Thanks, aergus—I was afraid Ohio would be close, so I voted for him. What he does remains to be seen. BUSH IS GONE AND NEO-CONS HAVE BEEN DEFEATED! I am glad for that.

I hope he wil live up to what he promises…everyone owes him a chance.

I hope that it is REALLY “morning in America”.

I wish Obama the best.

KDelphi, if you are an American citizen, you are one of ours. We are opening our gates to all. Republicans, Libertarians, Fiscal Conservatives, Progressives, Socialists, Communists, Democrats and Greens.

All Americans should be proud of this moment, and Republicans should be kissing Obama’s hand. Why? Because America will speak out tonight, and it will be a slap in the fact to the neoconservative doctrine of borrow and spend, American imperialism and class warfare.

The Republican party will either have to find another way to sell these ideas, or throw them out. I will gladly vote for another Eisenhower if we have a lackluster Democrat. The Republican party needs to look to Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt.
