Carter Feels ‘Quite at Ease’ With Hamas Meeting

The State Department says it has twice asked Jimmy Carter not to meet with Hamas leaders, but the former president says he feels “quite at ease” in going ahead with a scheduled meeting because “Hamas will have to be included” if there is to be peace in the region.

AP via Google:

“I feel quite at ease in doing this,” he said. “I think there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that, if Israel is ever going to find peace with justice concerning the relationship with their next-door neighbors, the Palestinians, that Hamas will have to be included in the process.”

Although he said the meeting would not be a negotiation, he outlined distinct goals.

“I think that it’s very important that at least someone meet with the Hamas leaders to express their views, to ascertain what flexibility they have, to try to induce them to stop all attacks against innocent civilians in Israel and to cooperate with the Fatah as a group that unites the Palestinians, maybe to get them to agree to a cease-fire—things of this kind,” he said.

Go Carter! You’re the last honest, peace-loving and man of common sense left in these sad United States of America.

If the hating Zionists, both Americans and Israelis, do not like your peaceful and common sense attitude, then I am sure you’ll be warmly welcomed by the Palestinians whom you are advocating their just cause. I believe that most Palestinians would trust you to be their president instead of the puppet and irrelevant Mahmoud Abbas!

>>If Ben-Gurion had carried out a large expulsion and cleansed the whole country – rather than a partial one – he would have stabilized the State of Israel for generations.<<

Interesting comment. I have often pondered the same question. But I came to the conclusion that Israel began engaging in colonial behavior at the same historical moment that most of the big colonial powers had come to regard such behavior as, if not immoral, then certainly untenable politically and militarily. In fact, the state of Israel was perhaps only made possible by the decisions of Great Britain and France to back away from their previous aggressive imperialist policies.

Essentially, this meant however, that Israel was bucking the historical trend. Of course, as blog sites like this make clear, Israel’s Zionists tendencies are today completely frowned upon by progressives. If they had started 75 years earlier, however, one could suppose that things might be more settled today.

Its a quote from Israeli historian Benny Morris, who stated in a recent interview with Ha’aretz: “A Jewish state would not have come into being without the uprooting of 700,000 Palestinians.

Therefore it was necessary to uproot them.” He added, “... if the desire to establish a Jewish state here is legitimate, there was no other choice. It was impossible to leave a large fifth column in the country,” as well as claiming that Ben-Gurion “faltered” by not engaging in further expulsion:

“If he was already engaged in expulsion, maybe he should have done a complete job. I know that this stuns the Arabs and the liberals and the politically correct types. But my feeling is that this place would be quieter and know less suffering if the matter had been resolved once and for all.

If Ben-Gurion had carried out a large expulsion and cleansed the whole country – the whole Land of Israel, as far as the Jordan River. It may yet turn out that this was his fatal mistake. If he had carried out a full expulsion – rather than a partial one – he would have stabilized the State of Israel for generations.”

There is no doubt in my mind that Iranian gun crews died when the Israeli provided TOW’s failed to work.

Everybody, welcome to this board Vice President Dick Cheney, but on this board, due to Secret Service concerns, he’ll use the name of LEE.

Lee, if you want to get down on your knees and as you say, “kiss Israel’s ass for putting their lives on the line as America’s and democracy’s front line of defense”, by all means do so, except the line is rather long as there is around 500 Congress men and women who are already on their knees, mouth open and hoping for a treat.

Lee, is Israel is such a good “friend”, why did Israel murder 37 Americans and wound another 140, when they savagely attacked the USS Liberty?

Why Lee, if Israel is such a good friend, did Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, when asked what the 9/11 attacks means for relations between the US and Israel, replies, “It’s very good.” Then he edits himself: “Well, not very good, but it will generate immediate sympathy.”

Israel is not our friend.  We don’t need friends like Israel.

Friends don’t send their agents to Liberty State Park in New Jersey, on the morning of 9/11, to video tape the WTC being attacked.

Not only did they tape that tragedy, they were seen jumping in the air, celebrating when one of the towers came down.

Israel’s current strategy, set in motion with the apparent full cooperation of US officials, has been to marginalize the democratically elected Hamas gov’t. To achieve this, they began by negotiating with Fatah, fully knowing that Hamas would not accept or accede to any agreed terms. Hamas’ subsequent rejection of any negotiation would then, as planned, give Israeli leaders the pretext to brand Hamas as radical and intransigent, and to justify stepped-up military action in Gaza.

