Haaretz’s Gideon Levy takes a personal and heartbreaking look at some of the 92 Palestinian children who were killed in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during the last Jewish calendar year.

Haaretz:

The day after Rosh Hashanah we traveled to Rafah. Dam Hamad, 14, had been killed in her sleep, in her mother’s arms, by an Israeli rocket strike that sent a concrete pillar crashing down on her head. She was the only daughter of her paralyzed mother, her whole world. In the family’s impoverished home in the Brazil neighborhood, at the edge of Rafah, we met the mother who lay in a heap in bed; everything she had in the world was gone. Outside, I remarked to the reporter from French television who accompanied me that this was one of those moments when I felt ashamed to be an Israeli. The next day he called and said: “They didn’t broadcast what you said, for fear of the Jewish viewers in France.”

Soon afterward we went back to Jerusalem to visit Maria Aman, the amazing little girl from Gaza, who lost nearly everyone in her life to a missile strike gone awry that wiped out her innocent family, including her mother, while riding in their car. Her devoted father Hamdi remains by her side. For a year and a half, she has been cared for at the wonderful Alyn Hospital, where she has learned to feed a parrot with her mouth and to operate her wheelchair using her chin. All the rest of her limbs are paralyzed. She is connected day and night to a respirator. Still, she is a cheerful and neatly groomed child whose father fears the day they might be sent back to Gaza.

For now, they remain in Israel. Many Israelis have devoted themselves to Maria and come to visit her regularly. A few weeks ago, broadcast journalist Leah Lior took her in her car to see the sea in Tel Aviv. It was a Saturday night, and the area was crowded with people out for a good time, but the girl in the wheelchair attracted attention. Some people recognized her and stopped to say hello and wish her well. Who knows? Maybe the pilot who fired the missile at her car happened to be passing by, too.

One would think, after all the Jews have been through, no one would be more sensitized to human suffering than them.  But as history has proved:  The Brutalized often become the Brutes.

The Palestinians are responsible for their own suffering. If the PA would not use it kids for Human shields and take most of the money it receives in aid to buy weapons instead of food and medical supplies more Palestinian kids would be alive today.

The actions of Israel are provoked by the PA.
Question where do the Palestinian in Gaza get their electricity, 2/3 from Israel , 1/3 from Egypt. What does the Hamas do with that electricity. they use it manufacture rockets to attack Israel and to broadcast Antisemitic propaganda. Where does the PA receive it’s gas and diesel fuel, from Israel without paying for it.
No other nation in the world would be so kind to the very people who have promised to destroy them

The common opinion amongst Israelis sadly is “Its either them or us” as regards their Arab (Christain + Moslem) brothers and sisters who they stole the land of Palestine from (with US and EU help).

Who else (in the WhiteHouse) subscribes to actively using the same idology???

I think the biggest racist is you.
Have a good look in the mirror.
You will see a Text Book definition of a Fascist staring back at you.

Israel’s purity?  or putridness?  Zionists started car bombs, killed Palestinians and British, all for a dream that we are to believe is threatened by Palestinian having children.  The Israeli dream?  Just who the fuck do these circumsized pieces of shit think they are that they can claim to have a dream that relieves them of decency and respect for their fellow human beings?  It’s an eye opener to see the stupid crap that AIPAC hacks put up here self-righteously.  Hitler did not get the right ones.

The foolishness of the left never ceases to surprise me.

It all rests on the fundamental premise of self-determination for Jews. This sewer mouthpiece of the left with the fatuous and oxymoronic title TruthDig ALWAYS has a smear piece to try to delegitimize the right of the Jews to sovereignty in their homeland.

I take the Truth<strike>Dig</strike>Crap anti-Israel campaign for what it is - a lashing out at the realization of the Jewish dream of returning to Israel, and as a sign of the abject failure of the left’s latent anti-Jewish bigotry.

As Israel endures and prospers, the left seethes and resents. They should get used to it.

The foolishness of the left never ceases to surprise me.

First off the in the 1930 & 40 the Jews never were a threat to the German state.

The palestinians were, are and will continue to be a threat to the Jews.

