Ex-Publisher Accuses News Corp. of Protecting GiulianiPosted on Nov 13, 2007
Judith Regan, the HarperCollins publisher who was fired after her O.J. Simpson book project fell apart, has accused an unnamed executive from Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. of telling her to lie to federal investigators in order to protect Rudy Giuliani. One of Regan’s attorneys claimed that she had evidence to support her accusation, but the lawyer failed to present or describe any.

FUNNY HOW THIS WOMAN AND THE THEN WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY NEVER TRIED TO SPEAK UP WHEN IT WAS NECESSARY anD RIGHT TO SPEAK UP.
WHY IS IT THAT THE AMERICANS CAN ALWAYS CORRECT THE LONG GO PAST AND DO NOTHING TO CORRECT THE PRESENT OR THE VERY RECENT PAST. LIKE DIXIE CHICKS WHO REFUSED TO BACK OFF THEIR STATEMENTS, why arent there more of the dixie chicks?
OH, I GET IT, THEN THESE WHISTLEBLOWERS WERE BUSY TRYING TO PROFIT FROM THE SITUATION AND JUST WHEN IT BECOMES CLEAR THAT THERE IS NO FURTHER BENEFITS TO BE BILKED FrOM THAT CERTAIN POINT THEN THEY GO PUBLIC WITH A STATEMENT & A BOOK.
HOW PROFITABLE & TYPICALLY CAPITALISTIC.

I do not like to use a broad brush to paint either a group or situation because when you do so, someone gets included who does not deserve to be, however, there is something so profoundly wrong with the Republican Party that a broad brush is in order. I believe that when they came into full power in 2000, all of the unrestrained greed and lust for power, at any cost, was unleashed within the Republican Party. The level of arrogance and bullying and trying to impose your will on others is simply rampant within the Republican Party. And, it is not just at the national level, but at all levels. They need to be voted out of power and it needs to be a very long time before they are ever given the wheel to drive. They need to be passengers on the train that drives our government, vocal and involved passengers as we need the two party system, but not the conductor.

Is this a photo of Judith? She looks young and healthy to me. Maybe she could concentrate on how to get Bill Blackolive published in this earlier period.

The problem with the early focus in this breaking story is the emphasis on how it affects Giuliani and not the corrupt FOX news corporation. Clearly, there are grounds to pull the plug on this station so they cannot continue to spread their Nazi propaganda. Or at least they should have to do what the World Wrestling Federation had to do when they were forced to be categorized entertainment and not a sport. The FOX entertainment channel would still be dangerous with Bush’s cousin Roger Ailes at the helm. Prison time for him, Murdoch, Hannity, and Bill-O is a good start.

It’s nice to know a year ahead of time that the “fix” is in for Rudy.
I just wish Rupert would back a potted plant instead - I could actually vote for it with a clear conscience over Rudy.

The Media is the accomplice to the greatest criminals that ever disgraced print, radio and film.
When bad is made to look good and the good are choreographed as bad, you’re near the tipping point.
Pull the plug and set yourself free.