The broader long term goal of all this is to make Israel appear to be earnest in it’s attempts at reaching a settlement, while at the same time ensuring that no such settlement is in any way possible - at least, not until their colonial project is fully realized.

One thing they probably didn’t count on was Jimmy Carter. As an old hand in this conflict, Carter will be well aware of the tactic Israel has put into play. Under these circumstances, many Israeli leaders would likely view Carter’s meeting with Hamas as a deliberate provocation, and an attempt to undermine their master plan. Is it any wonder they now snub him?

It’s all right there, for all to see. If one but dares to look.

Insofar as Gaza is concerned, that is precisely what Hamas is.  It was democratically elected by the people of Gaza, who were fed up with the corruption and sell outs by Fatah.  Unfortunately for the people of Gaza, the Zionists, Geo. W. Bush & your pal Hillary only recognize a government as “democratic” when the people vote for someone “we” want in.

Came across this list that may be of interest to Lee the white hat and all the other fools.

NO LOBBY IS FEARED MORE or catered to by politicians than the Jewish Lobby. If a politician does not play ball with the Jewish Lobby, he will not get elected, or re-elected, and he will either be smeared or ignored by the Jewish-owned major media.

All Jewish lobbies and organizations are interconnected and there are hundreds upon hundreds of them. The leaders of the numerous Jewish Lobby Groups go to the same synagogues, country clubs, and share the same Jewish investment bankers. And this inter-connectedness extends to the Jews who run the Federal Reserve Bank, US Homeland Security, and the US State Department.

In other words, “Jews stick together.” Americans must know just how extremely powerful the Jewish Lobby is and how it operates to undermine America’s interests both at home and abroad. At home - by corrupting America’s political system, and abroad - by dictating American Foreign Policy against America’s best interests.

Here is a list of the major Jewish Lobby Groups & how they work:

American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC): AIPAC has a staff of over 150 employees and an annual budget of over $60 million Here derived from private contributions from wealthy Jews and Jewish-owned businesses. In other words, “money corrupts & Jewish money corrupts the American polictical system absolutely.”

~ AIPAC has many “PACS” attached to their Lobby. PACS are “Public Action Committees,” sanctioned by Federal Law, that give huge donations to political candidates. PACS are the means by which AIPAC and all Jewish lobbies utilize the immense wealth of Jewry to bribe US politicians. AIPAC is currently lobbying for the US to attack Iran Here & Here. AIPAC’s Executive Director is the powerful Anti-Christian Jew, Howard Kohr.

American Jewish Congress (AJC): Its antecedents began in 1918 when Woodrow Wilson’s “influential friends,” Rabbi Stephen Wise, (founder of AJC in 1930), and Judge Louis Brandeis, (co-founder), participated Here in the drafting of the infamous Versailles Treaty of 1919 which made unreasonable demands on Germany.

~ In the 1930’s, the AJC led a major boycott of German goods in America, which, among other provocations of the Jews, prompted a backlash against the Jews in Germany Here.

~ Currently, the AJC works with pandering Congressman and “bought” Senators like Senator Jeff Bingaman to push through Bills with Zionist agendas Here. The AJC also has many “PACS.” AJC’s Executive Director is the powerful Anti-Christian Jew, Neil B. Goldstein.

Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations: 51 of the largest Jewish organizations come together regularly Here under the umbrella group of the Conference. Their Mission Statement reads, “Forging diverse groups [there is no such as “diverse” in Jewry] into a unified force to foster the special US-Israel relationship” Here. The Conference also has many “PACS.” The Conferences’ Executive Chairman is the powerful Anti-Christian Jew, Malcolm I. Hoenlein.

Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA): Founded in 1976 by Jewish neocons Richard Perle & Eliot Abrams. Its mission is to promote US aid to Israel with military hardware. JINSA has its Jewish tentacles everywhere including the US Department of Defense Here.

~ JINSA has a formidable array of Washington power players on its rolls. Prior to Bush’s Presidency, JINSA’s Board of Advisers included Dick Cheney, Elliot Abrams (now the Deputy National Security Advisor for Global Democracy Strategy), John Bolton (now Under Secretary of State for Arms Control) and Douglas Feith, who was Bush’s third-highest-ranking executive in the Pentagon. Cheney, Abrams, and Bolton are still in power having as their well-connected supporters, the Jews of JINSA.

