sept 11 2001 is vividly ensconsed in my memory.it was a day when the teller at my bank yelled, at 9;30 am, “have you heard,we’re at war”. my first thought was, oh my god bush has invaded panama, again, or maybe he invaded grenada, again, or maybe he invaded iraq, again. or maybe he was caught selling more arms to iran to help those sweet contras. kinda hard to separate bush one and two in my mind, since they are both war mongers trying to keep up their poll numbers[yeah i do know, ray-gun was the one doing the invading in grenada] but bushco 1 and 2 are the extensions of ray-gun policy,so there is no difference, except bush II is trying to work out major oedipal problems with our tax money. then i turned on the car radio,a device i never use. my next thought; oh my god, bush is really trying to up his poll numbers and is willing to kill innocent people to do it. and later on tv, i watched the buildings come down in what was clearly a controlled explosion. and i asked myself;"how are they going to explain this away”? 6 years later i realized they did the seeming impossible, they fooled all of the people for a very long time.
