Report thisMany thanks for that link. I farm and don’t always have free time, plus I am on dialup out here in the country. Economy is going so good that I have no money to get satellite service and DSLain’t available,so my searches are very slow.
I really appreciate this and other links that have been posted.

For those interested in a psychological analysis of warmongering, I have recently completed a 10-minute online video entitled Resisting the Drums of War. It examines how the Bush administration has promoted the misguided and destructive war in Iraq by targeting five core concerns that often govern our lives—concerns about vulnerability, injustice, distrust, superiority, and helplessness. Looking ahead, the continuing occupation of Iraq—or an attack on Iran—will likely be sold to us in much the same way. The video examines these warmongering appeals and how to counter them. Its available for viewing HERE.

There is a petition at this site to end the electoral college:

Aside from that, I totally agree. Every time GW and Darth are in a jamb, they attempt to buy someone off (with the TAXPAYER’S MONEY no less) or they “lower themselves” and actually appoint someone who knows what they’re doing!

hmmm, now that his handling of the situation has resulted in it being declared fubar, he wants the UN to come in.
Report thisI remember that he fought (verbally, naturally) against Colin Powell going to the UN to ask for sanctions, as that would delay his ego war.
Been a common refrain for the Shrub. He starts a venture and it goes belly up or someone else has to come in and make it work.
That was why I was so sure that he couldn’t have been elected. And if’n it weren’t for the confounded Electoral College, he wouldn’t have been appointed.
Al Gore got more votes, just not in the “right” states.
Can anyone else see why the Electoral College needs to be halted as outdated?

It seems that the U.S. is hell bent on using the U.N. for its own purposes, over the objections of other nations. The Korean head of U.N. is another poodle wagging hos tail in submission to the master.