And, regarding our western traditions in America ... those are being eroded and maligned on a daily basis by people like you ... people like Jeremiah Wright ... by those with radical religious beliefs (that do not allow the worship of any religion but their own, even to the point of advocating violence and death) ... and, especially by those who come here from other countries who do not respect our culture, history or traditions. And, although I think that invading Iraq was a big mistake, that doesn’t mean that at this point in time, American and other western countries aren’t under a real threat of terrorism. If you can’t see that, then you are the fool! Regarding your comment about a few religious fanatics ... 16 of them brought down the twin towers and 3,000+ Americans. The nation of America was founded on Western values, and had lots of contributions from old Europe migrating to our great country. There was never a major Islamic influence in this region, and you are buying into a lie to think there are legions of jihadists just outside our boarders. I bet you also think if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama gets elected, all of the sudden the millions of Jihadists in Mexico will swarm through our country on their camels and wielding suicide bombs until half our country is dead, eh? You’re a melodramatic fool.

Terrorism can be fought efficiently without invading countries, but you can’t give additional fuel to these ideological insurgents by playing favorites with the people who are actively engaged in killing them.

Funny that I read some comment today about Brezinski aiding Afghanistan to bring soviets forces into the region and bleed them of resources. Well, because of fear mongering like you are spouting right now, our government has ceded our military and national sovereignty to a group of probably less than five thousand militants by using the same tactic against our country. Luring us into a meaningless war and endless occupation.

Thanks a lot for the Israel support and demonizing of Arab nations instead of peace resolutions. Nice feeling like a man on a mission instead of actually creating progress, eh? It’s people like you, and the neglect of our citizenry to adequately address our false government about the egregious sins of preemptive war and deceit!

While you people spout platitudes from your academic ivory towers ... the real world ... the world that enables you to have freedom of speech ... not have to wear burkas ... etc. is under constant threat from a coordinated Islamic group of countries, including the Palestinians. You people should kiss Israel’s ass for putting their lives on the line as America’s and democracy’s front line of defense ... I say, try living in these totalitarian theocracies for a year or two, if you’d even survive that long ... and then we can see the depth of your convictions.

By the way ... here’s an interesting story that came out today:

Hamas Cleric Predicts ‘Rome Will Be Conquered by Islam’

A sermon last Friday by a prominent Muslim cleric and Hamas member of the Palestinian parliament openly declared that “the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital,” would soon be conquered by Islam.

The fiery sermon, delivered by Yunis al-Astal and aired on Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV, predicted that Rome would become “an advanced post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread though Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, even Eastern Europe.”

“Allah has chosen you for Himself and for His religion,” al-Astal preached, “so that you will serve as the engine pulling this nation to the phase of succession, security and consolidation of power, and even to conquests through da’wa and military conquests of the capitals of the entire world.

“Very soon, Allah willing, Rome will be conquered, just like Constantinople was, as was prophesized by our prophet Muhammad,” he added.

Al-Astal last June preached how it was the duty of Palestinian women to martyr themselves by becoming homicide bombers.

“The most exalted form of jihad is fighting for the sake of Allah, which means sacrificing one’s soul by fighting the enemies head-on, even if it leads to martyrdom,” he said in a June 23, 2007 interview.

“When jihad becomes an individual duty, it applies to women too, because women do not differ from men when it comes to individual duties,” he said, calling Jews “the brothers of apes and pigs” who should “taste the bitterness of death.”

Friday’s rant repeated that theme: “Today, Rome is the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital, which has declared its hostility to Islam, and has planted the brothers of apes and pigs in Palestine in order to prevent the reawakening of Islam.

“I believe that our children, or our grandchildren, will inherit our jihad and our sacrifices, and, Allah willing, the commanders of the conquest will come from among them.

“Today, we instill these good tidings in their souls – and by means of the mosques and the Koran books, and the history of our Prophets, his companions, and the great leaders, we prepare them for the mission of saving humanity from the hellfire at whose brink they stand.”

Lots of rhetoric gets spat about. The officials in the Arab world are just like our government officials. Maintaining drum beats and propaganda, of which is often toothless saber rattling, to make them look strong. You have no idea what the real agenda is because we refuse to talk with the governments which don’t agree with our government’s policy. Real productive, eh? over fifty years of fighting over Israel because we arm all sides of the front, and don’t care about those who won’t immediately bend to corporate interests.

I’m not going to say one side is right and the other is wrong, but there is a lack of communication present in this situation which makes it real difficult to accurately assess what everyone wants.

