Since 2004, U.S. operatives have been crossing the borders of friends and foes alike in a secret global hunt for al-Qaida. According to a bombshell report in The New York Times, a dozen or so raids have been conducted in Syria, Pakistan and elsewhere since Donald Rumsfeld issued a secret order with the backing of the president.

New York Times:

The United States military since 2004 has used broad, secret authority to carry out nearly a dozen previously undisclosed attacks against Al Qaeda and other militants in Syria, Pakistan and elsewhere, according to senior American officials.

These military raids, typically carried out by Special Operations forces, were authorized by a classified order that Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld signed in the spring of 2004 with the approval of President Bush, the officials said. The secret order gave the military new authority to attack the Qaeda terrorist network anywhere in the world, and a more sweeping mandate to conduct operations in countries not at war with the United States.

Don’t be suprised when another nations military settles a vendetta on our shores and “collateral damage” kills innocent Americans.

This is what they should have concentrated on instead of getting into a war in Iraq.  Who knows how many people would have died in London, Madrid, or New York without these attacks.

Secret Authority?  I doubt they received that authority from the Pakistani or Syrian government so why aren’t these labeled terrorist attacks?  The BBC radio today had a chat about what should happen to those implicated in the 911 event. They had guest from NY who lost loved ones and, as anyone might expect, those people wanted vengeance.  Why is it that no one is asking what the families of those who were killed by our soldiers what should happen?  The only happy day I get any more is when I hear that those who invade and kill meet their just deserts.  Those who invade and kill deserve what they get.

Once again the New York Times reports too late what anyone with half a brain already knew years ago.

I’m sure this is just one of many revelations to come, of Lord Vader’s nefarious activities, for the evil empire.

At this point God only knows what we will find crawling on the floor, once we pull back the drapes and let the sunshine in.
