.

Wow…No bias here! I have made some comments on this blog and been flamed, so I’ll just say this: You can yell, and curse, and swear about the “Zionist terrorists” who “gang rape” Gaza, but it’ is repeatedly the Arab extremists who continue to use hate, inflammatory rhetoric, and terror to get their political message across. Perhaps a calm and reasoned approach like that taken by the late and much respected King Hussein of Jordan would achieve that which violence and death has not.
You may call me uneducated in the political dynamics of the region, but I refuse to believe that the Arab world has any real means of destroying Israel. This being said, they must come to grips with its continued existence and create a workable relationship that will end the fighting and allow some real progress in the long term well being of its population. You can aslo say that the Israelis don’t honor the peace, but the evidence from every corner of the middle east says that Arabs have no room to throw that stone.
My grandfather ranched on a high mesa when I was a kid and was forever cursing this enormous chunk of rock that made much of his land unusable. He cursed it for decades and when he died, it was still there.

In the logic offered by the New York Times, it’s true that there was a 3-hour pause in Israel’s offensive aganist Gaza, because, after all, shown in their photgraph are a few Israeli soldiers taking a break. However, an Al-Jazeera correspondent in the Gaza Strip reported that, while many people ventured out to stores to purchase provisions from stores that opened for those few hours, others were distrustful. And for good reason. In spite of Gazans’ so-called respite from being attacked, Israel didn’t completely cease its airstrikes, killing several civilians, including two sisters. Despite its own earlier report, Al-Jazeera’s anchors in Washington referred to the “3-hour respite” without mentioning that, like the cease-fire Israel had agreed to in June and broke on November 4, Israel also violated its agreement to observe a daily 3-hour cessation of its ground and air attacks on the people of Gaza, this on the first day.

Some in the Israeli leadership are operating from their holy imprimatur - the Old Testament. God not only told the Israelites that the entire middle east belonged to them, he spearheaded their genocidal rampage to kill every man, woman, and child, who impeded their progress. Sound familiar? Ain’t religion wonderful?

Israel should stop harboring Zionist soldiers and reservists in urban areas if it does not want those places attacked by rockets from indigenous Palestinians. What would the U.S. do if Zionist terrorists were stealing its land and water, and killing its people? Furthermore, the Zionists use any ceasefire as an opportunity to rearm.
