The mosque’s prayer hall was destroyed by the powerful blast.

A devastating explosion near a Shiite mosque in the center of Baghdad has killed at least 78 people and injured more than 200. The mosque’s imam said the attack was carried out by “sick souls” who targeted worshipers as they left the prayer hall. Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said that such attacks have “scarred the beautiful face of Baghdad by destroying the religious landmarks it has known over the centuries.”

BBC:

At least 78 people have been killed and another 218 injured in a truck bomb attack near a Shia mosque in the centre of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The massive explosion in the busy Sinak commercial district destroyed part of the al-Khilani mosque and sent large clouds of black smoke into the air.

It was the latest in a series of recent attacks on Shia and Sunni mosques.

“the goal is total chaos…the rabble of the entire glob in perpetual war and mutual hatred; leaving us all desperate for their “peacekeeping.” The Global War Of Terror is scheduled for 100 years.” blog dog

What I don’t understand, blog dog, is what whoever is behind the promotion of global chaos expects to get from it. In your scenario you may be correct that we will all hunger for their “peacekeeping” but with what will we pay for it?

I mean if I, my friends and family, my community and country are in a perpetual state of “chaos” just where is the profit in that? Nothing will be produced. There will be no money. There will be no profit to be had for very long. The only thing the promotors of chaos will gain if they succeed is chaos.

What you describe is mass insanity on a global scale. I don’t completely discount your theory.

Luckily I’m at an age where I just don’t give a damn anymore. There is nothing that I can envision that I can do to help the situation. I live in a cabin in the woods miles from my nearest neighbors. I hope to have returned to the cosmic dust from whence I cometh before “chaos” crosses my property line.

Is anyone else confused?  As of June ll, this year, the American military is arming Sunnis who vow to rid their neighborhoods of Al Quaeda types.

Can we suppose that those “arms” ended up blowing up the Shite mosque?

(And then there’s Operation Arrowhead Rip {or is that Ripper}.  Got to wonder who the over-paid knucklehead sitting in the Pentagon is who thinks THESE things up.)

We all know what the Middle East looked liked prior to Jan, 2001, and we all know what it looks like now. And we all know who was in charge prior to ‘01 and who’s in charge now. (We also know who was in charge on 9/11).  Time we started to do some dot connecting.

Something’s “sick” alright… and it ain’t the “souls.” It’s their bloody religion!

“What tim mcviegh doing his bit so that a race war can start between the blacks and the aryans…”

************* michael and Rae, think it through: agents provocateurs have infiltrated every political action group, nationalist self-determination initiative and cultural preservationist organization that shows even the slightest threat to the NWO’s mission of global dominance, including Islamic Madrases (religious schools) - the goal is total chaos…the rabble of the entire glob in perpetual war and mutual hatred; leaving us all desperate for their “peacekeeping.” The Global War Of Terror is scheduled for 100 years.

What tim mcviegh doing his bit so that a race war can start between the blacks and the aryans ( the true people of god)  what about the sicko who shot the abortion doctor and his bodyguard and then proclaimed before being put to death that he would sit on the right hand of god.  what about the ( preacher) and his followers that show up at soliders funerals to proclaim that the person died because god is mad at us for not being harder on gays ????  this is the problem with a religon when its followers believe that they are the only true believers and this gives them the right to do whatever they want to whoever they want.  Kind of like the bozos we have runinng the country right now.  And guess what islam does not have a monopoly on this.

Maliki, you ungrateful slut, how dare you complain about terrists ‘destroying the beautiful face of Baghdad and its religious landmarks!?

The US is doing all it can by building new religious landmarks for the beautiful face of Baghdad, what about the ‘Green Zone’, for example?

*********** be certain, RAE, there is a deeply vested interest in getting you and millions of others to fully believe that — see Samuel Huntington’s “Clash of Civilizations” (PNAC essential dogma) — and as for what you see and what you hear, you must remember this:

“The Central Intelligence Agency owns anyone of any significance in the major media.” — Former CIA Director William Colby

“The mosque’s imam said the attack was carried out by “sick souls”...”

You don’t say!

Wouldn’t it be reasonable to assume that the great religion of ISLAM, with all of it’s conditioning, rituals, rules and regulations would have, by now, eliminated “sick souls?”

From where I sit, with every passing year, Islam produces MORE SICK SOULS than all the other religions put together.

Something’s “sick” alright… and it ain’t the “souls.” It’s their bloody religion!

“Just $19 billion annually can end starvation and malnutrition. Issues such as poverty foster a lot of the tensions that exist in the world today. As leaders in this world, we really need to get behind peaceful growth rather than war.”

********* of course- the obstacle is clear - the hegemons are addicted to war - it’s profitable and to the genuinely insane among them, is a raison d’être, so long as its the rabble in the trenches - religious divisiveness is a manufactured ruse, encouraged and subversively enflamed by operatives of the hegemons - al Queda, was designed to terrorize and enrage the citizenry on every side of the Middle East struggle; to promote a strategy of tension leading to a chaos so horrific that if it succeeds, it will leave us all begging the hegemons for their “protection,” in any form delivered (e.g. RFID identity and tracking chips,  already in use, but not yet mandatory.)

To many it all looks like incompetence and intelligence failure, but that’s because it’s supposed to — in truth the Global War Of Terror is the most stunning intelligence success of all time, authored by the New World Oligarchy.

Fighting a war that we were misled into fighting and causing more tumult in the Middle East is not going to ensure national security. We have spent over $340 billion in Iraq, with the price tag rising, and no good has come out of it. There is no peace, no end to terror and worst of all we have left the Iraqi people in deeper poverty and instability.

According to the Borgen Project, $340 billion has already been spent in Iraq and we have a $522 billion military budget. What has resulted from that money? The money would be better spent on plans such as the UN Millennium Development Goals to end global poverty. Just $19 billion annually can end starvation and malnutrition. Issues such as poverty foster a lot of the tensions that exist in the world today. As leaders in this world, we really need to get behind peaceful growth rather than war.
