Thompson Accuses Fox of Bias

Fred Thompson
satiricalpolitical.com

Fred Thompson told Chris Wallace of “Fox News Sunday” that his network was biased, charging that criticism against Thompson’s campaign “has been a constant mantra of Fox.” As if to demonstrate the point, Wallace shot back: “Do you know anybody who thinks you’ve run a great campaign, sir?”

The Hill:

In an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace pressed Thompson on how some conservatives have lambasted Thompson’s campaign and showed clips of Fox conservative commentators Charles Krauthammer and Fred Barnes criticizing the former senator.

Thompson said, “This has been a constant mantra of Fox, to tell you the truth.” He noted that other conservatives have praised his bid for the GOP nomination and took issue with a Fox promo that focused on polling in New Hampshire, where Thompson is registering in the single digits.

He said he is running second in national polls and has been leading or tied for the lead in South Carolina for “a long, long time.”

ACCUSING THE FOX NEWS OR CNN OR THE OTHER MSM AND TO A DEGREE THIS PAPER TOO IS KIND OF LIKE ASKING “IS IT DARK AT NIGHT?”

Oh please, Mr. lawlessone.  Don’t come into a place called “Truth_-dig and attempt to actually defend Rupert Murdoch’s propaganda network.  If you are interested in anything bordering upon documented truth, obtain, watch and actually digest the Robert Greenwald video, “Outfoxed.”

What is interesting, at this point, is that the same billionaires who bankrolled Bush’s rise to power, Ruppert Murdoch and Richard Mellon Scaife are getting quite chummy with the Clintons.  The chances are far greater that the Clintons are lining up to sell out the Democratic base than the prospect that either Murdoch or Scaife intend to alter their hard-right goals.

Maybe it’s all another Re-thug plot?  After all, ripping Chris Wallace a new one has helped give a HUGE boost to the Democrats, starting when Bill Clinton gave him a royal tanning!

Maybe they think if THEY rip Chris Wallace like the Dems do they’ll look like the independent thinkers that they aren’t, and get votes that way.

Sounds like a good conspiracy to me! (and this is the home of crackpot conspiracy fantasies)

........

Nah, it’s just Thompson isn’t the candidate Fox has determined needs to be the nominee, so they trash him as long as they can get away with it.

Those who think Fox “News” is the fanatically partisan, slipshodly unethical, PR department for the Republican Party have been proven wrong once again.  Apparently, Fox “News” is only the partisan, unethical PR department for SOME Republicans.

“Welcome to the jungle” Fred. Get Matt Groening to write you into a Simpson’s episode. They always need a “B list” celebrity to be found asleep on a park bench.

Fox News is the Sam’s Club of disinformation and Chris Wallace may actually be as much of a phony as his bloated father.
