Lieberman Says He Won’t Run With McCainPosted on Jan 29, 2008
Joe Lieberman, an “Independent Democrat,” staunchly supports the Iraq war, has voted to throw away billions on defense boondoggles, generally gravitates toward all things Republican and has endorsed GOP presidential candidate John McCain, but he draws the line at running alongside McCain as a vice president candidate. Lieberman says that if asked to join a ticket, he would tell McCain, “You can find much better.” For once, Joe, we agree with you.

Old sly fox, that Liberman is, singing at the top of his lungs, McCain is winning, McCain is winning, Mcain is winning, or “falling,” and he is running to his senate chambers.

Why run for V.P. when he can stay in the Senate and continue his pro-Israel agenda unabashed. Who needs the extra scrutiny, especially when he has at least two more years of helping define policy.

Gee, Pacrat, read “The Wreck of the Hesperus” and (talking about the economy) see what the captain did with his ship then, uhh.......
...the tragic consequences of a sea captain’s foolish pride. On an ill-fated voyage in the winter, he had his daughter aboard ship for company. The disaster came when the captain ignored the advice of one of his experienced men, who feared that a storm was approaching....
The breakers were right beneath her bows,
She drifted a dreary wreck,
And a whooping billow swept the crew
Like icicles from her deck.
She struck where the white and fleecy waves
Looked soft as carded wool,
But the cruel rocks, they gored her side
Like the horns of an angry bull.
Her rattling shrouds, all sheathed in ice,
With the masts went by the board;
Like a vessel of glass, she stove and sank,
Ho! ho! the breakers roared!

Lieberman has been one of the Senate’s strongest advocates for continued prosecution of the Iraq War. He is also a consistent supporter of Israel.......
The main problem is not the American Jewish Committee (AJC) which is a normal organization representing an ethnic minority, the Jews. http://www.ajc.org/
Report thisIt is the unofficial front for the militarist-expansionist Israeli state known as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) which is usurping Americans good will to extort as much cold hard cash and diplomatic priveleges and political promises and military support as it possibly can. http://www.aipac.org/
An examination of their websites clearly indicates that one (the AJC) is a community organization supporting the welfare of American Jews whilst the other (AIPAC) is a radical Zionist political organization promoting the welfare of the Israeli state regardless of the expense to the people of the USA and regardless of its support for terrorist activities and the persecution of minorities and its neighbours and threats of the use of nuclear WMD’s in the region.

Now that’s what I call a balanced ticket.

The only place Lieberman and McCain should run is off the nearest cliff face…
Seriously, Joe, we’re not shedding any tears.
Peace.

Jeez, go directly to AP if you must, but displaying Breitbart as an AP story source is giving credence to a rightwing organization that has become even more (if that’s possible) rightwing in the past 6 months.
Questioning that? Just take a look at the list of blogs, forums, & networks it supports. You surely don’t see Truthdig (or anything remotely close) listed there.
Thanks for a bit more consideration next time, even though the story was good.

McCain, the ancient Mariner, is relieved that Lieberman won’t run with him. Lieberman would be an albatross, just like he was for Gore. What a sad excuse for a senator!

Hey Joe, you really screwed the people of your state. You couldn’t win as a democrat so you changed. But you speak with fork tongue. You play both ends of the parties. Ok Joe traitor don’t worry because I think democrats will get the mojority in the senator and all the other senator can tell you to take a long walk off the short bridge. I hope the people of your state recall you. You are a disgrace. I for one am glad you are not a democrat anymore.