RE: Jan Kees and Omop

The Palestinians have had several opportunities to establish their own society, however their own leaders, like Arafat have been corrupt, or they have been too busy fighting each other. However, putting that aside for a moment, I think the more obvious reality is that the Palestinians, as well as their arab and Persian neighbors embrace a more ominous agenda for Israel, which includes wiping Israel off the face of the earth. This conclusion is obvious from statements by Amadinajad, Hezbolah, and Hamas, just to mention a few ... not to mention attempts by all their neighbors to destroy Israel, by starting war after war, since their inception. And, for Omop to once again use the Jews as scapegoats would be laughable, if it wasn’t so sad. If you look at the aggression by Israel, it’s consistently a response to their neighbors firing rockets into their cities, sending suicide bombers into their civilian population, kidnapping their citizens, or starting full scale wars against Israel. The outrage, such as yours, always results from the fact that Israel is so worn from trying to survive, that they retaliate with greater measure than their attackers, when they once again get attacked, over and over again. I know it’s currently popular and politically correct to blindly defend the poor Palestinians now, no matter what the actual circumstances are. In addition ... The Palestinians, as well as their other Islamic supporters, engage in warfare by indiscriminately targeting civilian populations ... they even hide their soldiers, rocket launchers and artillery within civilian populations. While Israel and the U.S. always have to respond with surgical attacks in an effort to avoid collateral damage.

Lee says: “Unfortunately the only thing a terrorist organization like Hamas understands, or respects, is strength. Their values system does not respect the concept that in a humane society, the weakest are to be protected. The weak are simply cannon fodder for their religious/political objectives.”

Do you know what this is, Lee?  It’s projection.

Does either the US or Israel respect anything but strength (which, if you or I are on the receiving end we usually call violence)?

You overlook that several million Palestinian human beings, brothers and sisters of you and me, still yearn for a home after it’s been taken from them.  You’d yearn, I would too, if we were in the same situation.

“Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves ... politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves ... The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country.” —David Ben Gurion, quoted on pp. 91-92 of Chomsky’s “Fateful Triangle,” citing a 1938 speech.  Have we lost the ability to empathize with that?

Are Palestinians included in your ambit of concern for the weak?  They certainly are weak. They’ve been militarily weak since 1946 and before.  Who is “protecting” them?  Golda Meir paid them the ultimate insult, making them worse-than-weak, no longer people of concern because no longer people—

“It is not as if we came and threw them out and took their country. They didn’t exist.” —Golda Meir, “The Sunday Times,” 15 June, 1969.  “How can we return the occupied territories?  There is nobody to return them to.” —Golda Meir, March 8, 1969.

You speak of “value systems” and “humane society” with the assumption this applies to you-and-me but not to “them.”  So what are you referring to?  Suicide belts?  Or F-16s?  Can you see the violence, the broken value system, the inhumane society that kills by F-16s, even if its ours?  Are you saying maybe it doesn’t hurt so much when the violence falls from the sky?  Maybe the innocent are converted to guilty when the violence falls from the sky?  It’s not terror when the violence falls from the sky?

I think Palestinians are thoroughly human in wanting freedom as much as you and I do.  That Hamas’s organization is one of the last vehicles by which some hope to achieve freedom is in part a sad sign of how badly Israeli strength, supported by US strength,  has smashed all the alternatives, rather than sought protection, freedom, compensation.

If Carter can get the US to use its strength differently, to recognize the humanity of the over-stereotyped “enemy,” that can change things for those who need protection as well.  Whether in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan (under the Soviets or under NATO), Bosnia, Tibet or Darfur, the strong, the oppressor, the occupier, always has to move first.  The weak have nothing more to lose.

Marshall, I think there is a lack of perspective on the issue. These people are in small guerrilla conflicts with parts of Israel’s armed forces. There is death on all sides. No one is happy. There is reason to believe groups like Hamas don’t necessarily seek the destruction of Israel so much as they seek justice for Palestinians. The validity of their means and beliefs can be debated, but I’m certain if there was a multi-lateral discussion an agreement could come to fruition. Might not last forever, but every step forward brings us further away from violence and genocide.

Check out a few of the neighbors’ governments:  Jordan’s not pro-American?  Saudi Arabia is not?  Egypt isn’t?  UAE?  Qatar? Bahrain?  They are all so pro-American that we have military agreements of one sort or another with them, send them weapons, and most of them furnish bases for the US.

And if Israel keeps illegally settling its occupied territories (“illegal” according to UN, US, and just about all of the rest of the world) and thereby defeats US efforts to create a balanced peace, that’s “pro-American” too?

