Victor Alarcon and others in his battalion, who in Saturday’s Washington Post give their frank, and stark, assessment of the situation in Baghdad’s Sadiyah district.

By Pacrat, October 28, 2007 at 8:11 am # ABOUT TIME! It is time to listen to the soldiers in the field - not the generals or the politicians who visit the “Green Zone” and, if they leave, are accompanied by helicopters, snipers and humvees fore and aft. What do these creeps know about what the military faces every day? How can anyone “kill or be killed” when he knows that it is a phony war - especially one that is trumped up by a kid who wants to upstage daddy? If this why soldiers die or are wounded - or return home with post traumatic syndrome even if their limbs are intact? Any what about their families? It’s time to listen to the people in the field and their loved ones. Add Your Comment |
