Harry Reid: ‘It Will Be Done’Posted on Mar 26, 2008
In a cryptic conversation with a Las Vegas paper, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said the Democratic nomination would be resolved before the convention: “It will be done.” “Magically?” the reporter asked. “No, it will be done,” Reid repeated. “I had a conversation with Governor Dean today. Things are being done.” What that means is anyone’s guess, but it’s no secret that the Democratic leadership is worried about a protracted battle between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

By Eric L Prentis, March 27 at 8:29 am # The Way ForwardSen. Barack Obama should make a unifying offer of the vice presidency to Sen. Hillary Clinton which should be accepted without condition. This will demonstrate the candidates’ willingness to compromise and put America first; Hillary will almost certainly be the first woman vice president and Barack will gain a well connected adviser and effective running mate. The Democratic party will then be much stronger, being freed from the current devastating infighting, to unite against the Republicans who plan a very spirited campaign.
By itsafreakingame, March 27 at 6:21 am # First of all it wasn’t the Clintons that injected racism into the election it was the media taking everything out of context that Bill Clinton said. Obama enjoyed this when it was the Clintons being targeted over race, and loved it when the race card was working in his favor. Second of all the Clintons did not make Obama go to a church for 20 years that spewed hate against Jews and white people, he did that on his own. Obamaholics are always spinning things rather then looking at the facts. Obama goes to a church that hates white people without denouncing it, takes his wife there, gets married there, takes his children there, has them baptized there and Obamaholics still believe he didn’t know what was being preached by the Rev. Wright his personal mentor. If the American people believe that Obama is ignorant of the preaching that went on at the Trinity Church then we have to assume that Obama either slept though the sermons or was just to dumb to know that they would be controversial, either way it doesn’t bold well for Obama’s claim on great judgment. Please answer this question if Clinton went to a church that preached hatred of any race got married there took her children there had them baptized there wouldn’t she be labeled as a racist, and denounced in the Democratic party? Obama is getting a free pass on being a racist because he is black, and that should not be tolerated. Add Your Comment |
