Giuliani’s Daughter Backs Obama?

Giuliani

While it’s no secret that presidential contender Rudy Giuliani has had his share of family difficulties, his daughter’s Facebook profile, which has since been taken down, is raising eyebrows. Caroline Giuliani, 17, described her political views as “liberal” and said she was a member of the largest Barack Obama support group on Facebook.

New York Times:

As word of her supposed Democratic allegiances ricocheted across the Internet after the online magazine Slate broke the news, visitors to her profile found that she had already moved to alter history. She quit the Obama fan club at 6:01 a.m., and, after Slate posted its article, she took down her entire page.

Mr. Giuliani alluded to his daughter’s differing political outlook during a campaign stop in Iowa, noting, with apparent regret, that his children “don’t work on my campaign.”

“My daughter, my daughter I love very much; I have great respect for her and I’m really proud of her,” he said. “I don’t comment on children because I want to give them the maximum degree of privacy.” Mr Obama, who was campaigning in Le Mars, Iowa, was asked what he thought about the support from such an unexpected corner.

“That’s very nice,” Mr. Obama said. “We think it’s wonderful that we are attracting support from young people all across the country. I can’t wait to meet her.”

Good for her!  Stand up and be heard.  Caroline, I’m sure you are getting alot of flak for this, however you have every right to an opinion.  Good for you, YES, the young people SPEAK!

Remember Caroline, if you make yourself into a rug, people will walk all over you.

Giuliani was a liberal democrat most of his young life before senility set in so his daughter is a chip off the old block. If we are looking for a negotiator in our next President maybe we should pass on Giuliani. If you cannot negotiate with your own daughter to not support your opponents what luck is he going to have with Kim Jung Il.Maybe if Obama wins the presidency he can give her a job in the White House. So at least Rudy’s dream of having a Giuliani in the White House will not be completely dead.

What did rotten Rudy expect from the child whose mother he publicly humiliated to wed a puppy killer?

It wasn’t as though this weasel had a snowball’s chance in hell of getting his party’s nomination anyway. Too many folks recall that when he was mayor, the terrorists did win.

Even his daughter doesn’t like him, so why do we ?

The Mayor who knew best how to use government funds to please his girl friends then betrayed his wife.

Could we trust that damned guy ? Absolutely no !

She hasn’t removed her profile.  She changed her last name (as it shows up on Facebook), but her profile still exists.

Despite the fact that I think he is not a viable Presidential candidate, I can empathize with him over what a young person will do, and for the damnedest reasons.
