An internal review of Barack Obama’s staff by Barack Obama’s staff found “no indication of inappropriate discussions” with embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who is accused of trying to auction the president-elect’s Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Reuters:

The report by Obama’s office detailed contacts between Obama staffers—including chief of staff Rahm Emanuel—and employees in Blagojevich’s office and concluded that there was “no indication of inappropriate discussions with the governor or anyone from his office about a ‘deal’ or a quid pro quo arrangement in which he would receive a personal benefit in return for any specific appointment to fill the vacancy.”

The U.S. attorney’s office, in announcing the charges against Blagojevich this month, said Obama was in no way implicated. The transition team review also said Obama had not spoken to the governor about these issues.

Obama is as clean as your average Illinois politician {snicker, snicker}.  Since he has proclaimed he has done nothing wrong, then, it must be true, much like his promise of campaign finance reform.  A lying politician denying any involvement in anything inappropriate… this is “change” you can believe in!  Does anyone really expect him to tell the truth?  He didn’t hear Rev Wright make racist remarks for 20 years either!  You really have to be shallow to not see through Obama’s act!

Because talking about anything truly important is beneath the MSM.

Because if they talk too much about the “wars”, the war crimes of Cheney and Dubby will come up, and neither party wants to tackle those.

The transition team states that Mr. Obama and his aides have done nothing wrong. Governor Blagojevich claims that he has done nothing wrong. Since nobody seems to have done anything wrong who don’t we just drop this whole affair and start talking about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?
