‘Sarko the American’ Lives Up to the Nickname

Sarkozy in Congress

If there was any doubt as to whether French President Nicolas Sarkozy has earned his nickname, “Sarko the American,” his speech before Congress on Wednesday definitely put that to rest.

AP via Breitbart.com:

“Since the United States first appeared on the world scene, our two peoples, the French and the American people, have always been friends,” Sarkozy said, as he emphatically drew a veil on years of cross-Atlantic tensions.

Arriving for a joint session of the US Senate and the House of Representatives, the French leader received a lengthy and warm applause, including several standing ovations, as he praised the United States for its world influence.

“We may have differences, we may disagree on things, we may even have arguments, as in many families,” he said, “but in times of difficulty, in times of hardship, one stands true to one’s friends, one stands shoulder to shoulder with them, one supports them, and one helps them.”

Bukko, I’m unfamiliar with Bageant but will check him out.  Thanks for the link.

Not “bigotry” but FACT, lilmamzer. I am discussing realpolitik - not like you presumptious crew who have invested in childish emotionalism. Then again are you in denial - of your own pathetic hypocrisies, uhh???

Hey Frank, with your Scots-Irish ancestry, leftist leanings and love of bourbon, have you ever heard of Joe Bageant? He’s a rabble-rousing author who’s like H.L. Mencken crossed with Mark Twain. Calls himself a “redneck socialist” and writes with sarcastic humour about how southerners of your ethnic ilk have influenced American culture and politics. He has a wicked funny blog with excellent insights about American life. Writes posts with titles like Howling in the Belly of the Confederacy and “Pissing in the Liberal Punchbowl Again”. (The latter is so feisty that TruthDig has blacklisted the essay and won’t let me set up a hyperlink to it.) I think you’d like him.

How crude can you possibly be, Chalmers?

You need to learn to cloak your bigotry in a more sophisticated way, instead of pointing at Sarkozy and yelling “JEW!!!”

Am I on your psychiatrist’s couch now, Dr. Chalmers?  I’m sorry, our time is up for this session.

Seriously, if you want some insight into my mind, I will tell you that two of my top intellectual heroes are Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine.  You may infer from that whatever you like, so long as you don’t imply that I condone slave ownership.

In relation to the topic, there is a huge fake French culture cleverly built around nonsense like “Napoleon cognac”, etc etc.

Anyone with any understanding of history who gives that a moment’s thought will instantly realize that Napoleon was France’s Adolf Hitler of the 19th century! Who would want to commemorate him - well, the French, of course?!?!

And isn’t that exactly how the Americans have glorified their civil war and all other wars? Then there are the Jews and their glorification of their ethnic cleansing of 3,000 years ago, 2,000 years ago and the 20th century - all in the name of their god, uhh!

But, regarding what you said, Frank, seriously, what are the psychological implications..... for yourself???

It’s MacTavish (Thompson), on my mother’s side. That’s just one of many typos I have made today while trying to write before having my coffee.  Jefferson and John Marshall are on my father’s side.

I am the whiskey drinking type, though these days I prefer Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey over Scotch, and I identify more with my American colonial heritage than my older Scottish and Irish ancestry.

Mr. Chalmers, Sir:

1) Referring to someone by their surname is not an insult or harassment, it is a journalistic norm. This isn’t parliament, so get off your high horse.

2) I didn’t suggest you were a terrorist, Mr. Chalmers, Sir. I asked, rhetorically, if I should make such an assumption based purely on your last name, to illustrate the absurdity what you are doing in the case of Sarkozy.

3) My personal background, other than being directed related to US President Thomas Jefferson and Chief Justice John Marshall, as well as a number of enotable US colonists and revolutionary figures, is primarily Scottish, so don’t get your kilt in a ruffle over my obviously rhetorical comment about your surname. I chose not to use my surname here for good reasons, but if you insist on having something for formal to call me by, you may refer to me as Sir Frank of the Ancient Highland Clan McTavish.

Talk about stupid is as stupid does, Frank No-Name, I have already asked you politely to stop insulting me by referring to me by my surname without a “Mr.” or my first name attached.

Given the fact that you are now also demeaning my personal ethnicity and making false allegations that I may be a terrorist, you are now HARASSING me. I suggest that you stop now.

Sharon, I didn’t find them to be rude at DeGaulle.

Mrs. Bukko and I flew out of there two weeks ago during the Air France strike. Lots of flights were cancelled, but we lucked out and our midnight vol to Singapore was on. There were union officials roaming around the airport passing out sandwiches, soda and bottled water to the people in the scrum waiting to see if they could get outta town. (We were able to, darn it! What a shame it would have been to be stranded an extra day in Paris—NOT!) Because of the hassle caused by the strike, the airline check-in clerks didn’t charge us any excess baggage fees for the 12-bottle wooden crate of wine, the 6-bottle cardboard box of wine, and the three-bottle Styrofoam shipping container of wine. Much nice than Aussie customs, which nailed us for $561 in duty…

So I have nothing bad to say about the DeGaulle airport staff. Sarko, now he’s another story.

