I think it’s because they DO NOT have enough evidence to try them in a real court. Once that ‘evidence’ starts to be questioned under a real system, it all falls apart.

We only THINK there’s evidence, because they’ve been TELLING us that there is ‘evidence’ for the past 6 years. But, there’s not any independent corroboration of ANYTHING the US government claims…zilch, nada, zip, nothing.

ZERO ‘evidence’ from the scenes of the crimes. It was all hauled away, or destroyed in the explosions. Not even photos left of the alledged Pentagon strike.

So, all of the ‘evidence’ is only what they’ve told us. Has anybody seen any ‘evidence’ that I haven’t been able to find? I mean, I’ve been looking, and I can’t find a single solitary thing that would confirm in my mind, that 19 Arabs highjacked 4 commercial jetliners and disappeared the aircraft and the passengers, and the cargo, leaving not a single trace behind.

They’re down to 275 detainees at Guantanamo now, so they’re getting there. At least 1,400 have been through the facility, and of course the lying but unfortunately NOT burning bush has claimed long ago, that there were NO ‘innocent’ men at Gitmo. So, I guess all but 275 guilty terrorists have been released on their own recognizance.

But, there was never a plan to close the place. Rather, it’s been consistently ‘upgraded’ over the past 6 years. Since the money has been spent anyway, might as well keep it open to house the real perpetrators, as soon as we can get them out of the White House and the Greater District of Cheney vicinity.

Meantime, 6 plus years after the fact, and the real perpetrators haven’t even been incarcerated, let alone charged with anything. They’re still living it up on our nickels, and still robbing us blind…

And, since KSM has LITERALLY confessed to everything under ALL of the planets, and every single instance of global terrorism for the past 2 decades, (I just finished downloading all of the charges, as well as some of his many ‘admissions’) it would just sort of ‘seem’ like they could have done this a while back, eh?

So, a language problem…more like the deadline coming up to get all of these scapegoats officially declared on the record, for whatever a US military tribunal record is worth under this farce of an administration.

And, speaking of ‘language’..notice how they claim there will be no ‘secret trials’, because everything will be as ‘open’ AS POSSIBLE. And then, “‘RELATIVELY” little amounts of evidence will be classified.”

And then, I open any one of the documents on the charges, and 11 out of the first 15 lines of the thing have the word..REDACTED, REDACTED, REDACTED..more than a dozen times.

So, here we are, 6 plus years after the ‘crime’ was solved, we’re gonna have us some trials.

And, we’re supposed to believe every single word that KSM says, after he’s been tortured shitless and senseless, and probably didn’t start out all that right in the head to begin with.

To highlight just a couple of the reasons why these six will not (and never) be tried in federal court is because much of the evidence amassed against them was derived thru torture. The gov’t as much as admitted that Kahlid had been waterboarded.
Evidence derived thru torture would be quashed in pretial motions.
Hearsay evidence would also be inadmissiable.

So these trails won’t be secret and will be as open as possible to the extent that the fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth admendments do not apply to the accused.

Under the Bush view of the constitution those accused of crimes are afforded constitutional protections to assure a fair trial except in the cases where Bush says they don’t apply.

That the six are transparantly guilty makes the actions by the Bush administration all the more irrational.

GB, they are all a bunch of, criminally insane, horse thieves!
