Shooting at Cleveland High School

A gunman went on a shooting rampage in a high school in downtown Cleveland on Wednesday. The gunman, who aimed shots at several people before killing himself, had apparently made threats at SuccessTech Academy last week. According to Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, three teenagers and two adults were injured.

AP via My Way News:

Tammy Mundy, 38, who has a son and daughter at the school, told The Plain Dealer that her daughter called when the shooting started.

“She said, ‘Mom they’re shooting in here, kids are running out, I’m hiding in the closet,’” Mundy told the newspaper.

Then she called her 18-year-old son, Darnell Rodgers, on his cell phone, and he told her he had been shot in the arm.

“He said, ‘Mom, I got shot,’” Mundy told the newspaper.

Ahhh, America.
Land of the brave and free.
Where the NRA, God, Apple Pie and Mom stand for all things patriotic and good.

Well unless you don’t have a Mom.
Or Apple Pie, or even anything to eat.
And don’t believe there is a God. Or at least one that cares about you.

But the NRA is eternal! The ONE group in America that wants a level playing field for all!

Fulfilling the American dream.
Two guns in every garage ... and bedroom ... and car .... and back alley ... and backpack ... and ...
working hard to make sure there are more than enough guns for all!

Ahhh, America.
Land of opportunity.
Where dreams of profit and power do come true.
Just ask the NRA.

Another school shooting by a student with a history of disturbed behavior. When are we going to realize the common factors that create school violence? Ok, what was the psychiatrist’s name who was treating him? What mix of psychotropic drugs was he taking. What was the dosage? Did he miss a dose or did he overdose?
