The Democrats have decided to make their upcoming convention as environmentally friendly as possible, which raises the question: Where does one find 15,000 union- and American-made organic cotton fanny packs? The answer, it turns out, is nowhere.

That’s just one of many challenges facing convention organizers. Leave it to the Democrats to agonize over such questions as how to feed 50,000 people a variety of nutritious, locally grown, organic, non-fried food that conforms to strict color guidelines.

Humm…I ran across this same problem when I was attempting to find a source for “American” manufactured US flags.

Nearly all of them come from China. (the US flags that is). The few that are made here, are of a petroleum base. IE..NOT my idea of ‘organic’. Definitely NOT cotton.
