Mr. Bush Goes to IsraelPosted on Dec 20, 2007
For the first time during his presidency, in the final year of his final term, George W. Bush is headed to Israel and the West Bank. Given that he’s even less popular in the Mideast than he is at home, massive security preparations are under way. In addition to going to Israel and the West Bank, Bush will make first-time visits to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

Thanks for the info, nahida, and if you have the/some links where you gleaned the facts from I’m interested. If you haven’t already seen this link you might find it of interest because it is where Zionism originates.

I’m sure someone will come on this site claiming we are both anti-Semitic, a favorite long & overly used tactic of Zionists to deflect attention away from their crimes, and which utilizes the tool of guilt felt by westerners for supposedly letting the Holocaust happen. Hey, how many non-Jewish westerners died trying to put the Nazis in their place?

Facts about the relationship between Zionism and terrorism
Below are some rarely-mentioned facts about the relationship between Zionism and modern-day terrorism:
1. The first aircraft hijacking was carried out by Israel in 1954 against a Syrian civilian airliner.
2. Grenades in cafes: first used by Zionists against Palestinians in Jerusalem on 17 March 1937.
3. Delayed-action, electrically timed mines in crowded marketplaces: first used by Zionists against Palestinians in Haifa on 6 July 1938.
4. Blowing up a ship with its civilian passengers still on board: first carried out by Zionists in Haifa on 25 November 1940. The Zionists did not hesitate to blow up their own people in protest at the British policy of restricting Jewish immigration to Palestine. The ship, Patria, was carrying 1,700 Jewish immigrants.
5. Assassination of government officials: first carried out by the Zionists against the British in Cairo, when on 6 November 1944 Lord Moyne was assassinated by the Stern Gang. Yitzhak Shamir, a member of the Irgun and later leader of the Stern Gang and Israeli prime minister, was behind the plan. (Prime minister Yitzhak Shamir visited UK in 1989. No action was taken against him although he is wanted by British Courts).
6. Use of hostages as a means of putting pressure on a government: first used by the Zionists against the British in Tel Aviv on 18 June 1946.
7. Blowing up of government offices with their civilian employees and visitors: first carried out by the Zionists against the British in Jerusalem on 22 July 1946. The toll was 91 Britons killed and 46 wounded in the King David Hotel. Menachm Begin, who masterminded and carried out the attack and later became Israeli prime minister, admitted that the massacre was coordinated with and carried out under the instruction of the Haganah Zionist gang.
8. Booby-trapped suitcases: first used by the Zionists against the British Embassy in Rome on 13 October 1946.
9. Booby-trapped cars in civilian areas : first used by the Zionists against the British in Sarafand (east of Jaffa) on 5 December 1946.
10. Beating of hostages: first used by the Zionists against the British in Tel Aviv, Netanya and Rishon on 29 December 1946.
11. Letter bombs sent to politicians: first used by the Zionists against Britain when 20 letter bombs were sent from Italy to London between 4 and 6 June 1947.
12. Murder of hostages as a reprisal for government actions: first used by the Zionists against the British in the Netanya area on 29 July 1947.
13. Postal parcel bombs: first used by the Zionists against the British in London on 3 September 1947.
14. The massacre of Qibya: northwest of Jerusalem, was carried out by Unit 101, under the command of Ariel Sharon on Wednesday 14 October 1953. The attack was the bloodiest and most brutal Zionist crimes since the infamous Deir Yassin massacre. Forty-two houses as well as a school and a mosque were dynamited over their inhabitants. Seventy-five women, men and children were killed.
As for an up-to-date ........ The list is endless!

No escape
In my heart dwells the pain of the oppressed
The river of their wounds pours down
In the sea of my sorrow
I am the voice of the voiceless
The howl of little ones as they fade away in agony
My whispers shoot like bullets
In the ears of the wicked
My words explodes
Before his eyes
Muting his lies
He looks away
Pretending not to see
Not to hear
My murmurs pierce his bubble
My tortured shadow follows
No escape
He runs to bed
Covers his head
Sleep might rid him of me
My chopped limps chases his dream
He drowns in my tears
In my blood
Unable to breathe
Unable to cry
No escape
Time passes… then he dies
Only to be greeted with my smile
He’d hoped he’d never see
As he was chained and taken away
To meet his deeds
No escape

