The military has released a confession attributed to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the supposed mastermind of 9/11. According to the partially redacted transcript of his secret hearing, Mohammed claimed responsibility for 28 attacks, including 9/11, the Bali bombing, a number of operations that were never carried out and some that were not thought to be closely related to al-Qaida.
At one point during his hearing, the presiding officer asked whether Mohammed was speaking under duress. His response was blacked out, although he appeared to suggest the CIA had tortured him.
The military has refused to allow outside observers to attend the hearing.
AP via Yahoo!:
Mohammed said he was involved in planning the 2002 bombing of a Kenya beach resort frequented by Israelis and the failed missile attack on an Israeli passenger jet after it took off from Mombasa, Kenya. He also said he was responsible for the bombing of a nightclub in Bali, Indonesia. In 2002, 202 were killed when two Bali nightclubs were bombed.
Other plots he said he was responsible for included planned attacks against the Sears Tower in Chicago, the Empire State Building and
New York Stock Exchange, the Panama Canal and Big Ben and Heathrow Airport in London—none of which happened.
He said he was involved in planning assassination attempts against former Presidents Carter and Clinton, attacks on U.S. nuclear power plants and suspension bridges in New York, the destruction of American and Israeli embassies in Asia and Australia, attacks on American naval vessels and oil tankers around the world, and an attempt to “destroy” an oil company he said was owned by former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger on Sumatra, Indonesia.
He also claimed he shared responsibility for assassination attempts against
Pope John Paul II and Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.
In all, Mohammed said he was responsible for planning 28 attacks and assisting in three others. The comments were included in a 26-page transcript released by the Pentagon, which blacked out some of his remarks.

The “official” story of how 9/11 happened is a complete fabrication!
We should send bush and cheney to Guantanamo to make them tell the truth like they supposedly made this patsy “confess”.
Every poll I’ve seen today says 4 to 1 that people don’t believe this “confession”.
There might be hope for this country yet!

In 1942 my father was arrested by the Japanese Kempetai in Shanghai, taken to an infamous torture chamber, Bridge House, kept for months in a tiny cage and then “water boarded.” Several soldiers held him down, one held a sponge over his mouth and nose while another poured water onto the sponge. After passing out multiple times over a span of several hours, he signed a false confession that he was a British agent even though he suspected it would lead to his death. (Fortunately they didn’t kill him. Otherwise I would not be in a position to relay this story.)
The problem was that my father’s signature was so weak it was barely legible. So they came back the next day and told him to sign another one, lest he undergo the torture all over again. He signed.
The fact that Khalid Sheik Mohammad confessed inside a military tribunal by no means means that this confession was not the product of torture. To the contrary, it is virtually certain Mohammad was not only “water boarded”—a technique specifically approved by Justice Dept. memos. He was likely subjected over an extended period to the sensory deprivation, sensory inundation and self-inflicted pain forms of psychological torture that have been in place since the CIA first produced the KUBARK manual in 1963. As noted by Professor Alfred McCoy in “A Question of Torture” the “fusion of these…techniques…creates a synergy of physical and psychological trauma whose sum is a hammer-blow to the fundamentals of personal identity.”
Mr. Mohammad’s confessions, splashed on the front pages by an unquestioning media, may be true or they may be lies presented in the same manner as the “confessions” of former Soviet leaders at Stalinist “show trials.”

“Khalid Shaikh Mohammed captured in 2003 in Pakistan, was subjected by the CIA to waterboarding and other “extreme interrogation” techniques, (TORTURE) according to current and former CIA officials.”
“Legal experts say his case will test whether confessions made as the result of such techniques (TORTURE) will be admissible under the rules of the special Combatant Tribunals established by the BUSH ADMINISTRATION.”
“Khalid Shaikh Mohammed’s confession is a remarkable document, listing most of the known, and a few unknown, terror attacks or plots over the last 10 years.”
“He says the Sears Tower was to be destroyed by “BURNING A FEW FUEL OR OIL TANKER TRUCKS BENEATH IT OR AROUND IT.”
OK, that does it for me!
This is the plan of the 9/11 mastermind?
This is the smelliest pile of shit we’ve had dumped on us yet! Like nobody would notice a few fuel and oil tanker trucks beneath and around the Sears Tower? Like even if they didn’t before they caught fire, they couldn’t bring those fires under control? Is this the best suggestion the Torturers could plant in the head of the Torture-ee?
Talk about waste deep in trash and twaddle!
The timing is perfect, the confessions are beyond belief,
THE WHOLE THING IS A PACK OF LIES DESIGNED TO DISTRACT ATTENTION FROM THE PACK OF LIARS!

When reading this it is almost impossible to believe this confession.
For starters, the interigation was not done on US soil so the US law doesn’t really apply and who knows what was done to him. He could be used simply as a cushion for the government in a way of attempting to point the finger of blaim away from them and in the direction of a man who so willinging confessed.
In order to believe Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s confession, one must put alot of trust into the government which had in fact blacked one of his answers to a question in regaurds to if he was only admitting to these crime in concern of his own well being. Also they must believe this man who so willingly confessed to multiple serious acts and planned acts or terror.

