Bill Boyarsky’s outstanding political reporting was also nominated, and we were up for best Web magazine overall. We’re proud to win recognition for our book review, which has featured important work at a time when newspapers around the country are cutting back on their book coverage. Thanks to our reviewers for their fine work and to our readers for their support. And, how obscenely quickly you have removed those two articles on the hurricane tsunami in Burma from your front page….. no room for the deaths of 100,000 Asians? Or no room for comment about America’s shortcomings???

Thanks to our reviewers for their fine work and to our readers…
Neither in the Webby awards in the past or this Maggie award did you ever bother to mention the poepl who blog here, Scheer.
Of course, you don’t really need us anyway, do you? Has it ever occurred that we post comments here out of preference rather than because we need you?
I think its high time that you started working on that….... even if thinking outside yourself is rather hard to do, uhh. There’s still a lot of room for improvement!

Thank you for creating a blog with substance and diverse points of view. I may not always agree, but I do enjoy reading the well written articles.
