Gore and Bush Survive Each Other’s CompanyPosted on Nov 26, 2007
By all accounts it was an awkward meeting between two men who’ve clearly disliked each other since the 2000 election: Al Gore and George W. Bush, grinning uncomfortably for the cameras. Gore, who was invited by tradition because of his Nobel win, offered a tension-breaking comment during the photo op, but the president just kept smiling in silence.

Bravo for Al Gore! Meeting with George W. Bush could not have been easy. We may never know what exactly was said at their meeting, but I would bet my last dollar that a healthy future for our Earth’s biosphere was very strongly advocated. We can count on history to show who was the greater man. And for the Supreme Court, Madam Liberty herself has shed a golden tear beside the golden door.

You might be right Deborah. I guess it’s a tossup between, “...rubbing his nose in it”, or dissing Bush with a refusal to participate in this photo-op by not showing up. Either way Bush comes off as the smaller man that he is. Kudos, though, to the Times photog who perfectly captured Bush’s evil grin. Definitely our every day Grinch.

Gore had an excellent opportunity to express what Americans (and the rest of the world) think of Bush by refusing to meet with him, but he blew it.
*****
I understand the merits of the principled refusal; if this were anyone else, I would agree with you. But this is the exception that proves the rule. Forget for a moment the fact that Gore more than deserved his moment of rubbing his success in Bush’s face.
Gore’s success is the ultimate refutal to Bush Administration policy and a darned successful one. Bush has been successfully “ambushed” several times by people daring to speak truth to power. From Joseph Lowery at Correta Scott King’s funeral to Stephen Colbert at the 2006 White House Correspondent’s dinner, Bush has been confronted directly with the complaints against his administration.
And each time, the response has been that each person to take Bush head on did so in an “inappropriate manner”. From the Dixie Chicks to Sheehan, people have been called communists, traitors and terrorists sympathizers for opposing Bush at worst - at best, citizens disagreeing with the Bush Administration are told that, quite patronizingly, that although they have the right to their opinion, any opinion that is not a sanctioned Bush/ Cheney opinion is “inappropriate”.
And then there’s Al Gore. Gore had several opinions that were not sanctioned by Bush/ Cheney (lol : ). And they called him “ozone man”, labeled him a loon, a liar, a fraud. They painted him with a very wide brush and to add insult to injury, depending on what you believe, stole Gore’s right to the office that Bush now holds.
It is therefore positively satisfying to have George Bush forced, by measure of tradition and polite invitation, to face the man who proves him wrong.
Satisfying indeed.

I enjoyed lastdaywatchers (#116181) comments.
Always good to hear from the “sign seekers.” Speaking of which, I have a friend who keeps a “prayer string” in her kitchen window. She swears every time the “decider” makes a decision the string ties itself in a knot.
Now I personally have never seen this, but I have no reason to doubt her word. She is after all the High Priestess of the Gleamin’glots.
Now in case you don’t know, the Gleamin’glots are the folks [things?] from the other side of the moon. They come down from time to time and stay for tea.
I’m still waiting for my invite. Actually I’m not. While it might be fascinating to meet these creatures, were they actually to appear in front of me, I think it would scare the beegeebies out of me.
I’m running out of beegeebies!

“They all agree with the Amplified Bible translation of Habakkuk verse 5
Last Day Watchers notice how this verse can only apply to President George W. Bush, it describe not only his alcoholic nature and his treacherous Bush family wealth which has been well chronicled by socialite writers
However Habakkuk farther identifies him as a proud and arrogant Iraq Invader [Chaldean Invader]!
Last Day Watchers look how Habakkuk describe how “weighted” down this arrogant proud man would become because of his illegal invasion.
Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 6 The Basic in Basic English translation
“A Curse on him that goes on taking that what is not his IS WEIGHTED DOWN with the property of debtors”
Last Day Watchers it is a well known fact that the Iraq invasion has cost the U.S trillions of dollars and the Iraqi people are plundering the inept government and the “rise” of the insurgency has sustain it with more kidnapping and plundering as the 7th verse describes all to well.
“Will not your creditors suddenly ARISE?, Will they not wake up and make you tremble?, Then you will become their prey.”
Now that is the true Iraqi ARISING, not the lie of this “awakening” being promoted by this pawn of Satan.
Or you going to believe God Word?, or the “Good reports on Baghdad” you are being framed to believe?
The 9th verse make clear that this can only be President George w. Bush who Habakkuk already describe in the 5th verse as the “Iraq Invader”
The 9th verse tell why “the proud and arrogant Iraqi Invader” invades!, quoted from President Bush himself when he said “To fight them over there so that we don’t have to fight them here”
(note to the wise think 9-11 when you read this verse)
Habakkuk chapter 2 verse 9
“Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, THAT HE MAY BE DELIVERED FROM THE POWER OF EVIL.”
The New Berkeley Version in Modern English translate the 9th verse
“Woe to him who acquires an evil gain for his house, in order to set his seat on high, TO BE OUT OF THE REACH OF CALAMITY”
The Original Hebrew in Modern English (Helen Spurell) translate the 9th verse
“That he may erect his house in grandeur, IN ORDER TO BE DELIVERED FROM CALMITY”
The English Standard verse translate the 9th verse
“Woe to him who gets evil gain for his house, to set his nest on high, TO BE SAFE FROM HARM!”
And this translation of the 9th verse say it all from The Bible: An American translation (J.M. Powis Smith and Edgar Goodspeed)
“Woe to him who acquire unjust gain for his household, setting his nest on high, THAT HE MAY BE DELIVERED FROM THE POWER OF DISASTER”
As you see Last Day Watchers and every single translation agree; that the lying pawn of Satan not only invaded to “fight them over there so we don’t have the fight them here”
But also a personal power grab for “unjust gains for his household”
“your schemes to overthrow mighty nations will bring dishonor to your house, and put your own life in jeopardy”
Habakkuk 2:10”

