5 Suspected Militants Captured in Baghdad

American and Iraqi troops raided houses and buildings in Baghdad’s Sadr City neighborhood on Wednesday to arrest five suspected members of a Shiite terror cell following Tuesday’s brazen kidnapping of a British computer expert and his four bodyguards from a government building in the capital city.

CNN.com:

“Intelligence reports indicate the cell leader that was targeted and detained during the morning’s operation is suspected of being a key weapons trafficker ... of small arms, mortars and other munitions,” the military said, including “explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, from Iran to Iraq, as well as bringing militants from Iraq to Iran for terrorist training.”

The U.S. military has been saying for months that militants are getting the EFPs from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Quds Force and that Iraqi militants are being trained in Iran.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has denied the allegations, chalking it up to U.S. “propaganda.”

And, these “suspects” probably are civilians, just like all the rest. And that is....IF they even “caught” anybody. This just looks like another “planted” news item in the MSM. (I mean, it’s CNN)

In all honesty, I’ve gotten pretty good at spotting the propaganda. It took a while, since we are pretty much conditioned to believe what we here from main stream media, (at least my generation is) so we still kind of gravitate to that, which is exactly how the Mob has been able to fool so many reasonably intelligent people for so long now.

But by now, the lies have been so recycled that even less curious folks are starting to figure it out. It just sort of slaps you in the face. For instance, how often do we hear about these “captures” of “insurgents” or “militants” or “terrorists”? Not really all that often, and even when we do read that they’ve supposedly “caught” somebody for something, like the bombing of the Samarra Shrine that effectively kicked off the sectarian dynamic to the violence) then we never find out anything else, like who they are, where they came from, what side of the fight are they on, etc, etc. They don’t even give names of these supposed “suspects”, so why even bother to publish this, other than to feed an innocently naive public?

And, this just conveniently happens the very day after these British civilians are kidnapped? They rounded them up that fast, even though it’s been over 5 years, and they still can’t get a bead on the real terrorists...al-Qaeda, or their leaders. (I personally think Osama is dead, but Zawahiri is obviously still in the picture, since that’s who sends us the messages now, via al-Jazzera)

As for the Iran stuff....same thing. It’s highly likely that some weapons are able to cross that porous border.  And, having initiated this blood bath 5 years ago, they should probably expect that. It began spilling over years ago, just as predicted, long before it was begun. But the rest of this saber rattling at Iran is exactly what Iran is saying it is;. just more of the same propaganda that they’ve been using to demonize Iran since day one. It’s a way to initiate the next planned attack on them. And of course Ahamedinejad hasn’t made things any better with some of his stronger rhetoric, that is always cherry-picked or obscured by the time we read it, so it too, is frequently taken out of context, like a selective cut and paste job.

Anyway, I said all of that to say that I don’t even believe this stuff about the capture of these “suspects” nor is there any historical or current evidence to lead anyone to believe that Iran is assisting in the killing of their fellow Shiites, or that they have any LOGICAL reason to want to have a huge bloody destructive war raging next door. And we know that they are not even close to being able to manufacture nuclear weapons, even if they ARE lying when they say that as an Islamic nation, they have no want or need for nuclear WEAPONS, but that they ARE LEGALLY ENTITLED under International Law, (NPT)to a civilian nuclear program, as long as they abide by the rules of the Treaty, which they have.

This is just another example of how the main stream press, has been taken over by the Mob, to pass on all of this BS, even though it’s either totally false, or grotesquely misconstrued.

Thanks God for independent media and the Internet. Who knows how long we would have remained ignorant to so much of this.
