The competition between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton to win their Senate colleagues’ endorsements is still very close, but Obama moved one notch ahead of Clinton Monday with the addition of Sen. Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico to his list of supporters, which has now grown to 14.

“The Trail” in The Washington Post:

Obama will also get the vote of Sen. Russ Feingold (D-Wis.), who has not officially endorsed him but said he will support Obama at the convention in deference to his state’s voters. Clinton has a similar pledge from Sen. Barbara Boxer of California.

[...] Of course, Clinton can still flip the endorsement balance back in her favor: Not counting Clinton, Obama, and the Senate’s two Democratic-leaning independents, 18 Democratic senators still have yet to endorse.

The Democratic race for nomination is very much alive – and most likely to be decided by superdelegates. Nevertheless.. Indiana ,Idaho and West Virginia are still to come.

If youÂ’re tired of waiting around for those super delegates to make a decision already, go to LobbyDelegates.com and push them to support Clinton or Obama

If you haven’t done so yet, please write a message to each of your state’s superdelegates at http://www.lobbydelegates.com

It takes a moment, but what’s a few minutes now worth to get Obama in office?!

Sending a note to current Obama supporters lets them know it’s appreciated, sending a note to current Clinton supporters can hopefully sway them to change their vote to Obama, and sending a note to the uncommitted folks will hopefully sway them to vote for Obama. It’s that easy…

Clinton Supporters too Â…. !

REALLY easy to identify the superdelegates and reach out to them! It includes a list of names, addresses, and affiliations of superdelegates from each state including your state

(Yawn) - Truthdig, I can’t take this kind of excitement anymore.

Wake me when the corporate board of directors has named our new CEO/President for us. Thank you.

Sadly, groups like that inevitably get hijacked from within by some single interest faction. Just keep moving on…...

Man, that MoveOn.org money and media spin sure does have a powerful pull on those pols, huh?

LOL! None of ‘em want to get on the wrong side of THAT endorsement! Hey, Obama isn’t the only one who’s going to need them to win in November, you know.

Thank ‘god’ Barack and Hillary are both Democrats, so they’re courting Democratic Senators.

Otherwise, Barack would be the one doing the f**king, instead of Hillary.

Ah, things are looking better, and this helps us (the constituency)in understanding what we need to understand..specifically about who’s who, and where they really are in terms of what’s good for ‘we the people’ and what’s good for the fascists.

So, Cindy Sheehan is now prepared to take Pelosi on for her house seat, and I guess that means we need to find somebody to take Feinstein on for her Senate seat.

Time to throw out the fascists, (or the weak-kneed corporatists and right wing dems) and replace them with real democrats that uphold the principles of the Democratic party….

Reportedly (Chris Matthews) there’s a whole slate of superdelegates waiting to endorse Barack Obama at the right time.

This is starting to remind me of the “space race” in the 1950’s and 60’s between The USA and the USSR, uhh.