1) You didn’t answer my question, which leads me to believe your idea of a terrorist is anyone our government isn’t currently paying or controlling.

2) Just because there are organizations who are “anti-Israel” and “anti-American” doesn’t mean it isn’t an unchangeable sentiment. These are ideologies, intangible and fleeting.

3) What exactly is anti-American about favoring negotiations and understanding those who are angry with our government’s policies?

4) Trying to scare me, or anyone else, into hating and provoking violence with thousands of people is an immoral distraction from finding real solutions. Unless, of course, solutions to you means genocide in the name of righteousness because there isn’t much other way to get a resolution at the end of a gun.

5) The real world is not something you are familiar with if it is beyond your comprehension to see cease fire and peace talks as solutions because EVERYONE who is involved with Israel/Palestine on an intimate level feels way too strongly to competently solve their grievances.

6) Your lack of perspective from all sides of this complex web of social and political unrest disqualifies your opinions as ideology.

I’m not afraid to be an American, and I’m not afraid of our “enemies.” Courage is standing up against fears, not cowering into violent retorts, which solve nothing if you can’t completely wipe out your enemy. Since there is no way we’re going to nuke several countries without serious war with the rest of the world, our practical options for resolution are few.

It is not as if Carter is going to be shipping weapons the way that Reagan did with Iran.

Re: Aegrus

You forgot to mention that unlike it’s neighbors, Israel is PRO AMERICAN.
And, the fact that you need someone to tell you what a terrorist is, simply reveals how billions of American dollars sent to the pro-Palestinian middle east for oil, is now coming back to indoctrinate those (like you) with anti-American sympathies against our allies. The Palestinians, and the surrounding countries’ real agenda is the destruction of Israel ... and, under the surface, these same people would welcome the downfall of the United States ... that’s why they danced in the streets the day after 911. Furthermore, Aegrus, as an American, if you went to Israel, life would be pretty similar to your life here ... except for the Palestinian rockets and suicide bombers ... however, if you visited the Palestinians, or the other countries surrounding Israel, you’d probably come back without your head ... that’s what terrorism is. Aegrus, your pseudo intellectual rhetoric ... and, your political catch phrases, like ‘classic neo conservative’  simply reveal your misunderstanding of how the real world works ... and, your unawareness of the fact that Hamas is a terrorist organization who would just as soon kill you and your entire family, as look at you. This arguement goes beyond Israel and the Palestinians, it’s a choice between the 12th century barbarism of terrorist theocracies and civilization.

Why don’t you explain what a terrorist is? It’s pretty naive to believe Israel wouldn’t be an aggressor. Classic neo-conservative rhetoric. Sacrifice for Israel! Israel can do no wrong!

Personally, I don’t have any opinions about the Middle-East or Israel’s existence therein. I am, however, tired of listening to the pro-Israel neo-cons pretending there is justification and righteousness in everything the Israeli government does. All of the support amounts to being pro-violence, pro-oppression and pro-distraction.

As long as one side of an argument is immunized to skepticism, no side can win. In this case, thousands die because of this arrogance. Shame on you.

So, now Jimmy Carter wants to negotiate with terrorists. Unfortunatey the only thing a terrorist organization like Hammas understands, or respects, is strength. Their values system does not respect the concept that in a humane society, the weakest are to be protected. The weak are simply cannon fodder for their religious/polical objectives. Memory is short ... don’t you remember how the Palestinians danced in the streets to celebrate the 3000+ Americans who were exterminated in the world trade center? Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel ‘s part, the following two sentences really say it all. ‘If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel’ - BB. (Benjamin Netanyahu)

Seeing how the State Department wants to ignore everything against their agenda, I don’t see any reason why Jimmy or anyone else should give a second thought to any of their concerns or criticisms. They whined when Pelosi went to talk with Syria too. Whole lot of babies they are.

Of course, all this really adds up to is more distrust of government’s ability to function, which helps all Neo-Conservative Republicans get elected. There is a quote which goes something like this,

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”

But I think the more frightening set of words goes something like this:

“Government can’t work, elect me into office.”

Good ole Jimmy is the Energizer Bunny of peace. Purple Girl has it right—he is the last great and honorable statesman we have. He is a man that has taken Public Service to new levels. Wish we had ten more just like him, because that’s about how many it would take to reverse—or attempt to reverse—the damage done to the world stage by The Bush Gang.