Shooting Back: The Israeli Human Rights Group B’Tselem Gives Palestinians Video Cameras to Document Life Under Occupation.
B’Tselem has given Palestinian families across the West Bank video cameras to document how they are treated by Israeli soldiers and settlers. Some of the videos depicting abuse by settlers sparked a national debate earlier this year after they were broadcast on Israeli television. We speak with Oren Yakobovich who coordinates B’Tselem’s video department.
A second round of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations was stymied Monday after Israel refused to halt its settlement activity. At the U.S. sponsored peace conference in Annapolis last month Israel had agreed to end settlement expansion. But the Israeli Construction Ministry unveiled a proposal Sunday to build 740 new homes on occupied Palestinian land near East Jerusalem.
B’Tselem or the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories is an independent NGO that challenges Israel"s occupation and settlement policy by raising awareness about human rights violations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
B’Tselem has given Palestinian families across the West Bank video cameras to document how they are treated by Israeli soldiers and settlers. The project is called “Shooting Back.”
Some of the videos depicting abuse by settlers sparked a national debate earlier this year after they were broadcast on Israeli television.
Oren Yakobovich coordinates BTselem’s video department. He recently traveled to the United States and joined me in the firehouse studio for an interview. I began by asking him to explain his project, “Shooting Back.”

Jeb Bush to arrive in Israel for private visit
“Two weeks before US President George W. Bush is scheduled to arrive on his first visit to Israel as President, his younger brother Jeb Bush is scheduled to arrive Monday for a private visit.
Bush, the former governor of Florida, will be accompanied by his wife and children, and will travel around the country, including visits to Massada, Nazareth and a tour of the northern border with Deputy Chief of General Staff. Maj.-Gen. Dan Harel.
Bush is scheduled to meet Monday with Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik and a number of Knesset members.”

“The timing here is very interesting.
Either his Israeli hosts are sounding Jeb out for a presidential run in 2012 (as in, how good can you be for Israel?), or letting him know, in no uncertain terms, what the consequences might be for the President if he does not begin an attack on Iran before his term of office expires.”

Gaza’s Christians Keep Low Profile During Christmas
Gaza’s small Christian community is keeping a low profile during Christmas this year, traumatized by the killing of Rami Ayyad, 32, a prominent Christian activist, after the Hamas takeover. At the Baptist Church on Sunday, just 10 people attended the regular weekly prayer service, down from an average of 70. There was no Christmas tree in sight. The church’s full-time pastor, along with his family, have relocated to the West Bank. “Whole families are leaving, selling their cars, homes and all their properties,” said Rev. Manuel Musallem, head of Gaza’s Roman Catholic church. Israeli security officials said they were permitting 400 Gaza Christians to travel through Israel to Bethlehem for Christmas. Israel planning 1000 West Bank apartments…. Jerusalem Post: 12-23-2007

Report thisLast week, the people in Rafah, a Palestinian village on the border with Egypt, woke up at 6 o’clock in the morning due to the rumbling and rolling of Zionists’ tanks and armoured vehicles entering the village.
Under the cover of darkness the sleepy inhabitants were given 30-minutes to get out of their homes.
As punctual as they are when it comes to murder defenceless woman and children, sick and old, the so-brave Zionist Army started relentlessly hammering the people of Rafah, destroying over 100 hundred homes, leaving at least 1000 civilians, amongst them many infirm and old in freezing temperature homeless.
The image of these people, standing by helplessly as they watch their walls and roofs cave in under the pressure of the armoured, D-9 and D-10 American made Caterpillar bulldozers--supplied to the Zionist army by the regime in Washington, as demanded by the consolidated Zionist consortium.
This image would make anyone of conscience with sleepless nights, but it makes you sleepless because one cannot stop thinking about the horror Rachel Corrie, the 23 years young American peace activist, crashed under the similar D9s/D10s.
Rachel worked in Rafah. Undoubtedly, she would have known some of the people killed, wounded and made homeless by this latest attack, had she were given the chance to live her young life .
Rachel died in Rafah. She herself fell victim to the crushing blades of the bulldozer, the Zionist driver so intently anxious on destroying a home that he had to destroy human life to do so.
You feel the pain in your heart and soul.
The Rachel’s death, underreported as it was, the normal-gagged policy of the main stream US media and not reporting the continues Palestinians genocide did not come as surprise, just a norm.
The typically unquestioning support of the Zionists’ policy by the existing regime in W/H simply invites the cowardly Zionist Army takes Caterpillar armoured bulldozers, and uses them as WMD to inflict death and destruction on defenceless Palestinian civilians, in violation of every international law as they have been doing more of the same for the last 60 years.
Caterpillar’s own published policy of social responsibility, which states that its “commitment to financial success must also take into account social, economic, political and environmental priorities,” a policy guided by “high ethical standards” that seek to guarantee its “reputation for integrity”, is nothing but stinking all hot air when you are dealing with these psychopathic Zionists puppet-masters of AIPAC whom controlling the very way of life in America.

