Miss Bimbo
missbimbo.com

Little Miss Trouble: One of the site’s creators claims “Miss Bimbo” is “structured in such a way that it simply mirrors real life in a tongue-in-cheek way. ... The missions and goals for the bimbos are morally sound and teach children about the real world.”  Hmmm ...

Things were already mighty grim for girls in terms of media-generated role models, but the online game “Miss Bimbo” represents a new low. Based on a script concocted by “lads,” Miss Bimbo challenges girl gamers to master the art of bodily manipulation via dieting and plastic surgery to—what else?—hook a man.

Times Online:

Users are set targets:

Level 7
After you broke up with your boyfriend you went on an eating binge! Now it’s time to diet ... Your target weight is less than 132lbs

Level 9
Have a nip and tuck operation for a brand new face. You’ve found work as a plus-size model. To gain those vivacious curves, you need to weigh more than 154lbs

Level 10
Summertime is coming up and bikini weather is upon us. You want to turn heads on the beach don’t you?

Level 11
Bigger is better! Have a breast operation

Level 17
There is a billionaire on vacation ... You must catch his eye and his love! Good luck.

Its actually ridiculous how much the media go crazy over slagging off this game. All the coverage of the game has just made it even more popular and advertised it to thousands of other people. I myself found the game and play on it due to seeing it all over the news. Each article states how the players are around 7 and 11 years old which is totally wrong because the majority are players are 14 and go way past their 20s. The website also tells you about the surgery not being real and is a big real life choice which involves alot of consideration. People who slag off surgery on the website that isnt real then they have issues because they should go and slag off celebrites who have REAL surgery. No girl would have the character as a role model and aspire to be just like her and dress just like her. None of these articles mention how the character goes to the libary to study to get a better job and thats because they just want to make it look bad. At the end of the day surgery is a personal choice anyway. If something about you is depressing you that much then are you just meant to stay depressed forever? No. If you want a facelift then go get one, everybody knows the consequences and if it makes you feel better about yourself then its fine. People should just know not to take surgery to far. And anyway if kids are considering surgery by the time they are old enough to get it they probably wont even consider getting it.

Read the above article to get the REAL story on MaBimbo.com. As a Miss Bimbo player, I can honestly say there is nothing harmful about the site as long as one doesn’t take it seriously…which anyone over the age of 13 should be able to do, and since it’s not MEANT for people over 13, there shouldn’t be any problem. Stop overreacting. If your kid is dieting “because of this site”, then it’s your own fault for not teaching them proper morals and values. Stop blaming your own shortcomings on a harmless internet game.

i can see why everyone is fussing but im a regular player of the game and i love it. with 1 155 391 players it cant be that bad. if parents are that concerned they should just monitor there childrens internet activity, not ruin it for all of the other children who enjoy the innocent game. i dont see why there is so much fuss about this site when there is sites like porn on the net free for children to veiw. i understand why adults may be concerned but it isnt all bad, you have to reach a high IQ, get jobs and earn money. i love the game and think if there is any concern then parents should monitor what there children do, not be so selfish as to ruin the game for others who enjoy it.

i have been playing miss bimbo for about half a year…ever since i heard about it on the news…im a feminist and i find the game hilarious…and thats the intent of this site…its obvious…those of you who “tried” it, meaning didnt make it past level one approached it with harsh feelings towards it already…no one on the site is going to have a “bimbo” as a role model!!! the goals are light hearted and are intended to poke fun at girls who act like that…just look at the wording! honestly…people are making a big deal out of nothing…i love miss bimbo and im probably one of the biggest feminists you will ever meet…and the site does NOT target 9 year olds like everyone says…the majority of users are in their twenties at least! its intended to be a joke…the word “bimbo” is a derrogatory term so i highly doubt anyone would take it as a role model…its not encouraging girls to be like that…its a joke! get a sense of humor! until youve made it a few levels in dont go bashing my favorite game…one which most of you havent even played…if any thing it discourages girls to be like that…dont make your opinions misinformed!

Does this website really exist? If it does, then it’s just horrible. Regardless of the intention of the creator(s), many young girls will actually come to believe that those things are really the acceptable way of life. Sad fact, but some kids are that dumb. Though in their defense, it’s partly their parents’ fault.

I am a BBW myself. We BBW BHM are very proud of our size. I have known many plus sized people at the dating site ***http://LargeSingle.com***, where you can find many Sexy, Curvy, Classy Women, open minded plus couples, hot big guys, also nice fat admirers, even some celebs.

I realize it isn’t in good form to “advertise” your site in comments you leave, but in this case I feel justified—apologies all around BUT…

There are options to Miss Bimbo.  There are great, age-appropriate sites for preteen girls.  Check out http://www.beaconstreetgirls.com

This is positive media with strong role models for preteen girls.  Girls post (safely, all monitored) comments on things like: Are we too old for Halloween?  What’s the appropriate age for wearing makeup?  They discuss friendship and social issues, even cyber-bullying and Internet gossip.  Yes, the site has fashion content and dress-up games, puzzles and quizzes, but it is all stuff that any reasonable parent is going to be OK with.

Meanwhile, I have been seeing the Miss Bimbo story everywhere—sad that it is so hard to get that same visibility for a site that does girls some good.

The good news is that the girls using such software have brains; the same brain that tells her/them not to get into the car with a drunk-driver. A bigger problem (not for me personally) is the Girls Gone Wild promotions every night on TV. These ads portray to the world that Americans are, at core, worthless slobs. The teen girls viewing the tapes also start accepting the idea that cheapening their bodies and their dignity will bring them needed attention in a coldly commercial society.
I am still opposed to gov censorship of any kind but it might help if parents, especially mothers, gave the girls a sense of importance based on the kid’s own better qualities.

How right you are.  I laugh all the time at most of the people on this site.  I am now waiting to see how long before this Miss Bimbo stuff is blamed on George Bush and the Zionist Jews.  HAHAHAHA

It’s SATIRE, you wanker idiots!
The fact that you retards can not even see this is the reason people laugh at YOU.

Once again, I have to say education is the only way to address these social quirks. This kind of reporting is akin to celebrity worship. Holds no baring on real-life. You want to mock conventional values and point your finger at the degeneration of the ethical fabric of society? Fine.

I choose to lead by example, though, and not stare in awe at what the people I’m supposedly so different from are doing. All this kind of discussion just fuels the fact Americans like us are often just confused with the world. It’s a poor side-effect I have thankfully avoided in my life.
