Faux Attack ‘Victim’ Ordered to Undergo CounselingPosted on Oct 30, 2008
Ashley Todd, the 20-year-old McCain campaign volunteer who admitted that she had made up her story about being mugged attacked by a 6’ 4” black man who carved a “B” into her face on Oct. 22, has been released from jail under the condition that she undergo psychiatric treatment. Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: She must undergo psychiatric counseling as a condition of her release, and is expected to enter a diversion program for first-time offenders that could leave her with a clean record if she completes it successfully. “We just wanted to make sure she isn’t a danger to herself or anyone else,” Deputy District Attorney Chris Avetta said. From the article:
““We just wanted to make sure she isn’t a danger to herself or anyone else,” Deputy District Attorney Chris Avetta said. “

Well, she IS a danger to herself and others. And, I’m far more worried about we ‘others’ than I am about her, since at least she’s in the minority.
Still, there are far too many of even the minority, who think this way. And yes, it IS recycled from other members of society…if not by family, than by whatever other crazy people have been around, and by personal experiences.
This doesn’t surprise me for Texas. (or other places in the country)

In other words, a slap on the wrist.

it still makes me howl when i look at the backwards ‘B’ on her face, and try to imagine the anxious, vindictive thoughts that must have been racing through through her mind as she stood facing herself in the mirror, probably sporting a sinister smile of self-pride and giggling with a nervous glee at the thought of the ensuing media frenzy that would undoubtedly jump all over the story of a black obama supporter attacking the innocent, god-fearing, american pie ashley todd, thus destroying the entire obama campaign with just a few delicate swipes of the steak knife.
perhaps she stood for a moment, admiring her perfectly carved ‘B’, a tear rolling down her cheek, stinging as it rolls over the wound. The pain is ok though, it is worth it dammit. then, to complete the final stage of her plan, she grips the sides of the bathroom sink, her smile goes away and is replaced with a pursed look of determination, almost anger, and after a few deep breaths, she slams her face into the lip of the sink 4, 5, 6 times, and after the seventh, she raises her head slowly, light-headed now, and gazes at herself again in the mirror. ‘perfect’, she slurs as her face begins to flush and swell. the focal point, the ‘B’, is even more pronounced now as the flesh that was cut has swolen as well. ‘a perfect ‘B’‘, she thinks to herself as she readies herself to turn and face the world.
could it be that the american education system is so poor that little ashley todd wasn’t ever taught in science class that things seen in a reflection are backwards?
ladies and gentlemen, you’re john mccain supporters!!
