Dalai Lama Shows Support for OlympicsPosted on Apr 10, 2008
Speaking from Japan, the Dalai Lama told reporters that he has supported the Beijing Olympics “right from the beginning,” but that protesters have a right to voice themselves. His government in exile, however, released a statement in opposition to the demonstrations that have followed the Olympic torch.

I have wrote to our government many times with their Stupid comments dirrected to China and other countries. They say and do as they like with no look into what they themselves are so guilty of. I am Ashamed of their actions and words. They are only self serving for what fits the minute and can not see they are guilty of many crimes and do what they complain is unfair in other countries. My sincerest apologies for there stubborn ignorance and disregarded to all that they hope for democracy and can not find their own way in America. We should be so lucky here
What the Hell gives Codilisa Rice the Authority to speak of religious freedoms and Rights to China when My Gov. Allow me to Married a Wonderful Chinese lady and now you My Gov will not let her come to me after 3 years saying I am to poor to have my wife join me here in America, Show this to Rice and her spokes persons. To Polosky House Speaker,
Please have you ever been to China ? You are more Cancerous to our Diplomacy than Bush. Read my thoughts and realize that these people in China and the Major Population in China love their Country and their Gov. and you are throwing rotten assaults at them as well a the Gov. and country they love. To defended rioters in the streets is to say you support chaos and unrule.
It is very important to notice the rhetoric from the White House and thereof at times the people here are looking at their problems. A deflection of what is really going on.
God help you on Capital Hill and your business dealings rather that the Safer and security of our people at you greedy indecision’s for Corporate America. Our Children will finnish Colege to find no jobs because of H-1 Visa. This is worse than outsourcing for our people that broke their backs to give their children a chance for a good job!
Bad diplomacy is all I see from the Hill are making problems hurling knee jerk reactions instead of taking care of business here.
China’s country is much more peaceful than America and do not wage war with every thought that cross’s there mind.
Our country is in trouble and The Hill yells at other to distract from our own faults and problems. Our country has not solved any problems only created them and more and you are doing the same again. I suggest you apologize to the Chinese people.
Corruption is ramped in American Gov, Conflicts of Interest to invest in War Stocks at a all time high by our politician’s in Congress. Clean you own House America.
If you American Gov allows the torch to be attacked and or put out, it was our Gov that allowed it to happen.!!! You do not tell the people the facts and you allow bad thing to happen for the Governments interest not the people best interest of the WORLD.

Quote: “We are not anti-Chinese…. Right from the beginning, we supported the Olympic Games.”..... Speaking of pro-Tibetan protesters, he said nobody “has the right to tell them to shut up.”
Don’t forget that Tibetans are closer to their Chinese brothers and sisters than anyone else in this argumentative issue. But the Dalai Lama is actually losing control of his own people….......
The problem is not so much with the Dalai Lama or his senior monks or the leaders of his government-in-exile. He/they have actually tried diligently to complete their long-term goal of obtaining co-operation form the PRC (Peoples’ Republic of China).
What has happened since last month has become an ill-advised and ill-timed attempt at revolution and independence instigated from both within Tibetans in Tibet and within Tibetan refugees and expatriates in India, Nepal and elsewhere in the West.
The illusion was that by trying to influence (a) the elections in Taiwan, then (b) the Olympic torch runs, the independence movement would somehow succeed could only have been attempted with the covert assistance of other factors in the West, especially as regards the false news coverage by Western media.
In actual fact, they have forgotten that the most significant threat to Tibet is from those in the West who would support a never-ending expansion of the war in Iraq through Afghanistan into Pakistan and Kashmir - and on to Tibet and the Uigher region in far Western China.
The purpose is NOT peace or “freedom” or Buddhism or even Tibetan “independence” or anything other than constant regional turmoil to continuously pressure China and maintain the USA’s and NATO’s self-serving influence.
From the explosive article Don’t Stop the Revolution! by Tibetan Jamyang Norbu…........
Dharamshala’s hope, of course, is that if the crisis is stopped it could go back trying to negotiate with Beijing. In spite of all that has happened in Tibet our leaders completely fail to see that this will never happen. It is far too late for anyone, even Beijing, to stop this revolution. Samdhong Rimpoche and his Solidarity Committee can no more stop it than they can stop a tsunami by standing before it…....
To my leaders in the exile government (which will always be for me the true government of Tibet) I say this with due respect but also with genuine concern: Step out of the way. http://www.phayul.com/news/article.aspx?id=20330

The national Endowment for Democracy funds the Dali Lama and the Tibetan Opposition. From 1995-2000 THE NED gave 2,047,479. to the opposition tibetan publications, radio stations, ngo’ et al. The Dali Lama and his supporters have been on teh CIA payrolls since the 50’s. The international Campaign for Tibet, The Tibet fund, The TIbet voice project, the Tibet info netword, literary society. trust society, Voice of Tibet, all funded by NED, which is funded by the State Dept and CIA. Liberals take note. The Dali Lama gets a 180 stipend from the CIA. The Actor Richard Gere is also implicated in this, he is the Chair for the interantional campaign for Tibet, another front. THere much more a good is out there about this by K Conboy called “the cia’s secret war in Tibet” Many liberals are jumping on the Tibet bandwagon without being totally informed on this issue, jumping to conclusions has dire consquences as we have seen
