Benjamin Netanyahu We Can Believe In

Netanyahu
netanyahu.org.il

It doesn’t take a media analyst (or knowledge of Hebrew) to detect the obvious similarities between the Web site for Benjamin Netanyahu, the conservative candidate for prime minister in Israel, and that of America’s presidential sweepstakes winner Barack Obama. According to Netanyahu’s team, the aesthetic parallels were built into “Bibi’s” site on purpose.

The New York Times:

Web sites aside, for liberals in both countries, the idea of Mr. Netanyahu as the Obama candidate of Israel seems mystifying. Of the three main contenders for prime minister in February’s election, including Tzipi Livni of Kadima and Ehud Barak of Labor, Mr. Netanyahu is the most hawkish and the least interested in the focus on dialogue with adversaries that Mr. Obama made a centerpiece of his foreign policy platform. Mr. Netanyahu has said he would shut down the current negotiations with the Palestinian leadership.

But it is precisely the break with the current policy that Mr. Netanyahu, known by his nickname Bibi, believes will help him take the largest share of votes. The most recent polls show him slightly ahead of his rivals.

Sani Sanilevich, who is managing Mr. Netanyahu’s Internet campaign, said the Web is one of the biggest focuses of the campaign, and with good reason.

“The main advantage of the Internet is the ability to communicate with citizens and people directly,” he said. “You can actually hear them and get them involved in this campaign. The whole idea is, together we can succeed.”

It’s up to Obama. Israel will do whatever its only ally tells it to do. He will shave Bibi’s balls down as far as necessary.

Recently returned from spending time in Israel and West Bank. Three things are giving Netanyahu his lead: 1)missiles getting lobbed into Israel; 2)really anti-Israel-in-general opinions expressed outside of the country, mostly by over-privileged and under-informed far left and far right alike (totalitarians, e.g. some of the farthest-out truthdiggers and skinheads alike, are at the same point on a circle, not at opposite ends of a straight line) and 3)the very public emphasis he is putting (in Israel) on building from bottom up as in economic solutions for Palestinians on West Bank. Israelis are very pragmatic and understand why inferior living conditions and prospects make a huge difference in priorities. Livni needs to stress that third point as well as negotiations or she will lose, despite heavy Israeli-Arab support she’s getting. Not that most of you care about either Arabs or Jews there, but just thought I’d mention it.

Way to go, Robert.  Americans have to underestand that Zionsm, because of its money, media and organization, has hijacked American policies that extend far beyond narrow Israeli issues.  This kind of Zionist censorship and Zionist sleaze is routine in both the Gop and Dem parties.

Dershowitz: I helped keep Carter silent

By Eric Fingerhut · November 13, 2008

“Why didn’t Jimmy Carter speak from the podium at the Democratic National Convention? Alan Dershowitz said he had something to do with it.”
================================
Thank you Robert for posting this piece of important yet disturbing information!

Now we know that that Obama has been in bed with the most radical elements of Zionism. In fact, considering what we know about Alan Dershowitz as being a thought-terrorist, I have given up on Obama even before he takes office. I know now that it was the Zionists and their money that orchestrated his election!

Alas! This is the shortest span of hope I have ever had in my life. Since the friend of my enemy is my enemy, I am wondering what it would mean for me to be a citizen under an Obama’s Zionist-controlled administration?!
——————————————————————————-
Fadel, Robert,

Not so fast, you guys! “Dershowitz says he had something to do with it?” Well, besides being a racist pig and a torture advocate, Dershowitz is professional liar. Why should you suddenly believe someone who makes his living as a liar and a smear artist? I certainly don’t.

Warning

This video contains images depicting the reality and horror of war and should only be viewed by a mature audience.

  Ilan Pappe
  1 hr 27 min 59 sec - Jul 12, 2007

Israeli historian Ilan Pappe describes the period around the declaration of Israel’s independence as one during which the indigenous Palestinian population was ethnically cleansed from the land when they were forced from their homes or fled in terror after hearing news of rapes and massacres at other villages. Today, the situation is not much better for the Palestinians under Israeli rule. “To make things so difficult for the Palestinians so that anyone who wants a normal life will leave.”

Dershowitz: I helped keep Carter silent

By Eric Fingerhut · November 13, 2008

“Why didn’t Jimmy Carter speak from the podium at the Democratic National Convention? Alan Dershowitz said he had something to do with it.

In an interview with Shalom TV, the Harvard Law School professor says he “pushed” Barack Obama “very hard to make that decision,” Dershowitz said in an interview with Shalom TV. “Barack Obama had to make a choice between his Jewish supporters and his anti-Israel supporters like Jimmy Carter, and he did not choose Jimmy Carter. And that was an embarrassment for Jimmy Carter and a show of disrespect.”

“It was a good decision, a wise decision, a moral decision,” Dershowitz added.

Carter did appear in the convention hall after a video of the former prersident helping with Katrina relief was shown at the Denver gathering. But he did not make any remarks from the podium.

In the interview, Dershowitz also said he believes that Obama’s support in the pro-Palestinian community could make it easier to advance the peace process.

“The fact that there are some in the pro-Palestinian community who like him may be a positive thing—that he can reach out to both communities and be an honest broker who, without compromising Israel’s security, can facilitate a kind of peace that will be both in the best interests of Israel and the best interests of the Palestinian people,” Dershowitz said. “I have a high level of confidence, not perfect confidence but a high level of confidence, that he will do the right thing.”

Here’s Shalom TV’s press release on the interview:

DERSHOWITZ HELPED KEEP CARTER FROM SPEAKING AT DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION
Rates Obama’s relations with the Jewish community as “near-perfect” and sees Obama’s standing in pro-
Palestinian community as his chance to be an “honest broker”
Disturbed by Jewish racism during election
Would decline any offer to join Obama administration

November 14, 2008 (Fort Lee, NJ)—In an exclusive Shalom TV interview, Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz
revealed that he was among those who convinced Barack Obama to keep Jimmy Carter from addressing the Democratic
  National Convention.

