Rice Takes a Licking in CongressPosted on Oct 25, 2007Typically cool as a cucumber, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice struggled to hold it together Thursday as members of the House Oversight Committee let her have it on everything from the enormous, expensive and incomplete U.S. Embassy in Baghdad to Blackwater’s killing spree. Committee Chairman Henry Waxman said of the secretary’s performance: “I think there was a huge gap between what she said and reality.” Washington Post: At a hearing by a congressional watchdog committee, Democratic lawmakers said the State Department under Rice had been too lax with armed security contractors, ignored corruption at the highest levels of the Iraqi government and was sloppy in overseeing construction of the costly new U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. “I think there was a huge gap between what she said and reality,” said Rep. Henry Waxman, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Waxman, D-Calif., and other Democrats said they would not call on Rice to resign, noting that their frustration is with the Bush administration’s policies rather than Rice alone. The most incompetent Secretary of State and National Security Advisor this nation has ever known can only lie to cover up her incompetency. Her failures of 9-11 is just as responsible for 9-11 as the terrorists who committed the act. When she said “Who could have known that they would hijack planes and fly them into buildings” was was the biggest failure of incompetency of our intelligence that this country has ever seen. The intelligence reports told her that the terrorists were planning that. So after that failure, she gets promoted to Secretary of State, instead of being fired. As the nations top Diplomat, she has promoted more war than peace, and she is responsible for the prolonged unnecessary war in Lebanon. Also her failure to negotiate with Iran is allowing another country to become a nuclear power, due to her and Bush constant threats. She is responsible for the Billions lost, wasted and stolen in Iraq,as well as her failure to oversee the mercenary armies that are killing innocent civilians has cost her and our nation it’s credibility. She allows Israel to bomb and kill who ever they choose without any repercussions, and she fails to be a honest broker in negotiations for middle east peace. So the question becomes what has she done for Bush or to Bush to keep her job.

Never Apologize for Telling the Truth
Pete, Nancy, George and WW III
By CINDY SHEEHAN
“You don’t have money to fund the war or children. But you’re going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president’s amusement.”
—Pete Stark (D-Ca)
“While Members of Congress are passionate about their views what Congressman Stark said during the debate was inappropriate.”
—Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, (D-Ca)
“But this—we got a leader in Iran who has announced that he wants to destroy Israel. So I’ve told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from have (sic) the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”
—George Bush
I cheered inside my head when I heard, Rep. Stark unbelievably utter his words condemning the murderous acts of BushCo on the House floor and I was impressed with his candor, compassion and what I consider an appropriate amount of rage and honesty. How many of us were not thinking the same thing about the S-CHIP votes? I knew, however, that it would not be long until Pete Stark had to apologize and it happened today.
I believe that Speaker Pelosi’s comments about Rep. Stark were utterly inappropriate and out of line. I believe that when she said that impeachment was “off the table,” her remarks were not only inappropriate but also antithetical to our Constitution and directly in opposition to why the people of this country put Democrats back in power.
We may remind the Speaker of some of the things George has said: He told us that Saddam was able to reach the Eastern part of the US with drones that contained either chemical or biological weapons; that the smoking gun might come in the form of a “mushroom cloud” and that Saddam was also seeking significant amounts of “yellow cake uranium.” George and his co-criminals also told us over and over again the 9-11 was the justification for an attack on Iraq because Saddam had something to do with 9-11.
It is imperative that Ms. Pelosi be a true leader and lead the charge to impeach the liars, or at least get the hell out of the way so they can be impeached. I buried my son for no logical, moral or truthful reason for God’s sake, and she has neither the integrity or fortitude to finally say that BushCo has to be stopped before George is the instigator for Armageddon.,”

When I read the title to this article, the image it brought to mind kind of made me nauseous. But just thinking of Rice can kind of do that.

Well, we now know that she is not just a programmed robot, as some have suspected. A robot would never lose its cool. So, I guess she’s a real, living and breathing, war criminal who will require food in prison rather than a battery charge!

Committee Chairman Henry Waxman said of the secretarys performance: I think there was a huge gap between what she said and reality.
In other words, shes LYING, LYING, LYING, which is of course her stock in trade.
The usually unflappable Rice became frustrated at several points, including a tense exchange with Welch on whether al-Maliki was corrupt. Since April, the prime minister has required that Cabinet-level corruption investigations first receive his approval. Such a policy, Welch and other Democrats say, is tantamount to blanket immunity for al-Maliki and his ministers.
Dont we need to remember that Maliki was HER CHOICE, along with that other criminal Zalmay Khalilzad then US ambassador to Iraq, (as well as a signatory to the PNAC document)? Because, thats how he came to be, after she and Khalilzad ran the first PM, Ayad Allawi out of dodge, to replace him with Maliki. Obviously she and her masters believed that Maliki could be corrupted to serve their own ends, since Allawi proved NOT to be. So, if Maliki is corrupt, (and it would certainly appear to be the case) its because HE is who the Cabal decided on, thinking they could have an agreeable partner in crime, in stealing the oil. I guess he fooled her and her masters. Sort of backfired on Condi, eh? No doubt Cheney isnt the least bit happy with her either, but who else would serve as their agenda-advancing scapegoat? We know Colin Powell bailed out, (along with a little help from Condi herself).
So, in addition to being unqualified, inefficient, sloppy, and all of the rest, shes continued to make a total ass of herself by making it clear that shell advance the neoconners agenda at any cost, even to herself. (except of course shes probably too stupid to even realize that).
When repeatedly pressed to say whether she thought al-Maliki was covering up fraud and abuse, Rice said she would not respond to rumors.
“To assault the prime minister of Iraq or anyone else in Iraq with here-to-date unsubstantiated allegations or lack of corroboration, in a setting that would simply fuel those allegations, I think, would be deeply damaging,” she said.
Wait!!! Is this not the SAME Maliki whose brains she threatened to beat out? I mean, he STILL hasnt delivered the oil.
Rice Says Hole in U.S. Law Shields Contractors in Iraq
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/26/washington/26contractor.html?ex=1351051200&en=64aeca607a2c32d6&ei=5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss
Man oh man, what a LIAR she is. A HOLE in U.S. law .who the hell does she think shes kidding? If theres a hole its because theyve rammed a nuclear bomb through our entire legal system, and because the laws for these contractors were written EXPLICITY to allow them to operate with impunity in Iraq, and to not have to answer for it in ANY legal system.
Condi is more full of shit than a Christmas turkey. But then, what else should we expect?
