During his just-completed tour of the Middle East, President Bush made no secret of his belief that Iran poses the biggest threat to the security of the region and beyond, but Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has his own ideas about Bush’s statements and Mideast allegiances, which he was equally willing to air on the heels of Bush’s visit.

BBC:

Mr Ahmadinejad said Mr Bush had brought a “message of confrontation” during his tour, during which he warned Arab allies that Iran posed a threat.

In an interview with al-Jazeera TV, the Iranian leader also said Israel “would not dare” attack Iran.

He spoke as Israel announced it had test-fired a ballistic missile.

Reports in the Israeli media said the long-range missile was aimed at intercepting aerial threats against the Jewish state.

<<Thus, what IS the garbage that “Tehran could have a nuclear bomb by 2010” but the reality is that Israel has a nuclear missile NOW??? Perhaps, then, the imagined rabbit is really some kind of voracious reptile?!?!>>

Douglas, in a convoluted twist of logic, I have to agree with your Godzilla-lizard metaphor, relating to Israel.

Remembering that Israel, in turn, does have at its full disposal the backing of the U.S. military arsenal, laden with its own flavor of psychotic nightmares; headed up by the trigger-happy, crusading lone-ranger, commander in chief of massive force, with his side kick neo-con warriors, capable of dislodging dark, lurking shadows from underneath each and every unturned stone. Yes, the murky oligarchs do play these sentimental violins strings with precision and gusto.

I do feel for the Iranian and Palestinian people, as well as Israel. These poor souls have had their psyches so tortured, tormented, twisted and exploited by the equally barbarous ego of the early Roman Church, including the currently xenophobic, fundamentalist branches which have sprouted from it.

It’s a wonder anyone is even capable of delineating up from down anymore. The church has shed so much blood, inflicted so much psychic trauma and now, the egocentric corporate empire of the military establishment, sits poised, with blind intention, ready to blast these ghosts into kingdom come!?!

Who can dream without nightmares? In this episode, the frightened rabbit has now morphed into a psychotic, caped, battalion of crusading lizards from outer-space. Poised to save the world from their self induced afflictions!!! What nightmares they do weave, to secure their realm in flesh!!

If only Constantine had not asserted his bloody domineering ego into the cauldron, perhaps we wouldn’t have this bloody mess today, for it is at these cross-roads the current nightmare began.

Towards the end of the 18th Dynastic period of Akhenaton’s Egypt, Israel, traumatized from a self inflicted wound, subconsciously sought to sever itself from their Egyptian roots and heritage, distancing the mind from the psychological trauma incurred from the event. This needs to be confronted, healed and reconciled with.

Anyone who has studied the well researched works of ‘Ahmed Osman’ will see and understand that all of the biblical patriarchs were Egyptian Pharaohs, from Tuthmosis III - aka David, down to Akhenaton. Their center of worship was centered on Heliopolis, the biblical city, Onn. Tutankhamun, born: Tutankhaton, was the son of Akhenaton. This is the scarlet thread, the dirty little secret in the ‘victors’ church history.

Osman’s comparative analysis of both early Egyptian /Jewish epic historical events and characters, ties many, otherwise, incomprehensible threads logically and intuitively together. His research sheds much light onto, dispersing, some strongly held age old myths, and like the grain of sand lodged within the flesh of a clam, has become very much of an irritant to those closely held myths.

Akhenaton was a religious iconoclast of the highest order, tossing the old Egyptian religious establishment onto its head, resulting in violent upheaval. Narrow minded in his Atonist pursuits, he became vilified, and bitterly despised by all the other Egyptians he had marginalized, branding everyone else as unacceptable. Retaining only the nomen (Moses) of the great house unto which he was born (Tuthmoses III), Akhenaton position became untenable. Forced to flee his throne, along with his entourage of followers, while settling in the Sinai region, his throne was passed to his son, Tutankhaton.

Tutankhaton, having perceived the error of his father, held out an olive branch of reconciliation to those his father had relegated as unimportant. In symbolic demonstration to his appeal, Tutankhaton changed the namen of his name from Aton (the sun disk) to Amun (the hidden). For this infraction, his fathers’ high priest, Phinehas (Pinhas; Panehasy), slew the boy king. Israel has never forgiven itself for this trauma that had fallen upon them. Instead, they fled, psychologically severing all bridges behind them.

Had it only ended here, at this point, it may not have not have manifested into the daemons of today. If only Constantine had not rubbed salt into the already metastasizing wound, exacerbating the trauma by mythologizing it and weaving his own drama around it, giving birth to the religious predations which then ensued from the Roman throne. In this, the inherited trauma and xenophobia of the Atonist followers of Moses, was passed alone, now cloaked in a new garb, suited only to satisfy new imperial cravings. Following Constantine’s ascension to the throne, his first order of the day was to have his own son executed. On his deathbed Constantine remained a true Atonist, ensconced in his epithet: Sol In Victus.

