He Works Hard for the Money

The innovator of the Snow job says he’ll be leaving the White House before George W. Bush, but it won’t be for health reasons: “I’ve told people when my money runs out, then I’ve got to go.” Press secretary Tony Snow’s spintastic rhetorical flair will surely be missed by a president always in need of damage control and a blogosphere that has grown attached to those “did he just say that?” moments.

Reuters via Yahoo!:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - White House spokesman Tony Snow plans to leave his job before U.S. President George W. Bush’s term ends in January 2009, citing financial reasons rather than his recurrence of colon cancer.

In a radio interview this week, Snow, 52, did not reveal when he would leave. Snow earlier this year suffered a return of colon cancer and has been receiving chemotherapy.

Good grief! You can’t be implying that the GOP’ers have high moral values? Where have you been these last few years? With all that corruption, divorces, lying, etc., surrounding the GOP, you can’t be serious? If your post was just satire, well....

Tony Snow is a good and decent man and I wish him only the nest.
I find the vicious and demeaning things being said about him here disgraceful, but not surprising given the lack of morality on the left.

The main function of this human filth is not to lie directly, but to cover-up the truth with diversions.  While they are chattering, the Republican crooks are looting the treasury.

It will be hard to find a liar as good as Tony Snow.I say forget Ann Coulter and Hannity lets get the big tuna in front of the press.I say Rush Limbaugh is ideal for the job.First of all he is a world class liar and pretty well connected to the drug culture if any of the remaining Bush staffers need some help keeping that conscience under control.I am thinking Laura would be a prime candidate for drugs it looks like her hell will continue after his Presidency is over.

It takes a fatal disease to get rid of this filth.  People like Rove still stick to the shoe.

I think Tony Snow is dying. Maybe he just can’t lie any more.

They already said his cancer is inoperable. It’s only a matter of time.

Vietnam Vet
First, Thanks and I’m glad you made it back to the big PX.
Now, onto Tony; he knew exactly was he was getting into, having quit Faux News to take this job.
I sincerely regret that he has Cancer. I wouldn’t wish that on the Shrub, even.
And Chemo takes a lot out of a person.
Having to deal with Shrubs’ flights from reality and bald faced lies is bad enough, without adding Chemo.

And Debra, this administration will grasp at anything or stoop to any depths, if it seems like it might help them.
The fact that nothing will help them is lost on them.
So if you see Annie girl undoing the buttons on her blouse and wearing a micro-mini commando style, don’t be that surprised.
Shrub would square that with his Christian base the same as he squared grabbing Lauras’ butt on National TV---God didn’t strike me dead, so he must approve.
Understand that she got to wear the War President/Commander in Chief Guy pajamas’ for the next week, with him saluting her at bedtime.

Hell, I can understand why he wants to leave and its not all about money. Standing up there and lying day after day is a back breaking job, not to mention the wear and tear on one’s conscience. That would be hard on someone not ailing with cancer. Then, there’s the lose of self respect...everyone needs to protect that part of your self! Mr. Snow just didn’t fully realize what he was getting in to when he joined jumped on the Bush band wagon.

They (TD) have a real good filter set up to staop any post from Cyrena.
She sent me a message to be cut and pasted on TD and when I try, it never appears.
Shame on TD for their blacklisting her and allowing some mindless fools to continue posting their venon.

As the rats jump ship, I can only dream the shrub “Bush” will jump ship. How does a man without his little buddies covering his screw ups, telling him what to do, what to say, survive without his brain ‘Rove’ and the cover man ‘Snow.’
Let’s hope we soon will also be rid of Gonzales.

As for that poor excuse of a human being Coulter, “not even this administration is stupid enough to put that tart in front of a camera.”

The rats are jumping the burning ship. Snow melts.I always thought that Tony Snow was a computer generated hologram with his stone face that never changes from one coverup to the next all the while relaying these fantastic fables fabricated by these fools.I didn’t know they renewed the 80s tv series “Coverups From the Darkside”.

As for Anne Coulter as a replacement. That bimbo seems so over the top of insanity that she should have her vocal cords clipped and put in a designer straitjacket. Which, by the way, an old college friend and I thought would make a good business venture in the 70’s after Nixon and during Reagans reign of delusions.Custom orders only.

It would seem that there is a time limit on how long one can respond with the ‘approved’ response and keep a straight face.
Makes it look bad when ones’ spokesperson starts giggling while justifying another of ones’ wild ideas.
