U.S. General: American Troop Deaths Will RisePosted on May 7, 2007Maj. Gen. Rick Lynch, in charge of southern and eastern areas of Baghdad, delivered the grim prediction Sunday that U.S. troop casualties will rise as American forces infiltrate the biggest danger zones in and around the capital. Lynch gave his forecast on a deadly day for Americans and Iraqis alike.

Well, apparently somebody in this administration thinks the terrorist need more training.
Lets see, Juba the sniper (22+ and not caught), shaped charges that can even take out our front line battle tanks, learned how to shoot down our helicopters, green zone not green but red, and an effective propaganda machine and multiple websites.
While our recruitment levels are falling, the terrorists are giving out numbers and probably turning people away. They will bask in glory and our troops will go present/post traumatic stress.
In Viet Nam our soldiers were put in the same position; no front lines, no identifiable enemy (no uniform) until he/she or the cute kid shoots you, friend by day, enemy by night.
Hellooooooo out there! Of course the casualties will increase, you moron!
Repeat after me...hearts and minds...hearts and minds.
Hint...we’re on the wrong side for that....
Get the *&%@ out of there!

Obviously, nothing has improved there except the profits of Halliburton and Blackwater, etc etc.

Maybe there’s some truth to the religious whacko’s shrill screeching. Maybe this earth really does belong to the dark forces. Maybe there really is a Devil and his Disciples are busy rounding up people to offer them up as human sacrifice. And maybe we just don’t recognize which side is which.
Maybe the “good” guys are really the bad guys, and visa versa. Maybe those TV preachers dressed in red and black and sitting on a golden thrown work for God alright, but not the one the Cristianists think.
Seems to me there’s a scripture somewhere that says, “ - gently take you by the hand, and lead you down to Hell.”
Maybe the floods and freezes and tornadoes and hurricanes and droughts and fire storms and melting glaciers and rising seas are really manifestations of an angry God these people think they worship, “ - but they know him not.” Maybe that God’s just plain had it! Maybe the day is at hand when he/she will have exhausted all predicted warnings and just finish us off as hopeless blind fools.
Maybe that God really is calling the people to repent. Maybe the Christianists just don’t understand, that God means them too.
How many warnings to repent do you suppose that God will send before everybody just gets zapped!
Maybe there really will be an Armageddon, only maybe the only ones saved will be the homeless sleeping on the streets and the beggars on the corners and the refugees driven from one land to another, while no one offers them help or shelter. The poor and the sick and the homeless. Not a pink wig, golden chair or diamond ring in the bunch!
Or, maybe I’ve just been watching Beelze - oops, I mean Bush for too long.
What a wonderful example of the capacity for monumental indifference and cruelty. Not to mention greed and bloodlust.
Having successfully started and lost two wars, and having successfully made fools of a congress who made little ripples about accountability, and having flipped off we the people and having managed to actually increase the level of violence and death and destruction, Bush wants more.
Some people are never satisfied.
Or maybe they just haven’t used up all the tin caskets some private contractor somewhere has already been paid to build.
Capitalists always worry about the numbers and the bottom line and the profit/loss statement. People are expendable. Investments need protecting.

Sir do you think we’re idiots?
We knew this would be the outcome of a wrong headed, supposed change in strategy.
Now we will tell you that the final outcome will still be our with-drawal, so the Iraqis can fight it out to determine who is going to run that country and what form of government will survive.
I personally predict the post occupation government will be fundementalist, based on the Kuran, administered by the Shiite with close ties to Iran.
Damn, you Generals with the blessings of “The Decider” and his cohorts have done more to damage this country in the last four years than could have ever been imagined.
In the mean time, through your efforts put this country on a steep slope toward bankruptsy, and strengthened the position of the real terrorists.
Holy-shit give these assholes a medal.
What arrogance! What self-serving fools!

Duh, General Lynch, is this your way of announcing your candidacy as a republican presidential candidate? You trying to Out-Dumb ‘The Commander’?
Let’s see, we send another 30,000-or-so troops into the hell-hole of a civil war our idiot president incited at the urging of his neo-con zionist ‘advisors’, give them orders to drive around amidst the warring factions and draw ‘enemy’ fire, so we can ‘identify’ the ‘bad’ guys (whom an overwhelming majority of the Iraqi consider ‘good’ guys for trying to throw ‘the Invaders’ - that’s US - out, or kill them (US)), and ‘we expect more casualties’!!??
Let’s not file that under ‘unintended consequences’, let’s file it under ‘Command Stupidity’, and our command stinks from the head.

Hey, General Lynch has had the decency to let us know in advance that the rate of American casualties in the Bush War will increase; so then, of course, we should all just chill out and not make a big deal about it; that’s war! The “Commander guy” is the “decider” about how many young Americans must sacrifice their lives so that he can pose as the great warrior, instead of the craven deserter he actually was.

General Lynch,
Please speak up then refuse to send your troops to killing fields. Don’t you know that even the situation in Iraq is very very bad but Iraqi parliament members still discuss about their forthcoming vacation for 2 months. They don’t care and don’t pay any attention to their own problems so why should we ?
Please stop sending your troops to hell immediately.
Report thisBush/Cheney are at the same condition of Iraqi parliament members, these two criminals didn’t care for our troops. They only care for their own benefits and their phantom glory. We can say without a doubt that these two are traitors !