“I pushed him very hard to make that decision,” Dershowitz explained in a conversation with Mark S. Golub on American Jewry’s national cable
television network. “Barack Obama had to make a choice between his Jewish supporters and his anti-Israel supporters like Jimmy Carter, and he did not
choose Jimmy Carter. And that was an embarrassment for Jimmy Carter and a show of disrespect. And I’m very glad he made that decision. It was a good
decision, a wise decision, a moral decision.”

Speaking to fears among some American and Israeli Jews that Obama will be less supportive of the State of Israel than President Bush, Dershowitz predicted that Obama “will try to energize the peace process.” Moreover, Dershowitz sees Obama’s support in the pro-Palestinian community as an opportunity for the president-elect to move the peace process forward.

“The fact there are some in the Pro-Palestinian community who like him may be a positive thing—that he can reach out to both communities and be an honest broker who, without compromising Israel’s security, can facilitate a kind of peace that will be both in the best interests of Israel and the best interests of the Palestinian people. I have a high level of confidence—not perfect confidence—but a high level of confidence that he will do the right thing.”

Dershowitz also acknowledged that he received thousands of emails from Jews opposing Obama during the election campaign. While some emails where thoughtful and expressed legitimate concerns, Dershowitz is convinced that many were from “extreme right-wing Jews” and that some were “out-and-out racist.” ‘

Folktruther, not so. There’s a major distinction between Livni and Netanyahu, and that is her intention to negotiate sharing Jerusalem (as well as pulling most settlements from West Bank). Jerusalem is a huge sticking point for Likud and assorted religious people. I do believe it’s essential as the capital of a Palestinian state as well as remaining a capital of Israel. There is some powerful historical symmetry here. In the entire history of Jerusalem, the only people since the Romans who forbade the city to Jews were the Christians. Moslems restored Jews to Jerusalem many times. It’s long past time Israel reciprocates. I doubt there’s any other way to get to where the Palestinians and Israelis want and need to be without a shared Jerusalem.

Netanyahu is appealing to fear while toning down his true positions which are worse than even you imagine.

Livni has essentially the same policy toward the Arabs as Netanyahu with a softer rhetoric, rather like Obama and McCain.  She is, for example, like Netanyahu, opposed to Obama even TALKING to Iranian leaders, Zionists being in the forefront of pushing war.

Therefore for public relations reasons Sepharad prefers Livni, since the murderous brutality of Israel is somewhat disguised.

Netanyahu is a bigot, incompetent, and destructive. If you are Israeli and reading this get out there and vote for Tzipi Livni. If Netanyahu wins—and he might because too many Israelis got freaked out by handing over Gaza and getting Hamas mortars in return—it will be the end of everything that Arabs and Jews have the potential to build in the region. Livni very properly rejected Shas’s insistence that she not negotiate for a Jewish-Arab sharing of Jerusalem, and for that Shas pulled out and she couldn’t put together a governing coalition.
I’m going to Jerusalem next week and will volunteer to do anything possible to defeat Netanyahu. The only hopeful note is that Mossad thinks he’s a nutter, a hater, and they will do what they can as well. Darn it. Had hoped to spend our days there roaming East Jerusalem and Jezreel Valley with husband.

Netanyahu - No thanks
Isn’t Netanyahu an Israeli right wing nutcase? The counterpart of our right wing nutcases - the Neocon Nutcases. What his website looks like hardly seems germane to the problem of a chap who wants to make Teheran glow in the dark even if it kicks off Wold War 4 in the process - more of the ‘regrettable but necessary collateral damage’ that the Palestinians and Lebanese know so well.

Personally I would prefer not to disappear in a mushroom cloud, thanks all the same. Call me conservative. (Small c). Could somebody please tighten his straps again and make sure that he doesn’t get his hands on the levers of power. Thank you.

In case anyone takes issue with the term Neocon Nutcase, I use the term Nutcase it its purely technical sense (? Ed.) - for anyone who believes in pre-emptive war, particularly if they add the rider “and make that a nuclear pre-emptive war. With or without radiation.”

Why World War 4? Because some say that there was a a World War 3. Namely John Stockwell - http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Stockwell/John_Stockwell.html

Netanyahu was instrumental in initiating the 1979 Jerusulem conference that ideologically began the current War on Terrorism.  At that time it was blamed on the Soviet Union, which, in fact, did not sponsor terrorism.  But of course we are talking about Zionism here, not facts.

The memebers of this conference included Menachim Begin, the Israeli premier at the time, Simon Peres, the leader of the Israeli labor party, and, like Kissinger, a Nobel Peace Prize winner (like Begin himself) George Bush 1, and other high US-Israeli officials.  The War was jumpsstarted by 9/11-antrax terrorism.

The Israelis were involved in the 9/11 homicide, it being amply documented (but of course ignored by the mainstream media) that Mossad agents met at a park to take pictures of the planes crashing into the towers, exulting, dancing and high fiving, before they were later arrested.  There aren’t enough Arabic speakers among CIA agents, so Israelis are used.

This War is supported, along with the oppression of the Palestinians, by all the major US and Israeli parties.  Usually under of the guise of wanting peace, wanting a Palestinian state, supporting humnan rights, etc but those Terrorist Palestinians just don’t want peace.  And when they are attacked, some of them fight back!  Horrible.

Netanyahu and the other yahoos dispense with the rhetoric, however, and are openly for straight out oppression.  This allows Zionists to oppose the yahus while supporting oppression under a benign rhetoric of the other parties.
