Lieberman to Speak at GOP ConventionPosted on Aug 21, 2008
Here’s some news that’s bound to spark outrage from within the Democratic ranks: None other than Sen. Joe Lieberman, “Independent Democrat” and vice presidential candidate on the 2000 Democratic ticket, is slated to speak at the upcoming Republican National Convention in Minnesota.

Nov 4. When the voters kick out the remaining Republicans from office and change those encumbent Democrats who have allowed and enabled the executive branch to run hog wild, I hope they give LIEberman no position of authority and blackball all earmarks to his electorate. Maybe those who continually reelect him will take notice and get rid of him.

this is because there are in reality NOT 2 parties; it is an illusion to keep the people divided; it is a DICTATORSHIP & they REFUSE to allow any other person on the ballot but them because of to many folks well aware of what is going on; ex: it is EITHER rep or dem; it is “EITHER this which is democracy or Communism; then they claim” this is the way democracy works; NO IT IS NOT. NEWS FLASH FOLKS: the Gov was bought & paid for by the same folks who owned the large plantations in the south; THEY are the ones who say how it will be done: SEE where AT&T;brought THEIR lawyers into Congress & said: THIS is how it is to be written: and ergo, it is done; THIS is why we are NOW paying the taxes; when in reality all was to have been paid for by Big Business profits; NOW we are paying Corp Taxes; (reagan: Corps should not have to pay taxes;) “Reagan: you seen 1 tree you’ve seen them all; cut them all down; & build developements; see what is being done now; see the Supreme Court proclaim public domain; SEE that Clinton in 1996 was Pres when it was already decided to go to war with Iraq; gosh, wonder who was REALLY behind the 911 attack? wonder why it went down like hotels being destroyed in Vegas? In Europe buildings hit by airplanes did NOT go down like twin towers did; WAKE UP AMERICANS!

First order of business for the veto-proof senate - dump Lieberman from the democratic party. His fans will take care of the rest.
The GOP convention ought to be a riot - keynoted by Jewels, and then speeches by other stalwarts and, finally, the nomination of one of the nation’s richest persons who will speak about poverty no doubt.
Sad lot of folks. Honest republicans ought to hang their heads in shame.

Again, you people floor me. Lieberman is one of, if not the most, liberal senator there is. However, because he stands up for a belief that he strongly holds, you vilify him.
As a Republican, I dont want him to be considered in my party. However, I have a ton of respect for any politician who sticks by his principles regardless of which way the winds and polls are going.
I would think any rational person would.
THe “voice of truth”? Well aren’t you really full of yourself? You remind me of the “infamous” Eddie Murphy gag. You know the one. “I KNOW that YOU KNOW that I KNOW that you KNOW…” You can’t possibly, as someone who can write a complete sentence, believe the shit you write here. I, truly, hope that you’re a TROLL. If not…well,...you are so disingenous to merit ANY consideration of your “intelligent” post. I am a resident, and voter, in CT. I have personally witnessed “Senator Joe” in action. He is a total “pawn” of AIPAC and is so deeply entrenched in pro-Israel policy, that he sometimes comes across as an Israeli. Which is just another example of what America has become and “who” forms policy for it. I say, out with all PAC’S, get rid of “K” street and return to policies that “truly” are intended to be the best policies for our country. NOT Israel !! I’m not anti-semetic but an firmly against any group/countriy’s interests that take precedence over the needs of America’s interests.

Purple Girl,I like your style ,are you married?Anyway as a “constituent” of Joe Lieberman and Chris Dodd I often send them both petitions, letters and political actions and feedback.I am a Green who is registered as Independant(unaffiliated) because the Secretary of State in Ct. has decided that third parties need to go away.My Green registration doesn’t count in my town due to party rules that Ms.Susan Besiwicz(SP?)has made so dismal that small parties need to jump through hurdles to keep thier ballot access and membership on the roles. So when I send these guys stuff ,I always get a good responce from Dodd, and Lieberman sends some sophmoric crap and a lame explanation of why I don’t understand the nuances of his latest discenting vote.
Report thisI voted against Lieberman in the last election, and to see what he has become really pisses me off as a former Democrat.I wish he would just join the Republican party,he is a big liability to the Democrats and certainly not an “independant"in any way! Peace

Many of us saw him for who he really was in 2000. Is it any wonder why the race was so close that the Republicans could easily cheat and win!!?
Democrats should get a clue and go back to their base of Liberals and Progressives and trust the working Americans as opposed to the corporate welfare they represent now.
On the other hand we have become the laughing stock of all nations with our choices here..maybe things have to get worst before they get better..well in case of America’s low information public, the sh*t has to really hit the fan in a big way before the light bulb clicks!!!

When dimmos bad mouth a turncoat like ol Joe, I guess we are being narrow minded. However, repugs seem to have a short memory concerning these things. I remember when Jeffers(?) from Vermont turned on the repugs, and you would have sworn that he stole Christ of the cross, and went back for the nails (my Grandfathers phrase). The record of the past year will show however, that ol Joe has crossed the isle many times to vote with the repugs.
I don’t care if LIEberman is pro-choice or not, he’s still an unabashed AIPAC supporter and a despicable human being. The people that elected him should hang there heads in shame. They now know the pain I feel coming from the state that elected Santorum, TWICE!

