Biden time: Joe Biden speaks to a crowd at South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores, Mich., on Monday.

Well, there you are, Joe Biden! After what seemed like ages out of the spotlight, the Democratic vice presidential nominee came out swinging at a campaign stop Monday in Michigan, casting Republican presidential hopeful John McCain as a Bush wannabe and part of “a culture in Washington where the very few wealthy and powerful have a seat at the table and the rest of us are on the menu.”

AP via MyWay News:

“If you’re ready for four more years of George Bush, John McCain is your man,” said Biden, who pointed out that George H.W. Bush was the 41st president and his son is the 43rd. McCain “could easily become known as Bush 44.”

“John McCain stands with George Bush firmly in the corner of the wealthy and well-connected,” Biden said. “He stands with the oil company CEOs who swore to me, under penalty of perjury, that they didn’t need tax breaks to explore for oil.”

Republican spokesman Chris Taylor said Obama and Biden would damage the economy with higher taxes.

“Michiganders have seen what Democrat-led taxes can do to a local economy,” he said.

Biden also criticized the negative tone of McCain’s campaign.

“The campaign a person runs says everything about the way they’ll govern,” Biden said at South Lake High School. “John McCain has decided to bet the house on the politics perfected by Karl Rove.”

Re: Cyrena

I dunno, Cyrena. . . I wish I had your confidence.

It’s the little things that bother me. I just know if Joe had been the Mayor of Wasilla, he wouldn’t have billed those rape victims to get evidence.

And what about tanning beds, Cyrena? Has Joe installed a tanning bed in his office?  Probably not. . . . The thought wouldn’t even occur to him.

Wildflower,

There are just so MANY times these days, when I just dunno myself. But on THIS…

“... When you look at Joe’s resume, it looks like he has a lot of experience. And if he has built any bridges they probably go somewhere, darn it!....”

I DO! Oh yeah. I’m almost always willing to believe what my eyes and mind are clearly registering. Yep…if it looks like he’s got a lot of experience, and I can prove it by some concrete evidence, based on the RECORD, and what my own eyes and ears can verify…I’m going for it. I may not always LIKE it, and I may not always AGREE with it, but as long as I can feel it, see it, hear it, etc, etc, then I’m good.

Oh…on the bridges??? Yeah, I think they DO go somewhere, and I think that he’s been smart enough not to burn them behind him.

I dunno . . .

When you look at Joe’s resume, it looks like he has a lot of experience. And if he has built any bridges they probably go somewhere, darn it!  Wonder if Joe can see any foreign countries from Delaware?  Bet he also hasn’t fired any officials for refusing to fire his wife’s relatives.

I dunno, . . . I just dunno.

Jim,

Here I move over to an article, specifically something not about Palin, because I am turning over a new leaf and trying to be nice, what do I see, your post.

Now, I agree with you on the animal killing thing, though I will not use your graphic words.

I hope that in some reality, Sara can experience the agony and terror of the animals she has murdered.
Like to see her pathetic ass mounted on the wall.

I can think of no better fate for this vicious, vapid pile of pus.

Jim
