Obama Wants to Go LivePosted on Dec 28, 2007
After Hillary Clinton announced she will buy two minutes of air time on every evening newscast in Iowa, Barack Obama wants to go even further with either a two- or five-minute live campaign commercial, to be aired simultaneously on all the networks. The stunt, which “West Wing” viewers will recognize from the show’s last season, has station managers scratching their heads. Apparently it’s just not that easy to coordinate five minutes of prime-time air time across competing networks.

The principal reason one would find it hard to vote Hillary for President is that she will be faced every waking moment of every day with thoughts as to whether she should let Bill have use of the closet office and desk on which he spent many a moment pondering on the legal use of IS.

Hillary Clinton in a response to Obama going live on all the major networks said that if she was guaranteed the majority caucas vote in any Iowa district at the end of the night she would be willing to show up and pop out of cake. She responded to critics that this is not a sign of desparation. She feels that her supporters should get to see another side of her.Her designers are working on a pants suit bathing suit right now.Is there noe end to what they will say and do to get elected?

Louise,
I’m thinking there is at least one smart candidate out there, probably more. Thing is, how many of US, are smart enough to vote for them?
That might be the larger question.
Of course my favorite guy Dennis isn’t in this latest squirmish, since he’s lost his brother and I can only imagine the pain of the mourning.
Still, let’s see how things shake out here. The reminder that this Iowa thing is totally meaningless should help keep the smart ones in balance.

Louise, I don’t think the media is clue-less, I think they’re deceitful and they can’t deviate from their corporate masters.
Any integrity in the media died on 9/11.

Ignore the distractions, don’t listen to the words, just follow the music.

“All total? If you watch the 6pm news on KCRG next Wednesday—9.5 minutes of the half hour news broadcast will be devoted to political advertisements. That’s every single available ad space.”

And if THAT doesn’t turn off the caucus goers, they must really love this horse sh ... Ooops, I mean race!
Maybe that’s the answer to the mystery of these meaningless caucuses. Betting on the dark horse in the back room!
Hmmm. Might be a pretty big chunk of change picked up there!
And the fact that these candidates are perfectly willing to make themselves look darn dumb, not to mention blow such a huge amount of the money their supporters gave them in good faith, is mind-boggling!
Puleese, let me keep believing there is at least one smart candidate out there!
I hope the voters across America remember when they go to vote in the primaries, the states holding the Horse Races actually DO NOT select the president. Even though these spend-thrift candidates have no clue, you and I can rest assured the votes of the “caucus” states ARE NOT more important than ours!
Oh, and we mustn’t forget the media, who are equally clue-less!
