Schwarzenegger May Stay Home

Although it’s currently the Democrats’ turn in the spotlight, California’s Republican governor stole a few headlines Thursday with the news that he may skip his party’s convention next week. The Golden State is still trying to work through a budget stalemate, and it just wouldn’t do to have the star governor basking in the warmth of Republican love while his state is in fiscal turmoil.

AP via Google:

The stalled budget already forced Schwarzenegger to curtail nearly all appearances this summer. His efforts to cajole lawmakers into a compromise have repeatedly fallen flat.

California is the only state with a fiscal year beginning July 1 that has not approved a spending plan.

Lawmakers remain at odds over how to close a $15.2 billion budget gap, with Republicans adamantly opposed to any tax increases and Democrats seeking to avoid massive program cuts.

Most Democratic lawmakers already made the decision to stay home and miss their historic convention in Denver this week. The majority party likely won’t be motivated to strike a deal with their Republican counterparts in time for them to attend next week’s GOP convention.

Please! It’s not as if the GOP is going miss that lummox! Had Herr Gubenator not so publicly announced his plans to ditch NaziCon 2008, the ReThugniCons likely wouldn’t have even noticed his absence. Besides, judging by the numerous Obama08 stickers plastered prominently on the bumpers of Ahnahld’s Hummer by his openly DEMOCRATIC wife, Herr Gubernator supports Obama - Biden 2008 anyway. So, this actually saves Turdblossom Rove the awkward hassle of sending some collegiate Neo-Whig all that distance to California to dis-invite der Ahnahld.

The Boobinator needs to wake up and realize that it has been four years since he was the belle of the GOP ball. The reality is that der Ahnahld’s current political brand is worthless. Der Ahnahld singlehandedly turned the once glorious Golden State into a barren desolate Bushian wasteland of poverty, joblessness, homelessness, and great despair, replete with debt and fiscal deficits. That lummox has proven to be just a huge ReThugniCon disappointment and embarrassment. So, if der Ahnahld is a no-show at NaziCon 2008, all the better for the rest of the Grand Old Pinheads. More whores and booze for the right-winged deviants, mysogynists, and perverts who will be in Minnesota next week!

Der Ahnahld hasn’t a snowball’s chance in HELL of re-election. So, believe me, the GOP has more important things about which to worry than Boobinator’s disgruntlement over his party’s blatant disinterest in him these days. Amerika is officially a fascist military industrial corporatocratic police state under constant surveillence, with a ten trillion dollar deficit, a broken military, zero healthcare, a failing foreign-owned infrastructure, a screwed ecology rife with pollution, starvation dismissed as food insecurity, overwhelming national ignorance, homelessness, a failed economy, a failed education system, and a foreign oil dependence, thanks IN FULL to the last eight years of greivous, neo-conniving GOP hegemony and global ambition. Everything the GOP has touched during the Dumya years has turned into a burning bag of rancid doo-doo. As if all that ain’t enough, there’s this business of McCain’s selection of an Alaskan Hillary-doppelganger for Veep. Gramps is going to have his old liver-spotted, arthritic hands full from now to November, trying to appease the Reich by campaigning with this manipulative barracuda celebutard, who is under investigation for abuse of power, instead of the infinitely more qualified Magic Drawers Romney. The McCain-Palin 2008 Campaign promises to be that final GOP hell-ride that takes the Reich well beyond that lethal realm of merely being perceived to be that definition of desperate pathocratic gamblers running fierce game on the rest of us, to actually becoming all things fiendishly unholy. Right now, the Amerikan GOP of the new millenium is about to displace the NAZI Party of 1940s Germany as the most dispicable atrocity to befall humanity since Nero fiddled while blaming the Christians for burning Rome.

At this point, the Rethugs really only need enough ruckus raised to drown out Faux Noise commentators gaming their viewers and the obnoxious chirping of crickets at this poorly attended event. And not another decibel more! The already rattled GOP neither wants nor needs the booing, the burning of the gubernator in effigy, and the pelting of der Ahnahld with rocks, recalled toxic rotten food, and raw garbage, in an infernal riot by a torch bearing Californians, openly protesting der Ahnahld’s outrageous gubernatoral incompetence. It’s too huge a distraction from the NaziCon 2008 propaganda agenda at this particularly sensitive time when Chimperor Dumya the Feckless, current Grand Babboon of the ReThugniCon Party, has so much dismal global light trained on him for having done so very LITTLE for us suffering Amerikan citizens during his 8-year tenure as an unelected Reich-supported despot and 2-time SCOTUS-appointed ignoramous.