This makes it so clear that American politics is all about Israel, doesn’t it?
I mean, what intersection is their between Lieberman and the GOP, or between the GOP and the Democratic party, at least the “leadership” of the Democratic party? There is exactly one point of intersection, and that is total subservience to Israel. Our elections come down to “Who’s the best candidate for Israel?”, and that’s it. Obama has had to move further and further and further right on this issue to stay in the game, and every time he moves in that direction, Israel just moves the goalposts even farther.
Israel always manages things so that by the time the primaries are over, we have a “choice” between two candidates who are falling all over themselves trying to claim a more fanatical dedication to Israel than the other guy. “I’m really, really pro-Israel!” - “Oh yeah, well I’M really, really, really pro-Israel. In fact, I just bulldozed a Palestinian olive orchard this morning!!” - “Oh yeah? Well, watch me burn a Palestinian baby on a stick and then feed it to some rats on live television!!!” ....
No matter which party wins our elections, Israel always wins our elections. Israel is always firmly in control of the White House and Congress.

All the noise about how McCain and Lieberman are providing a bipartisan example for Congress fails to mention that what they are talking about is the bipartisanship between the Republicans and Likkud. Now that is what I call a bipartisan alliance!

Well there you go. Sen. Mini-Mac is going to be a Republicon. Shades of Zell Miller. The warmongers do tend to flock together. Golly, maybe Harry Reid and Nancy ‘the nun’ Pelosi might want to rethink those Democrap priorities. You know, like wars and corruption and impeachment and committee assignments. However and it is a given, there’s NOT much difference between one war party and a slightly “bluer” war party. Maybe Sen. Tailgunner is playing the part of ‘Blue Dog Democrap’ for the moment. They’s ‘blue dogs’ on account of their lungs ain’t pumping enough oxygen to their brains. That Tailgunner Mini-Mac is one funny little genocidal butcher and you’ve got to give him that. Maybe old Tailgunner’s mommy was scared by a nasty “Persian” in some past life. Maybe old Tailgunner figures that when his treason card has played itself out, he can run back to his other “citizenship” and live life as a Pharisee.

Report thisBe wary repugs, for this mushmouthed, elitist, east coast jew has already cost one candidate the presidency, and it looks like he has his sites set on dragging down McSame as well. The dimmo elite should consider LIEberman being allowed to speak at the repug convention as a big win. Just imagine, the lights go down, Joe steps up onto a box so he can see over the podium, and begins to spout his pro-war, pro-AIPAC bile in front of a crowd of sheet wearing morons who want to set him on fire, and uber wealthy protestant big businessmen who think the only thing jews are good for is managing the accounting dept.
If the repugs want LIEberman, I say gift wrap him and send him over (third class mail, of course)

Lieberman is an example of the worst face of American elected officials. He has basically said to hell with the voter and he has, like Hilliary the idea that he is entitled to serve in office no matter what the voter wishes.
But, why this is news is beyond me, he proved himself to be a “Trojan Whore” and just keeps doing so. There must be a strong adjective to discribe such a creature, but I seem at a loss for the exact one.

If Joey thinks saying he is still pro Choice will keep him in the good graces of any Dem- He’s delusional.Democrats are not single issue people..We are avid supporters of Equal rights, Labor, the environment, Healthcare, education and Peaceful resolutions to conflicts!
Report thisBy still supporting these wars in the M.E. after it ahs been finally Proven it has been nothing more than a Hostile takeover for Oil and beating the same Oil Drum for invasion of Iran and ‘assistance’ for Georgia (who was misled into think they could poke the bear and we’d step in front to take the punch)-LIEberman has proven his allegience to the Oil Corps and Oil ‘royals’, Not to US!
But far more tell tale about the kind of person Joey is ..Is his Unholy allegience with “Pastor” Hagee. The man who is willing to sacrific the lives of Israeli Jews in his Quest to fulfill HIS designs for Armegeddon, but also berate their religious beliefs by claiming they would not be saved during the ‘Rapture’ unless they have converted to HIS bastardized version of Chrisitanity!Apparently there is only 144,000 seat made available for any Jews who are interested..Seats are filling up fast. And by the way those who can’t cut the mustard in this religious ‘Musical Chairs’ We’ll all be facing the Global War He helped start..with the help of those like Joey Boy!Mac & Hillary apparently buy into HIS emotiional blackmail scheme…“Bomb bomb bomb Iran”, and “Obliterate Iran”- exactly the Prime Mover (Kick Off gala) in Hagee’s ‘End of Days’ scenario
If we made ‘Public Servants’ like LIEberman use their other Citizenship(revoking their US citizenships),how much do you think we would be hearing about continuing to perpetuate conflicts with others in the region? If they had to live everyday worrying about getting on public transit, going shopping..I’d bet they would find some compromises worth trying.Easy to talk shit when your ass is not on the firing line.
“Take Joe LIEberman…Please!”
