I’m with you again JPS. Pretty amazing eh? Just say what you want, and then that you regret it, or not.
On the DHS keeping everybody safe…well, we know that was never the case. And yes, another attack would do exactly what you’ve suggested. Just keep them in power forever.
If that happens, I’m outta here.

McCain needs all the help he can get in November and, if a terrorist action can sway the vote his way, surely it’s fine with his masters.

Black is just sorry he let everyone know they plan to win with a false-flag terrorist attack.

Why apologize for telling the truth?
It’s kinda like a correction in the newspaper - the orginal quote or comment or imagge hits the front page - or somewhere in the copy and in black and white - and then a ‘retraction’ or ‘correction’ is made ... which is almost toally useless but serves the paper as a disclaimer.
I wonder if Charlie Black is on the list of appeasers?

Charlie Black and the McCain’s camp do not need to apologize or get disturbed over a statement that not only expressed a spontaneous sad reality, but also a hope and a possible option that it will happen again.
McCain and his elk know better than anyone else that fear-mongering worked in the past and it will work in the future. Possibly deep in their hearts they’re convinced that the 9 /11 was an inside job that achieved its objectives (for the good of the homeland!) and thus they hope and possibly would plan for its repetition.
I am convinced that, while we are busy and occupied with the divisive partisan rhetoric of the presidential campaign, there are secretive groups and individuals already working in the dark on planning a spectacular operation like 9/11 as an option to be executed if necessary. No one would know for sure the entities involved in this, but certainly the CIA, the Mossad and some Pakistani, Saudi, Jordanian and Egyptian secret services will be part of this. The last four of the above mentioned secret services will be involved in providing the alleged would-be terrorists, their passports and all necessary forged paper trails.

Say whatever you want, then apologize two days later. Especially if you’re a conservative, the apology drops the story from the news and you got to say whatever inflammatory thing it was.
The only problem with the terrorist attack scenario is that while it might help McCain, it also suggests that Bush’s DHS isn’t keeping America safe from the evil ones.
Besides, i would think that such an event would be more likely to lead to the cancellation of elections and the institution of martial law than sweeping McCain into office.