That’s misleading. He’s unpopular in the non-Jewish Mideast. But his policies are very popular in Israel - indeed, they are virtually dictated by Israel.

Israelis, naturally, don’t see it that way. They despise our complacency and our smug sense of superiority. They imagine they manipulate our foreign policy to conform to their interests. They may well be right. But without the continued, largely uncritical support of the US, Israel would collapse utterly into the fractious politics of the region. The Jews would resume their ancient, biblical diaspora, all the way to Coral Gables and beyond.
We, you and I, living as we do at the pinnacle of human material aspiration, commanding, each of us, personal resources unimagined by the maddest of dope-crazed fantasists in the long pre-industrial history of humankind, we need strategic control of the energy resources of the Mid-east. Without those resources, our arch-consumerist house of cards collapses utterly.
Collapse is inevitable, of course. Petroleum resources will collapse soon enough, and, as it is the fiduciary responsibility of the current Masters of the Universe to stifle any challenges to near-term profitability, there will be no viable alternatives any time soon.
So suck it up. We are building an impregnable network of fortresses all over the Mid-east. The Global War on Terror (absurd locution) is multigenerational. The anti-colonialist passions in the region, re-enforced through generations of continual oppression and privation, will continue to bedevil western exploitation. And the West will continue to create alliances of commercial convenience, and to marginalize or destroy potential competitors, for the whole of your foreseeable future and mine.
So W is winging out to the oil patch. We’d better wish him godspeed and a safe flight home.

Control of the oil reserves of the Mid-east is, in fact, a vital US security interest.
A handful of western multinationals are currently contracted to extract the resources of the region. Their contracts are signed by a handful of petty despots whose several authorities extend no farther than the willingness and the ability of the US to protect them. They are all continually pressured by democratic and theocratic anti-colonial national liberation movements. Without the active presence of massed US military resources in-country, none of these anachronistic autocrats would long survive. Absent the indigenous despots and their networks of nepotism and patronage, the US would find itself obliged to encamp many hundreds of thousands of our own young citizens on foreign sands to hold competing local interests at bay.
Exxon-Mobil has no use for democracy. The orderly transactions of trade demand orderly and predictable systems of political control. Exxon-Mobil would far rather deal with vainglorious princes and tyrants than with fractious, disorderly, and unpredictable multiparty politicos.
(In Iraq, we have chosen to put local tribal despots - who govern through traditional kinship structures, nepotism, and patronage - on payroll. Some rude semblance of order has resulted, allowing the Bush/Co lackeys at the Pentagon to claim progress toward stability. But the strategy is an undeniable retreat from any pretensions to democracy.)
This most favored nation, our US of A, consumes 25% of the world’s energy resources. Given our druthers, the evidence points to an insatiable appetite for utterly limitless per capita consumption. The national response to the unprecedented capital surpluses built up in the Clinton years was the SUV and the monster commuter pick-up, squandering disposable wealth on useless expanses of shiny sheet metal running at 10-12 MPG. And the 5,000 square foot tract home with a 72 degree steady-state interior climate built on arable land at an hour’s commute from our places of employment. And still we crave always bigger and badder and more.
This takes limitless supplies of crude. Near term, there is no alternative.
All my adult life, I’ve been hearing politicians drone on about liberating ourselves from dependence on “foreign oil”. First off...there is no such thing as “foreign oil”. On the global market, there is oil. Period. Second...The national imperative - yours and mine - is not to avoid non-American sources of crude; it is to own and to control those sources. We do this contractually through the devils we know; we prop compliant despots into positions of command over those resources, and we back their authority with F-16’s and Hellfire missiles. We continue to amass forces in permanent bases in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE.
This is why Bin Laden hates us.
Pentagon strategists have been persuaded, from the infancy of the Zionist state, that Israel is an outpost of western culture and a proxy military presence allied to US interests. The Jewish state is valued as a sort of dry-docked air craft carrier on permanent lease to the American commercial imperium. She is our attack dog, forever straining at the leash. We don’t need to use her. The threat is sufficient.