The Jews in WWII were deliberate targets of the Nazis
The so called palestinians that are killed are accidents resulting from war which the Palestinians started and continue

I have always been amazed that Israel can be so eager to remind the rest of world of it’s holocaust that took place 65 Years ago, and yet, they ignore the holocaust they perpeutrate in the West Bank and Gaza to their arab neighbors on a near daily basis. Truly a double-standard if their ever was one.

ZIONISM INTRODUCES TERRORISM IN PALESTINE

January 3-10, 1948 , Palestine. Extensive Jewish Agency purchases of US. war surplus high explosives with which to fight Arabs were disclosed in the New York City area. While 191 tons of TNT and the more powerful M-3 were seized before shipment, 73 tons cleared New York for Palestine. The TNT shipment was accidentally discovered when longshore men loading the American Export Lines freighter “Executor” in Jersey City on January 3, dropped a box marked “industrial machinery” and while attempting to repair the box, found cans of TNT bearing US. Army markings. The “machinery” proved to be 32 1/2 tons of TNT, which the US. Customs impounded as contraband because of the ban on American arms shipments to the Middle East On January 10, the FBI was attempting to trace the source of the contraband. The Jewish Agency for Palestine acknowledged on January 10 that it had purchased 199 tons of M-3 from the War Assets Administration at the Army’s Seneca Ordnance Depot near Romulous, New York Federal and state agents recovered 126 tons from a farmhouse and trucks near Asbury Park, New Jersey, and Barclay Heights and Saugerties, New York on January 8-9 but 73 tons were believed to be en route to Palestine. The Jewish Agency called its transaction with the WAA legal, admitted having set up “Foundry Associates, Inc.” in New York with a Haganah agent in charge, to buy explo-sives for their war on the Arabs. The FBI said Leonard Weisman, president of three New York firms (Pratt Steamship Line, Material Redistribution Corporation and Paragon Design and Development Co.) gave the Haganah agent office space but did nothing illegal. WAA stopped all deliveries on unfulfilled orders on January 9 in the New York area. It said Foundry Associates, Inc., had sworn that it was a normal trader in explosives, thereby qualifying to buy the M-3, and that the export question was a US. Department of State matter.

January 5, 1948, Jerusalem. 15 Arabs were killed after Haganah bombed the Semiramis Hotel.

January 13, 1948 . Washington. The US. War Assets Administration received orders from Army Secretary Kenneth Royal to cancel its sale of 199 tons of M-3 explosive to a purchasing agent of the Jewish Agency, which got 73 tons out of the country before the rest was seized.

January 14-15, 1948 , New York The FBI arrested six Newark men on charges of trying to ship Haganah 60,000 pounds of TNT, which was seized in Jersey City after having been bought from the Letterkenny Arsenal Ordnance Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

February 10, 1948 , Palestine. Jewish terrorist groups murdered ten Arabs near an RAF camp in central Palestine A further 23 Arabs were murdered by Jewish groups throughout Palestine

March 5, 1948 , Jerusalem. The Jewish Agency stated that large-scale Jewish arms shipments were ready in various Mediterranean ports destined for the arming of Jewish partisans in Palestine to “fight and drive out” the Arab popu-lation of what the Agency stated “was eternal Jewish land” that could not be occupied by either the British or the Arabs.

March 12, 1948 , New York Columnist Drew Pearson said in his “Washington Merry-Go-Round” column that President Harry Truman had given Democratic party leaders the following reason for holding back on enforcement of Palestine partition after having championed this in the UN last year: Russia was after a US. Army-built railroad north from the Persian Gulf, plus all Arab oil regions and the Eastern Mediterranean. On March, Pearson had stated in the same forum that President Truman had told a New York publisher that New York Jews were “disloyal” to the United States.

April 9, 1948 , Washington The US. Department of State refused to lift its embargo on arms shipments to the Middle East

April 9, 1948 , Jerusalem. Irgun and Stern gang terrorists stormed an Arab suburb of Jerusalem, Deir Yasin, killing 250 Arabs, half of them women and children.
