Alea iacta est:  Ali Hassan al-Majid, shown here during his trial in January 2007, is a cousin of Saddam Hussein.

The remaining days of Ali Hassan al-Majid, aka “Chemical Ali,” are numbered.  More specifically, after an Iraqi court upheld his June sentence, al-Majid, who earned his nickname by playing a key role in the gassing deaths of some 100,000 Kurds in 1988, has 30 days or less to live.

BBC:

Majid is currently also on trial for the brutal suppression of a Shia uprising in southern Iraq after the first Gulf War in 1991.

Too bad the Iraqis’ can’t get the Shrub and his sycophants over there to stand trial.
As for the Shrub waiting til the end of his term in office to attack Iran—-on the one hand, it denies him a chance to be another war president; on the other it would sure leave a bigger mess for the next President.
As twisted as Shrubs’ mind is, it’s a coin toss.

Didn’t we sell or give weapons to Iraq back in the day. Surely we gave them some chemicals as well. Should we send a token to hang? Maybe cheney or rumsfield.

Nothing like a well timed-killing to bring out the Bushies!

As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if
George and the Dick gives orders to hit Iran on their last night in the White House.

One final farewell shot to humanity.