What a HOOT this is!!! I’d LOVE for them to give US back OUR land Yani. It’s been more than a FEW HUNDRED YEARS, since the EUROS (specifically Britain, Spain and France) did EXACTLY to us Natives, as Israel is doing to the Indigenous Peoples of the Middle East. Ah, THAT would be the ARABS in your case.
So, this just goes to show how stupid and unaware you are. And, I have nothing to prove to you. I also don’t have any reason to go anywhere near Amman. One of my colleagues had a very bad experience there a few years ago. He was there on a study fellowship, and made the very innocent mistake of taking a photograph of a Mosque and a market place. Touristy sort of stuff, just to show the folks at home. Within minutes, some goons had swooped him up, and thrown him in a van of some sort, and off they went. He made the mistake of trying to talk with them – in ARABIC- (somehow thinking it might help) when of course THAT only made it worse. It was a HARROWING experience for him. He was somehow able to wiggle his handcuffed hands into his pocket for a cell phone, and then make contact with someone from the sponsoring University/Program. Eventually they were able to obtain his release. Now, this is a WHITE guy, an American, and his ‘crime’ was taking some tourist photos. (and speaking Arabic of course)
Thanks anyway, I think I’ll pass on your dare. However, I HAVE visited the strip, and I was NOT harassed. I’ve also visited the West Bank, and since I’m obviously a Native AMERICAN, and NOT a Native ARAB, the Israelis didn’t bother me there either. Rather, I got to OBSERVE what the Israelis do to THOSE natives. It’s horrific. (talk about fine-tuning the torture techniques...the IDF has it down pat)
So Yani, go blow your smoke up somebody else’s ass, because I’m not going for it.

Although N I E Report has dampen the intensity of war rhetoric for a while; but it may have not retarded the ability of George W Bush to take any action against Iran. In any case George W Bush does require some fabricated scenario turned into a compelling evidence to formulate a pretext against Iran.
This may be seen as rushing to some rash analysis, but it seems most likely that in order to create a pretext; we may have another 9/11 like event! This time ground zero may not be some twin tower like targets in America but it could be (most probably a self inflicted wound surfacing) some where in Tel-Aviv-Israel.
Bush planned visit to Israel is another opportunity for Neocons to orchestrate an incident where President’s Security is seen compromised; some suicidal blast is made to happen which forms another evidence to bring about a pretext to Attack Iran.

The reason these checkpoints are so pernicious is because regardless of how “generous” the Israelis think they are in creating a Palestinian state, they will STILL remain. That’s why the 95% offer made by Barak in 2000 was such a joke!

We have seen almost eight years of these failed “diversionary “ tactics by Bush/Cheney & Co. . Every time a serious controversy arises - this time the destruction of CIA interogation tapes - This One Trick Pony of an administration pulls a magic weasel out of it’s hat full of very transparent attempts to dodge responsibility and accountability for the Criminal activity of these naughty little boys and girls in the White House . I wish the Israelis would give the Palestinians a breather and Bulldoze the White House with all of these creeps inside .

The May 15th Prophecy and the Prophet Habakkuk has corectly describe President Bush as followed
“Habakkuk describe with precision and accurate detail of the Bush Administration in chapter 2 verse 5
“Moreover, wine and wealth are treacherous; the proud man [the Chaldean Invader] is restless and cannot stay at home”
His appetite is large like that of sheol and [his greed] is like death and cannot be satisfied; he gather to himself all nations, and collect all people as if he owned them.”
Last Day Watchers I want you to know that some of the greatest scholars in the history of bible study have given the Amplified Bible as the best translation to this verse.
Some of the most esteem editors that have contributed to the Amplified Bible translation are to name a few
Frederic William Bush, PH.D,.........Fuller Theological Seminary
R.K. Harrison, PH.D,...........Gord-Conwell Theological Seminary
H.R. Minn PH.D,.......................................University of Auckland
Sylvio Scorza PH.D, TH.D,..........................Northwestern College
Bruce Waltke, TH.D, PH.D,.....................................Regent College
Kyle M. Yates, PH.D,..........................................Baylor University
They all agree with the Amplified Bible translation of Habakkuk verse 5
Last Day Watchers notice how this verse can only apply to President George W. Bush, it describe not only his alcoholic nature and his treacherous Bush family wealth which has been well chronicled by socialite writers
However Habakkuk farther identifies him as a proud and arrogant Iraq Invader [Chaldean Invader]!
Last Day Watchers look how Habakkuk describe how “weighted” down this arrogant proud man would become because of his illegal invasion.
Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 6 The Basic in Basic English translation
“A Curse on him that goes on taking that what is not his, IS WEIGHTED DOWN with the property of debtors”

