Lets not go running off on conspiracies. At least not without examing what makes sense. There are some pretty good reasons to think this is a good old-fashioned screwup. (The worst Nuke screwup in decades, if not ever).

In light of the Bush crime family/Iran-Contra treason, there’s better reason to think that this is just a good ol’ fashioned arms deal.  The Bush crime family is counting on the stupidity of the American base - good ol’ fashioned, ignorant, christian, morons.

Agreed! So, perhaps these nukes weren’t earmarked for use on Iran, but for sale to Iran!  Didn’t the Bush crime family do this once before?  Oh yes, the Iran/Contra treason . . . right under the brainstem, Reagan’s, nose.

It becomes all the more plausible when you remember that Iran has the oil money to corrupt the any U.S. agency or government official it wants.  The notion that Iran could buy - from the most corrupt U.S. government in history - what they aren’t smart enough to make, isn’t that far fetched.

Look at what the Saudis have bought from the U.S.!  The fact that they happen to be arab, islamist, fundamentalist, terrorists makes no difference to the Bush family and their kind.  Business is business, oil is oil, money is money, and Iran has lots of oil and money!

So this unaware pilot landed in Louisiana not knowing nukes aboard? Find it hard to believe. Now what country is closer than Iran that we might test drive these ALCM’s on? One we are not currently actively destroying at this time.

The issue with this whole debacle as well as all the rest of them, is that after the neocons took control the INCREDULOUS has turned out to be TRUE!

Secretive and suspicious activities are consistently turning up.  There are still many serious unanswered allegations concerning 911 attack, corporate fraud, voting fraud, illegal toxic dumping, an illegal war, the undermining of the constitution, illegal wiretapping, etc..etc.  Where or when will the list end.  The neocons undermined almost all the departments put in place to be a check or balance for every other department.

The best thing we can do is put our collective heads together and keep coming up with THEORIES and piece meal this thing together.  We have EVERY reason to believe that a conspiracy is taking place.

Let’s say you are Rambo holding a belt-fed machine gun and you want to “mow down” that dastardly enemy.  You have a choice of a belt of ammunition with 100 bullets… and a choice of a belt of ammunition with 500 bullets.  Which one would you pick?

Don’t think in terms of “where they are"… think in terms of “how many are there?”

i assumed we had nukes all over the mideast,for years. i assumed that our carriers,already in the persian gulf,to be loaded with nukes. let’s not forget our good friends in isreal. so,what’s a few more? i find it very amusing that this story leaked out. osama’s new tape was really amusing too. does he really still use tape? the man has a satellite phone and the internet for christ’s sake. i have a really good spare webcam that he’s welcome to, he has to pay the fedex.

True… but, that is assuming that the weapons are meant for a strike on IRAN.

I speculate in `The Perfect Storm; oil, nuclear weapons, and Israel` that these nuclear missiles aren’t to strike Iran, but, to be front loaded as a threat to Russia and China to stay out of the Middle East as we take over the oil.

In any case, ALCM Air Launched Cruise Missles would be a poor choice for an attack on Iran. The supposed targets in Iran need low yeield bunkerbuster type weapons, these babies are not that. Worse, they travel slowly, and are somewhat vulnerable to anti-aircraft fire. It would be really ironic if we sent these babies into Iran to destroy their Nuke capabilities, and then have one shot down, and the Iranians in possesion of an advanced Nuke weapon!

So serious screwup for sure, not a Bush/Cheney secret plan. The military has seriously downgraded the status of those tending the Nukes, in favor of sending anyone who isn’t a pilot to join the surge. This is likely a result of that downgrading of the function.

Some have almost proven out, others seem to have died a natural death and others linger on.
This Administration with its love of secrecy, actually a need for secrecy since they seldom have any clue what they are actually causing, has re-ignited many old ones and spawned countless new ones.
The main figures, Shrub the cheerful idiot and the Shootist, a greedy evil person in the flesh, are almost straight from Central Casting for these theories to gain momentum.
I would dearly hope that it takes more than the authority of some AF officer, even of Staff rank, in order for Nuclear Weapons to be moved cross country.
But at least in this instance, someone higher than a Sgt. was ‘punished’. Or so we are told. But, we have been lied to before, and often.
