 Cheney a ‘Big Fan’ of GonzalesPosted on Jul 31, 2007
Although Alberto Gonzales’ critics might say otherwise about the attorney general, Vice President Dick Cheney thinks Gonzales is a real standup guy. In an interview with CBS, Cheney insisted that Gonzales has been telling the truth in his face-offs with the Senate Judiciary Committee and said he’s a “big fan” of the beleaguered attorney general.

I gave Cheney more credit than being a big fan of Gonzo only because I thought he knows and appreciates a major league liar when he sees one. After all he looks at himself in a mirror every day. Gonzo is minor league all the way.

“...Cheney said the attorney general has the support of the only man who really counts.”
And there, in a nutshell, is the fundamental attitudinal fault that defines the G. W. Bush administration. In the USA the “only man who really counts” is supposed to be THE PEOPLE. The AG and even the President of the day are only TERM CONTRACT EMPLOYEES - temps!
Most temps I know are at the BOTTOM of the pecking order, not the top.

The title just as well have been Cheney is a big fan of breathing.
Report thisOf Course he likes the Brown One. Heres a wetback who knows his place and does exactly as his betters tell him to do.
Hopefully, it would be difficult to find a white male that would be so obliging so often, especially where the rule of law is supposed to come into play.
But as the son of an illegal immigrant, who received a free education, the Brown One knows that laws apply only to Democrat’s and other opponents of the Republican’s.

Cheney is a big fan of Gonzales.Lucky Alberto he has the least popular man in politics on his side.I wonder if he is a big enough fan of Gonzales to walk in with him if he is impeached.
