Lebanon’s Leaders Reach DealPosted on May 21, 2008
The Lebanese government and the Hezbollah opposition group came to a power-sharing agreement Wednesday, potentially marking the end to the country’s two-year-old political crisis, which only weeks ago erupted in clashes that left 65 people dead. The move, which some analysts say may benefit Hezbollah more than the Western-backed government, has been hailed by the parties directly involved and others, including the U.S.

The settlement reached at Doha between the Lebanese factions should not be considered as a defeat nor a victory for one side or another,its the ultimate solution that should have been reached long time ago.This goes to show how much damage that has been done to Lebanon by the US stubborn policies.So, Arabs consider this accord as a defeat to the neocon’s hideous scheme.