I hope this doesn’t make Bush Sr. go weepy in front of the cameras again. It’s such an embarrassing clan of lying, crying and spying simpletons.

As the two statesman (make that one) grinned for the press, Bush pondered: “Nobel Peace Prize, well woop-tee-doo. I’d like to see you run a powerboat on that peice of useless tin. Hey, I know how to fly an airplane through global warming, and once I even walked across the flight deck of an aircraft carrier wearing my old flight suit, aaand it still fit! Who does he think he is anyway? Just another usless academic’s all he’ll ever amount to, yes-sir-re-bob!”

With Bush casting that ever present ‘Deer in Headlights’ look in the midst of someone who has intelligence, integrity, and Nobel Prize, it makes you wonder how anyone could have elected him. But hey, the corporations ,oil companies, and war industry have done fabulously with Bush in office.
With the economy going the way it is with the trillion dollar Bush Iraq War, Wal-Mart will only continue to grow with all the middle-class Americans slipping down into lower-class territory. Bush bankrupted several companies himself so why not the Nation’s!

Makes me think of a modified version of a joke from The Daily Show.
When told that Gore received the most votes from the Nobel committee, Bush’s reply was “That’s great! Who won?”

My respect for the Canadian band “The Guess Who” just went up greatly. During the Nixon administration they refused an invitation to perform at the Whitehouse citing Nixon’s warmongering regarding the Viet Nam fiasco.
The Dixie Chicks were correct, but not only about being embarrassed Bush is Texan (not really, though). We should ALL feel the same way because he is from the USA…physically, but certainly NOT democratically.

“Familiar faces,” the former vice president said of the media. Bush, still smiling, added nothing.”
[Where’s Harris when you need her ... what does ‘familiar’ mean anyway?]
“I know that this president does not harbor any resentments,” White House press secretary Dana Perino said. “Never has.”
[Harbor ... what’s water got to do with it? Harris ... where the heck is she anyway? Oh, you mean remember. That’s kinda like familiar, huh? I need a little help here folks, my face is stuck! This SOB is BIGGER than me!]
“Bush personally invited Gore. The White House changed its original date to accommodate Gore. And then there was the private Bush-Gore meeting, too.”

Wonder what was said. Maybe Gore explained to Bush what it means when someone says, “A glacier is melting. You know, like when you leave the ice cubes on the cupboard, and the room is warm.”

Wow!! I ask you? Can any “spin” of exihibition be more transparent? I’m pissed that they “truly” believe that we(educated, tax-paying, and “pain-in-the ass” special people) Americans are THAT friggin’ dumb. They blatantly associate with the same CLUBS; friends/associates: secret “societies(i.e.“I’m scared Mommy”, ad nauseum, but in “keeping of ttradition” at least according to adopted “Elitist Standards”. If all of the “comman folk” would just see what’s really going on well, maybe….just maybe, that realization will indicate to all of our citizenry that the future of our country can be great. We have a few “glitches” that need to be ironed out, everyone. But, if we can establish a true “common ground” between “like-thinking” people, with effective communication and common goals and efforts would be possible.
Report thisWe need to find, and provide, the “proof” of NWO/Illuninati/K of M, N T, Freemasons/Skull&Bones;,etc. enlist the support of the people who have the same desire to “hold on to America”. Please communicate, if you are like-minded. Thanks.