Upon a second thought on Bush’s trip to the Mideast, I was inspired with the following thoughts:
May he be checked out at one of Israel’s checkpoints, so he would learn firsthand what it looks like! Or may he be buried alive in the moving sands of the Arabian deserts and end swimming in a field of crude oil he loved so much! Or may he be given few oil fields to rule over as another Skeik-King, enticing him to stay there for good! Whatever happens, alive or dead, but out of this land, this might be the greatest of God’s gift to the American people for the 2008 New Year.
I always thought that Bush fits more in the Mideast than in America, and I hope that his God who speaks to him, as he claims, would inspire him to decide to stay there and die there, so he would be close at hand when the Armageddon he worked so hard to hasten will be upon that land.

The Decider Guy is so popular, it will take 8000 heavily armed Israeli stormtroopers (oops, I mean brave IDF troops!) to keep his adoring fans back. Kinda hard to get Palestinians to sign the loyalty pledge required to get in to any public event that The Decider Guy takes part in. Sorry, no pledgee, no tickee!
Must be wonderful to be the most beloved leader in his Bizzaro World. Good to know that the rest of his life will be spent cowering behind the ivory towers he’ll be infesting, for fear that apoplectic mobs will Mussolini him...all in a very loving manner mind you, for he is The Decider Guy, aka Dear Leader, and he is BELOVED BY ALL! Just ask any of the 24 percenters who still think he’s doing a GREAT job!

This is the part in the screenplay when Ugly meets with Deceitful and they announce that they’re on the verge of yet another historic agreement for Peace.
Carter went through that charade and every President that followed.
Peace is simply not profitable enough for Israel and for them more is never enough.
Israel is a land mine of bad karma - the problem is, its in our driveway.

A TOUR OF THE ISRAELI IDF CHECKPOINTS
“Photographing Israel’s checkpoints is rarely easy. On occasions soldiers have threatened to arrest me, take my camera or aimed their rifles in my direction. All but one of these photos were taken in January 2007 while I was accompanying Machsom Watch, a group of Israeli women who monitor some of the 500-plus checkpoints and roadblocks that criss-cross the West Bank. They know Israeli domestic and military law, and argued with the soldiers who tried to stop me. It is important to remember that the checkpoints (“machsom” in Hebrew) shown here are deep inside Palestinian territory; they do not mark any kind of border with Israel … (continued below)”
---------------------------------------------
BTW...May be GW Bush can take a tour and see ISRAEL’S GRUESOME & APARTHEID IDF CHECKPOINTS.
What are the chances that GW will have an opportunity to see Israel’s brutal occupation of the Palestinian people? You guessed it...ZERO CHANCE!

Former US Intelligence official: Israel will attack Iran
Bruce Riedel, a former career CIA official and senior adviser to three US presidents, including Bush, tells Newsweek he came back from trip to Israel in November convinced that Jewish state would attack Iran. ‘Israel is not going to allow its nuclear monopoly to be threatened,’ he says

“I came back from a trip to Israel in November convinced that Israel would attack Iran,” Bruce Riedel, a former career CIA official and senior adviser to three US presidents - including George W. Bush - on Middle East and South Asian issues, told Newsweek Thursday, citing conversations he had with Mossad and Israeli defense officials.
“And that was before the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE). This makes it even more likely. Israel is not going to allow its nuclear monopoly to be threatened,” the American magazine quoted Riedel as saying in an article titled, “What will Israel do?”.
Mission to Washington
Israeli delegation dispatched to US to argue that Iran still pursuing bomb / Associated Press
Intelligence experts at end of week-long mission to Washington to counter findings of NIE report claiming Iran no longer developing nuclear weapons
Full Story
Published in early December, the American NIE determined that Iran had shelved its nuclear weapons program in 2003.
According to Newsweek, “a rising tide of opinion in Israel’s intelligence and national-security circles believes that the NIE does signal American retreat-and, more profoundly, renewed Israeli isolation over what is deemed an existential threat out of Tehran.”
‘Israel has gotten away with it’
The magazine quoted Knesset Member Ephraim Sneh, a former deputy defense minister who has “warned for years that Israel would eventually have to confront Iran alone,” as saying that “today we are closer to this situation than we were three weeks ago ... we have to be prepared to forestall this threat on our own.”
David Albright of the Institute for Science and International Security in Washington told Newsweek that Israel was likely encouraged by the non-reaction to their September air strike on a reported Syrian nuclear facility, “which may have been a test run for Iran, or at least a warning directed at Tehran”.
“Israel has gotten away with it in a sense,” Albright was quoted as saying. He suggested that any Israeli pre-emptive action might not be a “traditional strike” but could involve more “sabotage of equipment”.
Newsweek said Israel also knows that the Arab states are “terrified of an Iranian nuclear power, possibly to the point of looking the other way at another such strike”.

