Cheney to Skip Convention

Dick Cheney
White House / Karen Ballard

The vice president has no plans to attend his party’s convention in September, the American Spectator reports. Apparently Dick Cheney and John McCain are less than BFFs, and while conservatives still are warm to former oilman Cheney, independents and women tend to find him unappealing.

(h/t: the Page)

American Spectator:

The McCain campaign has not gone out of its way to reach out to Cheney, though a segment of conservative Republicans had been pressing the campaign to include Cheney in the convention agenda.

“Conservatives still think highly of him and are enthusiastic supporters whenever he speaks,” says a leading conservative who has spoken to the campaign about Cheney. “For a campaign that has largely failed in reaching out to conservatives, reaching out to Cheney wouldn’t be a bad idea.”

McCain and Cheney famously do not get along, and with McCain’s focus being almost exclusively on attracting independents and women to the polls, it’s not a surprise that engaging Cheney isn’t on the top of his list.

“The festival was over and the boys were all planning for a fall,
The cabaret was quiet except for the drilling in the wall.
The curfew had been lifted and the gambling wheel shut down,
Anyone with any sense had already left town.
He was standing in the doorway, looking like the Jack of Hearts.”

Cheney has his own ‘Exit Stratedgy’
Here’s a thought he’d better heed- This time we Will actually be trying to catch him, unlike the facade played for your co conspirator Binny!
Arrest Cheney NOW and hold him like the Gitmo prisoners, A real enemy Combatant - he can see atrial date when we get around to it- or at least until Georgie Boy is out of Office- No Pardon, No Escape, No Mercy!

lawlessness reigns in the USA who has made the term democracy the most despicable & despised name on the planet; started with Bush sr trying to pass & couldn’t (rep) on to Clinton (dem) who went to Mexico passed $ & info (after all powerful elites who can do whatever they want & not have to worry about consequences as they appoint the judges (supreme court judges) in their hands; fun little round robin going on; then on to Mexico; then on to France, & Italy; with the off shore accounts; problem is: the PEOPLE also have a say; other countries want to get rid of all politicians; starting with ours for going & giving the $ to theres; & no ones Constitution means anything anymore; only remember the heads of the Corp’s working hand in hand with politicians folks; other things may be problems these are the very source of it all; all paths leading back to both dem & rep parties; who are 1; pretending to be 2; dog & pony show gone on long enough;

RE: if Cheney appeared at the republican convention, would he be nominated or assassinated?

It’s sort of like coming face to grill with a Humvee, right on the street in front of your favorite coffee shop…do you surrender or salute?

Recall that Mr. Cheney in the beginning of his tenure refused to inform what transpired at the meetings with the oil companies during is meetings.  Grousefeather’s comments summed it up.  Mr. Cheney has managed to make billionaires of the oil industry magnates.  He has pushed to the destruction of this once great nation’s name, caused innumerable deaths and mayhem to our own troops by his push to forward an unprovoked war with a third world nation and the list continues.  He will be held accountable for his acts some day.  Not by this congress, nor this administration.

Well, there will probably come a time when he will only need to show his face in a court room of law! It may take some time, even after he is voted out of office, but should, note I said should, come if this nation is ever to see financial justice regarding this Iraq debacle. There is evidence that he broke the law (the Federal Acquisition Requlation) when he steered that sole source contract to Halliburton (his OWN previous OIL BASED company) and then insured that it continued year after year. It has been shown over and over again that Halliburton, and its hidden subcontractors, fleeced the American tax payer big time. And, it is probably still going on!

Cheney won’t be available because he will be in his secret, undisclosed bunker, directing the next false-flag against America.

Cheney, so vital and instrumental in helping stage and operate the 9/11 false-flag, will again be directing elements of the MOSSAD and CIA when they again attack an American city.

After that attack, martial law will be declared and the elections, postponed, until order is restored.

And order won’t be restored until after the bogus War on Terror is over, which means not in our lifetimes.

Dick Cheney:  The American Dream or the American Nightmare?

A Christmas Carol for Ebeneezer Cheney…...
One wonders if the Ghost of Christmas Past will ever visit President Cheney, and, in that event, would it make a difference?

What do you say to this cynical Dickensian Thug?
Baaahhhh Humbug!!!

The smirk says it all: “Screw the lot of yas, while I take my retirement in Dubai.” Right where all Petro Big Shots do their banking and partying, including Iranians.

Listen up Robert Scheer - the real read is this:

All the tension in the Middle East is calculated to explode oil profits. All the chaos, death and destruction. Get it straight! It benefits Iranian Big Shots as much as it does the Saudis and their friends: Cheney et al. Al Queda is the best bogyman money can buy.

They’ve been waggin’ the dog so long, you’re all befuddled - terrorism is the primary gambit - with enough of it they’ll have the world on its knees, begging for protection - oldest game in the book.

9/11 was not the biggest intelligence failure of all time. It was the biggest intelligence success and it’s still succeeding.

It’s easy to understand why Dick Cheney is skipping the republican convention, there’s nothing left for him to accomplish. He’s done everything he set out to do and he’s had eight glorious years to do it. His accomplishments? The American dream has been crushed, the governemnt has be plunged into debt so far it may never recover, the nation’s wealth has been plundered, and there’s really nothing left to steal. The republican fantasy has been fully realized!

When did Cheney stop being an oilman?  And “unappealing” is about as kindly as it can be put.