Another world leader cozies up to someone who’s directly and indirectly responsible for perhaps a million deaths and untold misery in Iraq based on lies. Do any of these leaders have any morality anymore...or is it just a little club they belong to that the rest of us aren’t good enough to join…

The Fox News cabal and especially Bill-0 must be levitating about GW’s newfound poodle. Bill-0 needs to officially lift the sanctions he imposed on French exports because of its original anti-Iraq invasion policy. Who knows, perhaps an invitation by Bill-0 for Sarkozy to appear on his program may inspire warmer Franco-American relations. Yet, more important, is that GW invite the poodle for a walk at Camp David where diplomacy could induce the introduction of the French Foreign Legion to replace the Blackwater contractors. At least the Legion has oversight and leadership. And if it should succumb to any misdeeds, GW can blame his poodle.

Or, perhaps, he just sincerely likes Americans!  Now, if he could just convince the very rude people who work in DeGaulle Airport that Americans are deserving of respect, navigating that airport could become a lot more pleasant.

If his mother is Jewish then I believe he thinks of himself as Jewish - no matter what religion he has a “front.”

And whenever he says “America” he means “Israel” and his message is really to Israel.

He came to America to show Israel how grateful he is for the support of France’s Jewish community for helping him win the French election.

He’s not reassuring any one about any friendship.

For political reasons in France he is likely not able to go directly to Israel and make a similar speech - yet.

What does’s America need France for except to become another ardent supporter of Israel and to join and help us in our destruction of Iran and Syria’s nuclear facilities - and any thing else we need to do for Israel in Israel’s region - the Middle East..

Sarkozy is not yet able for political reasons to commit the French people fully to Israel’s goals (like America) and to help make the French as subservient to Israel as we are.

Not just yet - but you can be sure he will work on that and that is the message he’s sending to Israel by speaking in Washington and reassuring America - Israel’s principal puppet - of France’s commitment to America - Israel’s Prinicpal Puppet.

And it is not surprising that Bush and Congress acted so warmly towards him. Unlike Israel - America isn’t a “jealous” nation. America is a “loving nation” (except when it comes to those nation’s resisting our and Israel’s “advances") and noticeably “madly in love” with our Puppet Master.

AIPAC was probably conscientious enough to advice Congress in advance of Sarkozy’s visit.

And reassure us that although France had now joined the “puppet troop” and was now a full fledged Israeli puppet - we - would remain Israel’s “Principal Puppet” and “Main Squeeze.”

This shows me - and anyone who is still sane - another reason why Israel - and her puppets - are so concerned about nations that resist becoming “civilized” i.e., another Israeli puppet.

Any politician or political leader in the world that appears to have any intelligence and sanity and wants his nation to be truly free and truly independent of any outside pressure and coercion is a danger and a threat to Israel.

If Israel can’t “civilize” - bring a country into subservience - using their own means and methods in that particular country - the Israelis will use their Principal Puppet and ancillary puppets - America, France, England, etc. and make them “civilize” the country for them.

For any one still sane in this world (and it is getting more and more difficult to remain sane since the Israelis are incessantly debauching reality) it is obvious that the Israelis won’t be happy until they have driven all of mankind - not just America and the “civilized west” but everyone - all of mankind - insane.

Why?

Because when everyone has been driven insane there won’t be anyone left on earth who will actually know the difference between right from wrong, ethical from unethical.

The Israelis want to debauch reality worldwide - not just here in America - and thus drive mankind - i.e., the “goy” - drive them insane enough to the point where all of mankind - not just America - is too cowed - (like in “goy” or “cattle”in Hebrew) - to resist them any longer. And will not longer be conscious of right from wrong, ethical from unethical. Like Israel is today.

Everyone around the world will be like contented cattle, grazing, with their tails wagging (wagging a lot when provided with a lot of green grass) - all oblivious to the fact that we are being overseen and managed - either by Israel or by our own country - Israel’s Principal Puppet.

Does anyone else get a “1984” feeling from our view of the French? And Sarkozy?

We had our “15 minute hate” of France when Jacques Chirac hinted (correctly) that invading Iraq was a really stupid idea. Congress, in an act of supreme idiocy, even renamed French Fries “Freedom Fries.”

Now, France is our eternal ally!

Down with Oceania! Long live Eastasia! Eastasia has always been our friend!
