Iraqi Defense Minister Abdul-Qader al-Obeidi revealed Monday that his government is planning for a rapid pullout of American forces: “The army plans on the basis of a worst-case scenario so as not to allow any security vacuum. ... There are meetings with political leaders on how we can deal with a sudden pullout.”

AP via Yahoo!:

On Monday, Defense Minister Abdul-Qader al-Obeidi told reporters Iraq’s military was drawing up plans in case U.S.-led forces left the country quickly.

“The army plans on the basis of a worst case scenario so as not to allow any security vacuum,” al-Obeidi said. “There are meetings with political leaders on how we can deal with a sudden pullout.”

It was unclear whether al-Obeidi’s comment referred to routine contingency planning or reflected a feeling among Iraqi leaders that the days of U.S. support may be numbered even though President Bush blocked an effort by Congress to set a withdrawal timetable.

I’ll bet the Iraqi puppets are telling their servants to get their houses in Miami ready and get the current balance of their Swiss bank accounts. I can literally see their golden parachutes opening up all over the world when the day comes that we do pull out and it can’t f**king happen soon enough.

Good news ! Just try to stand on your own foot. Never keep foreign troops on your soil. Internal affairs will be solved without the interference from foreigners.

The “security vacuum” will be the continued existence of Maliki’s puppet government.

“Iraq’s resistance groups have offered a series of peace plans that might put an end to the country’s sectarian violence, but they’ve been ignored by the U.S.-led coalition because they’re opposed to foreign occupation and privatization of oil…..”  http://www.alternet.org/story/52135/
