Before Mitt Romney takes such a hard line against undocumented workers, he might try to find an American citizen willing to cut the grass at his suburban Boston home. For the second time in a year, the candidate has been caught employing undocumented immigrants by way of a landscaping company, which he has now fired.

AP:

MEREDITH, N.H.—Republican Mitt Romney, ridiculed by rival Rudy Giuliani for employing illegal immigrants at his “sanctuary mansion,” said he had fired the landscaper for his suburban Boston home after learning for a second time about undocumented workers laboring on the property.

[...]The former Massachusetts governor has made combatting illegal immigration a core theme of his White House run.

His three-point plan includes building fences along the U.S.-Mexico border; developing a tamperproof ID card so only legal immigrants can work and cutting off federal money to “sanctuary cities” providing safe haven to illegal immigrants.

During a debate last week in St. Petersburg, Fla., Romney chastised Giuliani for continuing sanctuary status for New York while he served as the city’s mayor. That prompted Giuliani to accuse Romney of owning a “sanctuary mansion” after The Boston Globe reported last year his landscaper employed illegal workers.

Man is this a laugh…like he found out yesterday.  Back when Mitt-the-shit was running for Bay State corner office, the Boston Globe broke this story…

He had hired (way back then, 5 years ago) a company which used illegal aliens. So now, he acts surprised, says he’ll fire the firm, and go back to running for .... what’s that office again?

Willard Romney is a laughing stock, and the fact he has gotten as far as he has in US politics is a tribute to our unidentified royalty system.  Because George (his father) was a governor in Michigan, he should (by divine right) be governor of another “M” State. Because his father ran (and lost) for the presidency, Willard has a right to do the same.

Note to the US citizens…. Find a new vein. what we have been doing isn’t working!

Mitt Romney will find an American to cut his lawn if the price is right.  Let him pay a market clearing wage.  He claims to believe in capitalism.

If he doesn’t want to pay an American a market clearing wage, he can always cut the lawn himself or put his wife out there.  Lots of people cut their own lawns.  A little physical labor won’t hurt Mitt.

I’ll just bet that mansion is a sanctuary!

“Romney denied the charge, saying he wasn’t responsible for a legal company hiring illegal workers.”

**First he REHIRES a company he KNOWS has operated against the rules HE ENDORSES.  (Somebody really outta tell Mitt that businesses that operate outside the law kinda is your business when your the governor…and um…well, it gets worse when you actually contract with them FOR A SECOND TIME!)

“The former Massachusetts governor has made combatting illegal immigration a core theme of his White House run.”

**Then he beats up on immigrants who work as LABORERS as part of his political position.

**In the end, he puts them out of a job.  Geez…what a guy!  You gotta feel for Mitt though cutting all that MANSION GRASS by yourself gotta be tough….

Romney may be a business savant but in politics he must be an idiot savant.Only Republicans could sell their souls to win and accept a guy like Romney who gives new meaning to the word chameleon. As Governor he was okay with a compassionate view of illegal immigrants but to get the Republican nomination he is a hard liner on illegal immigration.Mitt personifies the saying” if you do not like his positions today do not despair there is always tomorrow.”