If your interested in pursuing this line of investigation, I recommend starting with Osman’s ‘Stranger in the Valley of the Kings’ for the discovery here is pivotal to all else, followed by, ‘The House of the Messiah’.

Christianity should not have hated magic; but human igno¬rance always fears the unknown. High Science was obliged to conceal itself, to avoid the impassioned aggressions of a blind love. It enveloped itself in new hieroglyphs, concealed its efforts, and disguised its hopes; then was created the jargon of alchemy, a continual deception for the vulgar herd, greedy of gold, a living language to the higher self; this and Qabalah.

The Frightened Rabbit - By zeitgeist, January 20: ”...even a frightened, timid rabbit, cowering in a corner, guns drawn upon it…. tricked, and overcome by fear into sudden action… who stands the higher moral ground…”

The problem is that Israel is the frightened rabbit, zeitgeist, and it has put itself in that very position through the typical actions of a “settler society”. First, it has invaded and usurped and stolen the lands of the original inhabitants, then it has armed itseft to the teeth and become ever more aggressive…....

Quote: In an interview with al-Jazeera TV, the Iranian leader also said Israel “would not dare” attack Iran.

Nuclear warnings - Ahmadinejad… spoke as Israel announced it had test-fired a ballistic missile. Reports in the Israeli media said the long-range missile was aimed at intercepting aerial threats against the Jewish state. Israel radio said the weapon could carry an unconventional payload, an apparent reference to a nuclear warhead.

Thus, what IS the garbage that “Tehran could have a nuclear bomb by 2010” but the reality is that Israel has a nuclear missile NOW??? Perhaps, then, the imagined rabbit is really some kind of voracious reptile?!?!

Obviously, imagined threats to the Jewish state’s existence are obsessive and delusional. Their aggressions are based on their own guilt and refusal to accept their role as oppressors and the shame of their illegitimate existence as forces of evil which have done to their Palestinian brothers and sisters more ore less what the Nazis have done to them.

I pray cool and calm heads continue to prevail! The imposition of Force has never been the answer! Force only breeds contempt for those who abuse it.

But, I am fearful that even a frightened, timid rabbit, cowering in a corner, guns drawn upon it, stands not much of a chance. But, so long as it is not tricked, and overcome by fear into sudden action, in this, we who see shall know who stands the higher moral ground.

Remember:

The forces in the universe are neither good nor evil, but misappropriated, in the hands of those who perceive those forces as weapons of power then do they manifest as evil.

I’d like to see Bush and Imadinnerjacket in the Octagon!  They’d both pussy out!
..............

I had to look up the “Octagon” since my only familiarity with it is as a geomentric shape.

Now that I know what it is/was (a film from 1980 when a martial artist was required to defeat a plan by ninjas to create a global training camp) my only question would be, would Imadinnerjacket be wearing such a thing in the contest? What would georgie have on; his cowboy costume?

I think we can safely conclude that, whenever the US government calls for war, there is a big lie behind it.
Every war since the Revolutionary war (with the possible exception of the war of 1812, in which the British and Canadians invaded and burned down the White House), has been based on lies.

By Paolo, January 18: “Unfortunately, the American people are so dumbed down by public education that they will fall for a Gulf of Tonkin hoax at the drop of a hat…”

And its been that way since The Spanish-American War, Paolo -  a military conflict between Spain and the United States that began in April 1898…. (quote Wiki)

The war began after the American demand of Spain peacefully resolving the Cuban fight for independence was rejected, though strong expansionist sentiment in the United States may have motivated the government to target Spain’s remaining overseas territories: Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Guam and the Caroline Islands.

Riots in Havana by pro-Spanish “Voluntarios” gave the United States a reason to send in the warship USS Maine to indicate high national interest. Tension among the American people was raised because of the explosion of the USS Maine, and “yellow journalism” that accused Spain of extensive atrocities, agitating American public opinion….

Bush has the amazing talent of making bad people look good, in comparison with himself.

I’m no fan of Ahmadi-Nejad, but he is right in denouncing Bush’s constant threats against Iran. The latest ginned-up “incident” was a bunch of speed boats, of the type you expect to see in the local marina, going around US BATTLESHIPS! The liars at the Pentagon released a video that included the “voice over” of someone saying the US ships would “explode in a few minutes.” They claimed the threat came from the speed boats.

The Iranians released a video that is much more credible, which shows the speedboats posed no threat whatsoever.

Fox News, of course, interviewed the Admiral in charge and repeated asked why he didn’t blow the speedboats out of the water. Nice.

Leave it to Bush and the Pentagon (and Fox News) to make the Iranians look good and honest.

Unfortunately, the American people are so dumbed down by public education that they will fall for a Gulf of Tonkin hoax at the drop of a hat.