The magazine said one reason for Bush’s abruptly announced nine-day visit to the Middle East in mid-January was “to deal with the fallout from the NIE, which includes not only the possibility that Israel will act unilaterally but also that Bush’s prized Annapolis peace process will stall.
“The Bush trip is, in part, an implicit concession to US hawks that the NIE went too far in absolving Iran. It is also a conscious effort to reassure both Israel and the Arab states that Washington will stand up to Iran’s increasing intrusiveness and hegemonic tendencies,” Newsweek said in its report.

Because the American Republic has failed miserably in holding its elected leaders to accountability for years of failures and disasters, I am one who is not surprised that Bush is about to crown his disastrous presidency with a visit to leaders and countries that represent the antithesis of true democracy, enlightenment and human rights. So, besides visiting his beloved militaristic and the longest occupier in modern human history, Israel, he will pay homage and bestow legitimacy upon several hated despotic medieval rulers in Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
I wish to share with the enlightened readers of Truthdig a piece of information that many might not know about one of the latest Bush’s cohorts in international politics, Mahmoud Abbas, the so-called “President of Palestine.” Abbas was the author of some 600-page documents written for the failed Oslo Accords, in which he did not once use the word “occupation”; in which he referred only to the “deployment” of the Israeli army rather than its withdrawal. And of course, he promised to end the so-called “terrorism” against Israel only, keeping for himself the right to terrorize his own people. It was his ability to use the political America’s and Israel’s lexicon that was among his many accomplishments, endearing him to the political establishment in the U.S. and Israel.
Even in ancient Rome, any citizen could accuse an official of misconduct and instigate a public trial. The common people were the most effective at using this tool of public accountability, because the elites were too prone to shielding each other.
How is it with our U.S. House and Senate? Are they any longer “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” or are they the agents of monied interests?

Who’s he waving to?
The CAMERA ... duh
Mr. Bush Goes To Israel.
You know things are bad when a loser puts the loser capital of the world at the head of his agenda. Maybe he thinks juxtaposed over “someone else’s” chaos he’ll look good.
Or maybe someone made him read Carters biography, or at least a few critical paragraphs and he decided, “I can do that. I can, I can, I can!”
Or maybe his “party” has asked his “people” to get him out of town for a while.
Or maybe Sharon’s reported death was greatly exaggerated and he’s invited the kid over to share some new torture videos just delivered to his [undisclosed secret location] rest home.
Or maybe the military turned down his request for another invite to visit them in the war zone.
That would smart. “Whadaya mean they don’t want me bother’n ‘em?”
Or maybe his glowing self-image has decided to visit the “Holy Land” where all “holy” people like him go at this “holy” time of year.
[Or maybe he’s planned an attack on DC and wants to be somewhere else when it happens. “I di’nt do it!"]
Naw.
Probably God told him it’s time for the rapture and he wants to be sure he’s there ... just in case the bus is real crowded.

With the US economy and country in a nihilistic condition on the verge of a depression, this is not the time to attack Iran. This condition has been caused by the criminality and excesses by the Republicans. (Aka Conservatives right wingers) My supposition is Bush is in Israel to plan an attack by that country using some kind of pretext similar to 9/11.

I’ve been a number of times Yani, and while I didn’t just hang around on corners, I was never captured, tortured, or murdered in 10 minutes or 1000 minutes. My biggest fear was of the IDF in their gigantic ass tankers, as they roll through the streets with their huge weapons.
• Its a brutal violent place run by militants!
So, the only question here is, if you think it’s such a brutal and violent place run by militants, why the hell would you, (or any other Israeli) want to be there?
You don’t think there’s a chance the Mr. Bush might go and stand on a corner there, now do you?

From your article…
“PDA understands that Israel has the responsibility to protect its citizens from any group who fires rockets into Israel…”
Israel gives them free utilities. Why should they continue to give this to them if they keep shooting rockets/ bombs into Israel? Do you not see that they are trying to use this to shift local opinion and support of the attacks? They are targeting innocent Israeli civilians!
The murders Hamas commits are ok for you but Israel be dammed for defending. I would like to see you visit the strip and stand on a corner. I bet you would be captured, tortured and murdered in 10 min.
