Obama Looking to Trim Budget WastePosted on Nov 25, 2008
Barack Obama’s economy-oriented speaking spree continued on Tuesday, with a third speech planned for Wednesday. Tuesday’s talk focused on eliminating federal budget waste and introducing new additions to his economic team.

Here comes the other boot—he is targetting social and security and medicare, and will probably trim “waste” by making it harder to get either. He may even partially privatize both.
