A group of off-duty Shiite policemen is suspected of shooting about 70 Sunni men inside their homes Tuesday night in Talafar, an Iraqi border town that President Bush once pointed to as proof that Iraqi forces were able to contain insurgent violence. The ambush is considered a possible retaliation for explosions earlier in the day that killed more than 50 in a Shiite zone of the town.

BBC:

Iraqi officials said the attack occurred in a district of the town where tensions have been rising between Shia, Sunni and Turkmen residents.

Elsewhere, two suicide trucks carrying chlorine were detonated near a compound in Fallujah, wounding 15 soldiers.

Anyone else get emails from the Front? Iraq’s a mess no matter how they spin it. C’mon Senator McCain, take up Michael Ware’s challenge for a stroll around our ‘more secure Baghdad.’ For Iraqi sake, I hope they can recover after the GOP’s Bush-Whack ... just like we’ll have to!

I wonder when Bush will say that the war is not winnable, the surge did not stop anything, the tired saying we are aiding and abeting the enemy is getting old.

This war is about Bush and Chaney cashing in on 9/11 and the present administration was told by the clinton administration that something might happen, did everyone forget about the first Word Trade Center bombing, brought to you by the same people.

The middle east must keep a dictatorship going and what better way to keep the government that way then to impose religion as a stranglehold on the people.

Women have a brain, but are reduced to children, the men have the execuse women cannot control their emotions therefore they are not able to lead, I say what is anger but an emotion and some men cannot control anger.

Women are a lot smarter than men in most cases.
Women are no longer or should be controled by men by having babies, having more than 5 children is too much.  And the middle east produces a lot of children and these children are the cannon fodder for the war, and I believe not everyone wants to kill themselves for a cause.

Bush doesn’t have any model town even in the U.S.
the only model is his booze cellar.