After being mercilessly tortured for five years straight, I think I’d confess to 9/11 too! Now we can we all rest assured that Cheney had nothing to do with “the day the world was provided an excuse for him and his friends to proceed with their diabolical plan to runle the world”. This terrorist probably did some really bad things in his day.

This used to be the subject of movies made to assure us that the enemy-of-the-month were indeed very bad people, as evidenced by their torture to obtain obviously not believable sweeping confessions to any and everything. We could sit in a movie theatre or at home with our telly and feel all self righteous that we would never fall for such obvious tactics because we are, after all, so much more moral and upright than ¨those people¨.

Wait, there’s more. He also confessed that he is responsible for bird flu, Hurricane Katrina, the recent drop in stock prices, the recent rise in gas prices, el nino, and global warming. The Pentagon has also indicated that Mohammed is trying to claim he came up with the idea of string theory, but they don’t really think that’s true.

Are we to assume then that Usama Bin Laden was not in charge of the attacks on 9/11? Does this let Usama Bin Laden off the hook? Will this be used as the justification for the Bush administration dropping the ball in Afghanistan, so they could attack Iraq? The country that had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11? Will Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s date of capture, March 1, 2003 be used to justify a premature withdrawel from Afghanistan. Or is that just a coincidence?
Will we see the 13 other alleged terror operatives Bush has named, along with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, as “the 14 most significant captures since 9/11” brought to trial? Or will all of this be kept from the public view, useful only as unseen and unproven propaganda to feed the GWOT? (Global War On Terror)
If what Khalid Sheikh Mohammed says is true, that he was responsible “for the 9/11 operation from A to Z” then he should be charged and brought to trial, in the United States. Trial in an open court, where those who survived the 9/11 attacks, and friends and family of those who did not can witness the evidence, the trial and if he is found guilty, witness his sentencing.
Anything less would be an affront to those who have already suffered so much. If there is a person alive, and in U.S. custody who claims credit for 9/11 and if there is no public trial, there can be no closure. And to refuse to allow closure will only further call into question whether or not the people are being told the truth about anything!

Again, our current Government working in secrecy can say anything they want to in order to divert attention from their lies and crimes against the American public. Unfortunately, alot of Americans fall for it. If Sheikh Mohammed is responsible for 911 A to Z, then as Larry Silverstein, the man who held the lease on WTC 1,WTC 2 and WTC 7 admitted pulling WTC 7, must have helped Larry plant the explosives. If it is reported that Sheihk Mohammed said he was plotting to kill Clinton and Carter, this sounds like an diversion attempt by government operatives to discredit serious and legitimate inquiries into incomplete explanations by the 911 Commission regarding the actual events that day because those who follow Clinton and Carter are more likely to question the official explanation.
Report thisIf the pentagon, who are constantly caught in lies about their wiretaping Americans and human rights abuses, want the American public to believe these admissions by Sheikh Mohammed, then why aren’t the press allowed in these court rooms? It’s already been proven that torture does not gain reliable information. I’m sorry, I don’t buy it! And I’m sure a majority of Americans feel the same.

What an absolute JOKE!
Just as more and more evidence comes out implicating bush/cheney, etc with 9/11, they
conveniently get this gut to “confess”...and it only took 5 years of torture! Way to go!
Several videos have surfaced recently from CNN and the BBC showing their talking heads announcing that the WTC7 bldg had collapsed 20 minutes BEFORE it actually had! AND, it was still standing in the background as they said it!
BTW, did you even know that a 3rd bldg had collapsed on 9/11? WTC7. And it has been rebuilt already.
And they want us to believe this guy did 9/11.
Sadly, the American sheeple ARE stupid enough to believe this sham…

Khalid Sheik Mohammed has revealed what a great humanitarian he is. He is most likely up for the Noble Peace Prize. One wonders from what depths of depravity he dreamed up and manifested his festering hatred for humankind? Well, one could possibly take a guess. I dare not venture to express it though, for fear of being beheaded.

Apart from the fact that we have no way of knowing whether anything emerging from this “secret hearing” is true, I would like to know what the CIA has done with Mr. Mohammed’s two little sons? Simply by GOOGLING “CIA holds two Pakistani boys,” you will discover a 9/3/03 London Telegraph story by Olga Craig, reporting in great detail how the CIA was then detaining Mr. Mohammed’s little (nine and seven year-old) sons at an undisclosed location in the US, where those innocent children were “being used by the CIA to force their father to talk.” NO AMERICAN MEDIA HAVE EVER EVEN NOTED THIS STORY, MUCH LESS FOLLOWED IT UP. As a lawyer with 45 years experience in federal law, I happen to know that it is a capital crime (under the federal Lindberg Kidnapping Act) for any person (including CIA officers) within the US to physically detain children for purposes of extortion. Am I alone in this wonderful “land of the free” in wondering how this apparently heinous crime has gone uninvestigated and unpunished for more than three years?