He was my first presidential vote, and the last one I TRULY felt proud of. The rest have been little more than rationalization.

Amazing that any time anyone and in this case an ex-Pes. of the USA attempts to humanize relations between Israel and her neighbors most all of whom existed prior to it become a state in 1948 is condemned and accused of being anti-semitic.

One need only recall what an American Jesuit priest is quoted as saying when ever he heard the statement that israel was America’s only ally in the Middle East. To wit: “Prior to the creation of Israel we had no enemies in the Middle East”.

Given the amount of billions of taxpayers moneys given yearly to Israel peace with the Palestenians or any other Arab state would be a money losing proposition for the Zionists in Israel.

What is the ‘P” word that sends Zionists and Likudnuts everywhere into a hysterical rage?  The “P” word is Peace.  Peace or rather the prospect of peace sends Zionists and Likudnuts into a frenzy, running away from that word or that prospect as if it was laden with a fresh batch of plague from the Israel Institute of Biological Research, near Tel Aviv.

This is the mindset of America’s “only” friend in the ME, Israel. A mindset that is set on continuous war, as long as American money, weapons and in the case of Iraq, American troops are used to help prop up the racist and Apartheid State of Israel.

One of Israel’s bestest friends, the tragically inept buffoon Secretary of State Condi Rice, has joined this chorus of well trained parakeets, mouthing whatever line her Tel Aviv puppet masters tell her to, since above all else, whatever is done in regards to peace in the ME, whatever else is done, we must NOT talk to all parties trying to secure peace for Occupied Palestine.

Peace or even talk of peace is an idea repugnant to Zionists, who only prefer to talk in their standard mode, by letting the barking sounds of a .50 caliber machine gun, tearing thru the intestines of a pregnant mother in Hebron, letting those lethal projectiles talk all day long by letting Palestinians know just exactly what Zionists think of Peace.

Or by letting the crumping explosion of a not so smart bomb, letting that sound express Zionist thoughts, as it blows apart a refugee camp in Gaza, that kind of talk the Zionists will gleefully engage in all day long.

Or by letting the scream and subsequent thudding blast of a 155 mm artillery shell blowing apart a Palestinian family, trying to enjoy a day at the beach, letting that very deadly piece of twisted metal do all the talking the Israeli’s plan to do in regards to Peace in Palestine.

These are the only types of conversations the Zionists are willing to hold with the constantly under siege Palestinians.

That is, until all the Palestinians are either murdered, forcibly moved or starved to death by the world’s “most” moral army, the IDF.

How can we deny the need to negotiate peace if we refuse to speak to both sides?
Frankly I am over playing Big Brother for the Isreali Gov’t- 64% of isreali Citizens think there must be a conversation with Hamas included. No kidding- They don’t want to get killed anymore going to the store!
The Problem with the World is not the People- it’s the self serving Profiteers who reside in Gov’t- ALL GOV’Ts. It’s either money (power) or Egomania which perpetuates the violence around the world- Ours, Isreals, hamas, AQ…..When your friends and neihgbors are being killed, one must ask themselves, how are these ‘leaders’ enjoying their ‘Cognac’ this evening- safe and warm in their Palaces? It amazes me that those who ‘support ’ such Regimes fail to see their ‘leaders’ total Disregard for their ‘people’. Think binny thinks twice about what his actions have brought down upon the people of the ME? No, and I doubt he lives in a cave- dialysis is required a few times a week-he’s either dead, or back at home safe & sound in Saudi Arabia- home of the majority of the High jackers and his Filthy rich family.Binny is an Elitist, Pleased so many are willing to die for his EGO.Much like OUR Pres & VP, and the Inc’s they Work for.Common factor- Oil & the Saudi’s (playing bothsides against the middle (masses)?
President Carter was kneecapped by way of the Iran Contra scandal- Arms for Hostages. And Which in this Admin were also in Ronny’s Shadow Gov’t? Idon’t buy the entire Conspiracy Theory behind 9/11, bu tconsidering the Auto & oil inudstry refused to get out of the ME when we told them to in the’70’s,Loss of Jobs, dwindling Economy, squelching any earlier attempts at alternative fuels and the seizing of our Rights & Freedom since- I gotta think there is something to their Theory.
Frankly remarks against, or disregard for Pres Carter is my current Lipmus Test for Alleigiences. Honestly I see the Dem Party ‘leaders’ as corrupt as the Repugs- their current Inactions make me re think many of my old Perspections, including Conspiracy Theories
