Lieberman In DeclinePosted on Apr 7, 2008
While he continues to get tremendous support from Republicans (go figure), Joe Lieberman is on the outs with Democrats and independents in his home district, according to a new poll. Were an election held today, 74 percent of Democrats would vote for Ned Lamont, while the same percentage of Republicans would vote for Lieberman over their own candidate.

By dick, April 8 at 10:01 am # The Senator from the State of Israel, is no different than the other 534 members of Congress, except he is more up-front about it, and has the support of his electorate and millions of voters elsewhere.
By weather, April 9 at 1:53 am # Re:There is nothing “up-front” about LIEberman - he’s merely the beneficiary of a MSM myth that goes through utter contortions to shape a PR campaign that says America has a ‘special relationship’ w/Israel. What could have been one of the coolest places on the Planet is now held in Global contempt just like us - now that’s sad, sick and Ugly. Israel is a land mine of bad karma.
By Jim Yell, April 8 at 6:44 am # The Trojan WhoreIf this man has done any service to the nation and his state it is to spotlight the dangers of an elected public official who feels, having once been elected that he is entitled to office forever.
By DennisD, April 8 at 6:32 am # 20/20 hindsight“Were an election held today, 74 percent of Democrats would vote for Ned Lamont” Too fu*king late CT. - you blew it and our country is paying the price.
By Christopher Robin, April 8 at 5:12 am # The interesting thing was Lieberman won with the help of a similar demographic that Hillary now enjoys, non-college educated. The Republicans ran an utter fool that wasn’t seriously viable, the vast majority of Republicans voted for Lieberman, many Independents and the uneducated Dems. If the election was among just Democrats, Lamont would have won. Anyway we’re stuck with him, as we have no recall provision here in CT. If you want a little fun, a small regional newspaper “The Day” recently apologized their endorsement of him.....I think it was too embarrassing to support him, while Lieberman whispers in McCain’s hearing aid? The text of the editorial is below on DemocraticUnderground.com , the newspaper’s link no longer displays the story. “ We Don’t Know This Sen. Joe ” Continues:
By Pacrat, April 7 at 3:46 pm # Liebermouse a louse?Poor little Joe. How dare he abandon his voters without notifying them? Why didn’t he have the guts to announce becoming a republican, even though it would have cost him the election. Then he threw in his lot with McCain and abandoned his so-called principles even further. Of course, Gore was mistaken to think that bringing him on as vp candidate would win the Jewish vote, but that’s not the only mistake in Gore’s life. Enough about that already. Liebermouse should be dumped by both political parties!
By Rodney, April 7 at 1:57 pm # Joe Liberman is a puppet for the Government of Israel. Add Your Comment |
